One could say that everything was already decided beforehand. With the tons of recommendation letters that he got from very influential people like his master, Lord Padishah-Marshall and the members of the HighCom of the Imperial Military.

He was aware that with the skillset and talents that he had, then even if he failed miserably, they would still accept him just for the sheer fact that he had Super-High Risk Primal Psyker Ability Dimension Empyrean, Super Attunement to the Psionic Energy and talent for the swordsmanship and Psionic Energy.

All of this was proof that even if he was without any cultivation, he was still really worth investing in and cultivating by the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy. People like him would be brought to the Academy no matter what because their talent was just too huge for it to be not cultivated into its full potential.

"As it was expected, the results of the Combat Tests are splendid, even far above the heavy majority of the applicants to the Academy."

Nathril El-Amini Kane was indeed speaking the truth when he spoke about the combat test results because they were indeed splendid. Not many of the applicants to the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy had such good combat results from the Combat Tests.

Not many people scored such good scores when undergoing the Combat Tests, but on the other hand, those who did were all eligible for the Special Course Class and received the best resources and grooming from the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy.

All people in the Special Course Class were unique in a certain way; not a single person who entered the Special Course Class was average, and many of the people who were admitted to the SCC Programme were unique and had certain special needs.

Many were the ones that either never received the formal education, some were the ones that needed rather special attention and couldn't attend the standard course of the Academy or some were needed elsewhere and could not attend the Academy at all of the time.

"Based on the test results, your place within the Special Course Class is certainly deserved. After we end here, you will get your student ID, schedule, and everything that would be needed for further studies at the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy. As a member of the Special Course Class, you will have several privileges and rights that normal students don't have, especially the right not to really pay attention to the courses and classes, as long as you gather enough Credits. At the same time, the exams for the students of the S-Class are far higher than that of the ordinary students of the Academy."

With that being said, Headmaster Kane provided rather lengthy explanations about the Special Class Course, the privileges, duties, and everything around it. Arcturus had to admit that as a student of the Special Course Class, he would have far more freedom than the average students of the Academy.

While the normal time to graduate from the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy was five years, the students of the Special Class Course could ask for an early graduation and graduate just after two years at the fastest rate.

That was really rather good bonus for being in the S-Class.

Another bonus that he had as a member of the Special Course Class was a very high degree of freedom, so the only thing that mattered for the members of the Special Course Class was the number of credits that they had gathered.

Aside from that, nothing else really mattered. As long as the students were meeting the Credit Requirements set by the Academy to pass through the examinations, they were okay and nothing else was needing.

Arcturus actually really liked that because it gave him a high degree of freedom because he wanted to do his stuff. He knew that the last thing that he wanted in this life was to sit the whole day in the classroom and stare at the roof.

He has already experienced that... several times and for several years, and it wasn't something that he had any wish for.

He would rather spend the time more effectively than sit in class; he knew that his comprehension capabilities were rather high, and with the help of the Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants that were being continuously upgraded by the Red Queen, comprehending the curriculum of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy wasn't that much of a problem.

What Arcturus wanted from the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy was access to their Library and teachings. As a member of the Special Course Class, the sole classes that he was required to attend unconditionally were the ones related to the Combat and Psionics.

Also, as a student of the Special Course Class, he had the right to ask for private tutelage from the Professors of the Academy if he had any problem. There were many other perks for the students of the S-Class, but at the same time, the requirements for the students were even higher than anyone could imagine.

"And the last thing, as the student of the S-Class, you are required to represent the Eternal Empire of the Asurya in the Combat Tournaments organized by the other High-Level Civilizations and High-Level Star Nations, mainly in the Cross-Star Professional Tournament of the Desolate Cosmic Territory."

Headmaster Kane explained the responsibilities of the students of the S-Class, and they were rather problematic because participating in the Combat Tournaments wasn't something that he really wanted to do in fact.

He preferred his anonymity and the fact that nobody really knew him or recognized him, as that would be better for his job as a Star Mercenary and Bounty Hunter. If everyone knew his face, then it would be a bit problematic as that would disturb his plans a bit.

Headmaster Kane asked as Arcturus nodded as he understood everything. In the end, the conditions that Headmaster Kane stated were very straightforward.

Though, he also knew that the rewards for the winning such Combat Tournament were extraordinary, especially the ones that were organized by some of the top Civilizations and Star Nations in the Desolate Star Region.

There were many very precious things that were often given as rewards for winning the Tournament, not only to the individuals who won the Tournament itself but also to the faction to which they belonged.

And at the thought of getting his hands on some of those things, he almost drooled.

"Yes, I got it all..."

There were not even many things in the first place, aside from the most crucial ones, while the rest would be sent over through the Imperial NetSphere. When he became a student of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, he received a comprehensive guide to the Academy's rules and everything else within.

"Now, when we have all of the formalities done, you will be led to the dormitories for the S-Class Students. Right now, there are only 9 students within the Special Course Class, but all of them are top-notch from across the entire Eternal Empire of the Asurya. Physically present within the premises of the Academy, though, are only three as the rest are doing their own things, mostly completing the missions assigned by the Academy to obtain Academy Points or training."

That was a far lesser number than he had anticipated, yet somehow, he wasn't really surprised by such a low number of students in the Special Course Class.

From what he knew, even the overall student body of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy was no more than fifteen thousand, which was rather low considering that this was a top-notch education institution of the High-Level Star Nation like the Eternal Empire of the Asurya.

Yet apparently, the rejection rates were also frighteningly high, and many of the applicants just were not meeting even the basic criteria that were stricter and harsher with each passing year, as the Academy cultivated and trained only the best of the best.

So, with the standards that high, it was no wonder that the S-Class had only nine students; it wasn't like there were no other equally talented people in the normal course because the Special Class Course was mainly created for people with unique circumstances like Arcturus.

Basically, it is for those who cannot or did not want to remain under the constraints of the rules of the Academy due to a plethora of personal circumstances. For Arcturus, it was partially his age, then his occupation and other things, that he wanted to go through this way.

At the same time, something was telling him that he could meet very interesting people in the Special Course Class. As much as he could remember, apparently, the granddaughter of Karleon Alvix was also currently attending the S-Class at the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, so it seemed that they would be classmates.

"That's a rather lower number than expected..."

Arcturus muttered as Bashar-General Nathril nodded as he agreed with the statement. He would be more pleased if the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy had more students and many more who attended the Special Course Class, but that was rather impossible.

That would most probably mean lowering the standards of the academy for admission, which was impossible because such a thing didn't come into consideration under any circumstances.

"Yes, but the number of the students with the qualifications to be part of the Special Class Course, meaning those graded as S-Grade Potential, we have around thirty without the inclusion of the Special Class Course."

That wasn't really that bad, but when he thought about it, it was already very good for the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy to gather that many talents across the Empire.

Considering the low number of the Asuryani and Votanns, the population of the Eternal Empire of the Asurya was relatively low. This was proof that the potential of the Asuryani and Votanns was very high.

Half an hour later, Arcturus was led to the dormitory for the Special Course Class, which was coated a good distance from the Tower, where the Headmaster's office was located. When the discussion with the Headmaster was finished, he was led to the dormitory of the Special Course Class through the navigation that was displayed through the Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants.

The dormitory of the Special Course Class was located in one of the adjusted buildings, which was rather large. One could say that it was very large considering that it was currently housing only nine people or so, and the overall number of people that the dormitory was the house wasn't higher than twenty since the founding of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy.

The dormitory was made with the typical Imperial Architecture, though it was much more modern than the rest of the buildings, clearly signifying that the dormitory for the Special Course Class was newly made as it wasn't in the classical archive of the Empire.

When he came to the entrance doors to the dormitory, he put his hand into the scanner and released a bit of his Psionic Energy as the doors were unlocked. His DNA and Psionic Energy Signature was already uploaded into the Academy's internal systems.

Everything in the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy functioned on the basis of very advanced technology, and all doors and all security measures were controlled by the person's DNA and Psionic Energy Signature.

"Arcturus Crawford, S-Class. Acess Granted."

The advanced high-tech doors opened and revealed an enormous common room that was certainly a bit bigger than he had expected. There were several sofas in the middle of the room around the fireplace; the room was surrounded by huge glass walls that provided a very nice view of the landscape of the Celestara.

Down by the corridors, there were several doors leading to the personal rooms of the students that were living in the dormitory of the Special Course Class. When he entered the lounge, he noticed that there were no people present. Headmaster Kane had already noted that there were only three people present from the Special Course Class on the premises of the Academy.

"Better than I have expected... who would have thought. Based on the room that I was given when arriving here, I expected that the dormitories would be similar."

Every single room was assigned to one of the members of the S-Class, and it was filled with the utmost level of luxuries that the Academy could provide. Arcturus also knew that there was another catch of being inside the Special Course Class.

There was a possibility for the top-ranked of the Academy Ranking Leaderboard to challenge the members of the S-Class for their privileges. If the challenged won the challenge, he would obtain the privileges of the S-Class Member, who would lose them in turn.

"I should get to my room..."

Arcturus muttered as he prepared to enter his room before one of the doors opened, revealing a figure that exited the room and looked directly at Arcturus with a mixture of curiosity and frown.
