Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Shining Beacon, Silver Eyes



[3rd POV]

A couple days had passed since Korra had her aura unlocked by Gwen, aura that had been about as much as what Gwen had expected from her. A monstrous amount beyond the likes of Jaune, but not on the same level as Raven, who had more than any other being in the world.

During these couple of days, the group had mostly just relaxed and toured around Vale, the city that they, and Beacon was in. A large city, but one that would eventually be taken over by Grimm, should it go as canon.

Gwen had openly had her true form out, and got constant looks of disgust from humans, but she ignored every single one, as she truly cared less. She was above the opinions of them, and cared little for what thye said about her. And they said alot, especially considering her form was more unique than any faunus. She almost looked similar to a grimm, with a boney looking hand that was due to her Titan heritage. And that led to a lot more attention than even a normal faunus.

Besides unlocking Korra's aura, Gwen had made some clones to get a lay of the land, aka the world. She had found that the world wasn't very big, roughly the size of North America or so, and that is all continents combined in size. The cities were large, but overcrowded, and quite frankly, unprotected from a proper attack. Atlas especially, as it was a cesspool of racists and bigots, and was a death hazard to the city below it.

Atlas was a floating city, but it was one that is quite literally tied to the grounds below, which also housed the city of Mantle, which was where most of the poorer individuals lived. The city itself was where the Schnee corporation was based out of, said corporation being the main suppliers of dust.

Vale is much less racist, but certainly is still full of them. It also has less military power than Atlas (who has the most military might) but is overall much nicer to live in.

There was also the kingdoms of Mistral, Vacuo, and the small landmass known as Menagerie where most Faunus reside. There was some other small cities as well, but they weren't really all that important.

At the moment, Gwen and the girls were in something called an "Airship" which in simple terms, was a aerial vehicle that sort of looked like a it had wings, and was much different looking in comparison to a normal Airship as you'd expect.

This ship was taking them to Beacon, and within it were a number of other students, ready to finally become a member of the best combat school in all of Remnant.

Gwen was getting a number of looks because of her appearance, which was causing the girls to grow more and more annoyed, getting sick and tired of them. The blatant and open racism was disgusting in their eyes.

"Just ignore them. Their stares mean nothing to me" Gwen whispered, placing a comforting hand on Korra's who looked like she was about to blow up, with the rest of the girls not looking any better.

"Yeah but it isn't right, Gwen. People looking at you like that just because you different than them" Raven said, frowning deeply, as annoyance filled her. She was annoyed that others continuously looked down upon Gwen since they got here, all because she had some horns (that she liked) and unique eyes.

"Please? I want to enjoy my time in Beacon, and I'd rather not ruin it because of a bunch of moronic racists" Gwen said as she brought out her ultimate weapon, a weapon she had never used on them before...puppy eyes.

They all couldn't help but let out coo's as Gwen made herself look positively adorable, her unique appearance helping massively in that regard, as they nodded rapidly, causing Hati to snicker and Teekl to role her eyes as she sat on her lap.

"Good girls" Gwen said as they all sat, blushing slightly at the words. Before they moved closer to her, ignoring the glances they were getting from others, as none of them gave a damn.

Sitting comfortably with the girls around her, Gwen silently thought 'Claim them' She had no reason to wait, as she decided to just use them when she got them, and focus on getting more NL characters for a while, as she remembered that there was a good bit of helpful NL characters out there. Like Cao Cao from DXD, and other sacred gear users.

[NL Characters - Shisui Uchiha, Elfman Strauss (Fairy Tail), Jack Frost (Rise of Guardians), Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto, Part 1), Seras Victoria (Hellsing)]

Assimilating the new characters was instant and easy. The only characters that seemed to take a tiny bit longer for, was Jack Frost and Seras. And that is due to the nature of their abilities. Jack being a spirit who personified winter and the guardian of fun. While Seras was a vampire of the same species as Alucard himself, making her quite special, and powerful. With the assimilation already done, and another hour of flying ahead of her, Gwen began to lean back, and close her eyes, deciding on getting a nap in before she got to Beacon.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Stepping out of the aircraft, Gwen let out a soft sigh as she stretched, having only just woken up a few minutes ago. She looked forward and gazed as Beacon with a smile, as the large school stood in front of her.

"Do you know where we need to go?" M'gann asked, causing Gwen to nod.

"Mmhmm. It's only a small walk away" Gwen replied, as they began to walk towards the assembly hall. She noticed a few familiar faces, like a brown haired boy that glanced at her with a scowl, this being Cardin, a racist teen with very little going for him.

She also noticed a beautiful Red head, and she could tell she was rather skilled. This was Pyrrha, a incredibly skilled warrior who had won numerous tournaments, and was quite famous for being the "invincible girl". She had a semblance called "Polarity" that allowed her to control metal via magnetism.

As well as a bubbly looking girl with orange hair, and a boy who seemed...done with life. This being Nora Vakyrie and Lie Ren (known simply as Ren). Nora had a semblance called "High Voltage", which allowed her to generate and channel electrical energy into her muscles, strengthening them. While Ren had the simple semblance called "Tranquility" which masks negative emotions, allowing him to remain hidden from Grimm, and this works on others as

well.

As the group walked, Gwen blinked several times as her spidey senses went off slightly, showing her that someone was about to bump into her in a burst of speed. A very recognizable

someone.

Looking down to the shorter person who bumped into her, Gwen smiled as silver eyes stared into her own.

The one and only...Ruby Rose. Wielder of the Silver Eyes, daughter of Summer Rose, and half sister to Yang Xiao Long. She was also...the definition of adorable.

Staring down at the girl, Gwen only had one thought on her mind, an important one, and that

was...

'...Cute'
