Sovereign of the Firmaments

Chapter 252 - Low-level Cosmic Crystal

'It must be the knowledge that heavens put in my head.'

This was the only conclusion that Lucas could come to after thinking for a few moments and felt it was not bad.

'So, as long as I ask more and more questions, I can realize the answers on my own.' Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face; however when he realized that he only had limited access to the knowledge.

'As long as I can upgrade my rank, I can know all the secrets in this world.'

Lucas found another reason to upgrade his rank and it was to explore more and more secrets of this magical world.

The thing is Lucas had a lot of questions in his head like,

'How did his soul come to his world?'

'Who created the systems?'

'Why did the nine firmaments have barriers in between them?'

'Why the evil beings and human beings fight? Is it just for the land and resources? Or is there something else?'

There was no end to these questions and everything will become clear to him as long as he has enough ranking.

'Huh?'

Just as he asked a few questions to himself, Lucas realized the answers to some questions.

'Evil beings and human beings have been waging wars against each other since ancient times. The evil beings learned that the human bodies are good resources to increase their strength.'

'After learning that fact, there is no end for the evil race to open portals to the firmament world to hunt down the humans before devouring them; however, a few powerful evil beings make the talented human beings into their slaves by turning them into one of them.'

'Overall, they wanted to invade the entire firmament world before rearing humans as their main source of food.'

Lucas closed his eyes as he learned answers to a couple of questions in his head.

'They want the human race to become their cattle such that they can feed on us?'

Lucas was not disgusted by it as he had witnessed cannibalism in his previous world which looks very peaceful on the surface.

So, in this world, an evil being wanting to eat a human, Lucas didn't feel anything.

'Only by having enough strength, you can survive this world.'

This was what Lucas had already said to himself when he witnessed how this works.

'Anyway, there is still a long way to go before I become a Heavens acknowledged duke.'

Lucas stopped thinking about any more questions as he knew eventually he would learn everything about this world.

'Coming back to my rewards, I still have three village creation tokens from the heavens along with a lot of sovereign points I gained by killing the evil spirit beasts.'

Right now, Lucas didn't bother to use the village creation tokens because he had to find a suitable place for that and a subtitle person to leave in charge of that town.

So, he didn't want to hurry in creating the villages when he barely had people for his Silverstone town.

'After today, hopefully, I can stop worrying about Sovereign points for a while.'

Lucas checked the sovereign points accumulated in his account and hoped they would last for some time because the items in the sovereign shop were becoming more and more expensive.

'Ding,

          Sovereign points:- 250000.

Mostly, he gained the sovereign points from killing the rank 4 and rank 5 evil spirit beasts using his level 2 [Infernal bomb].

'Also, with the upgrade in my status rank by the heavens, what kind of benefits will I get?'

Lucas was curious about the benefits of his new status; however, there was no way for him to know about it.

Last time, when he received heaven's blessing and became a Viscount, he gained full ownership of the Silverstone town and a powerful barrier along with invincible prowess inside the barrier.

But now, Lucas didn't feel any different, making him a little disappointed; however, when he thought about all the rewards he gained today, he was satisfied and stopped thinking much about it.

'Swoosh'

Just as Lucas stopped thinking about the rewards, he noticed a bright glow in the room from the corner of his eye.

'Huh? Is that a cosmic crystal? Did it finish condensing?'

Lucas was surprised for a moment when he saw the brightly glowing thing that looked like a crystal.

'One hour passed by just like that? Checking rewards always make the time flow faster.'

This was thought in Lucas' head as he walked towards the little snake which hissed at him with an excited look in its eyes.

"Let's see how much energy these cosmic crystals can replenish my energy."

First, Lucas lightly tapped the small little of the little snake before picking the cosmic crystal, which was an amethyst purple coloured crystal.

'Ding,

          Item name:- Cosmic crystal.

          Quality:- Low

Use:- A crystal that can instantly replenish the energy in the profession sea of an expert.

          Energy stored:- 1000 units.

'1000 units of energy? Not bad.'

Lucas already expected that only a low-level cosmic crystal could be produced in such a short duration of time.

However, he was satisfied with the 1000 units of energy replenishment for a low-level cosmic crystal.

'If a low-level cosmic crystal can already replenish the energy by 1000 units, then what about the mid-level and high-level cosmic crystals?'

When he thought about the mid-level and high-level cosmic crystal, Lucas could not help but look forward to the growth of the cosmic devouring snake.

"Even though you don't have much battle prowess, as long as you produce cosmic crystals, you will be greatly helping me for the development of the Hellmore family and the Silverstone town."

'Hiss'

Lucas placed his hand in front of the little snake which excitedly rushed onto his finger before wrapping around his index finger.

'But I don't think it will be condensing mid-level cosmic crystal before reaching the rank 3, not to mention high-level cosmic crystal.'

While muttering that, Lucas checked how much energy the little snake used to condense a cosmic crystal.
