Chapter 26 - Extra: His First Name - Part 2
Kana's POV
Now that Saki was out of options, I had only one person who could help me out.
Actually, I had two options but I won't approach that person because he is the boyfriend of the girl who isn't fond of me and she would absolutely create drama over me talking with him so I would rather avoid that scene.
I was standing in the corridor talking with Yukimura. I was feeling like an idiot for asking Sakamaki about his first name, so I thought asking Yukimura would be best.
"Do you know his first name?"
"I do." He nodded with a smug.
"Tell me, I won't ask him then. I feel so dumb right now."
"Don't worry," He assured me. "You're dumb," He added and smiled at me.
I rolled my eyes.
"So his first name is his… Hey Sakamaki." He peeked over my shoulder and waved.
I turned around in panic and no one was there.
"You piece of Shit" I glared at him as he was laughing from teasing me.
"Ok, my bad, so his name is Sa… oh hey Sakamaki?"
"I won't fall for the same trick again." I rolled my eyes.
"Yo," I heard Sakamaki's monotonous tone from behind me and it startled me a bit.
"Kyaaaa!!" Seeing him their for actual startled me because I thought that it was another of Yukimura's lame jokes.
"What happened?" Sakamaki asked me and looked at Yukimura laughing. I swear to god Yukimura getting kicked today by me.
"N… Nothin.. Wait, so let me ask you something." I asked him directly instead of looping around.
"Huh? You're acting really suspicious today." He looked at me with a curious look.
"No I'm not."
"Yes, you are." Yukimura said.
"Shut up!"
Sakamaki was staring at us as he was completely lost about what was going on. I won't lie, his confused face kind of cute.
"What's your name?" I asked him directly, as there was no point in embarrassing myself more.
"Sa-ka-ma-ki" Hearing his answer I facepalmed myself and Yukimura was wheezing at this point.
'What?" He was confused at seeing our reaction.
"No, like you know your… name as …" I was interrupted.
"Tell her your first name, dude." Yukimura said instead of me. I was so embarrassed that I didn't look at Sakamaki.
"Ah, it's Saishi." He casually said.
Saishi? That's a rare name. Though I didn't know the meaning of his name, at least I know it now. I was feeling proud.
Sakamaki was staring at me and then again at Yukimura with a confused look.
"So, Saishi… Saishi… Saishi-kun…" I was trying to get used to calling him by his first name but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
"Are you alright?" He asked me.
"No, it doesn't quite hit the spot… I'm going to stick with Sakamaki-kun." I said.
"Huh!?" He tilted his head with a frown and looked at me.
"Nothing, don't stress about it Sakamaki-kun." I chuckled.
Calling him by his first name didn't turn out to my expectations, even though I was satisfied that I at least knew his first name. I will consider it a win for me.
