Chapter 34: She is back!

Under the gentle glow of the moonlight, Zhang Yuan was sitting on the wooden bench outside his house as the night breeze softly tousled his hair.

He looked down at his lap and saw the beautiful face of his disciple; while she was sleeping peacefully.

His eyes grew tender and he delicately caressed her head, tucking on a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Master..." Muttering in her sleep, she turned her head on his lap and buried her face in his stomach, relishing in his warmth.

Zhang Yuan let out a faint chuckle and continued patting her head.

"My Lord..." At this time, Mei Yu came out of the house and walked closer to him.

"Oh, she is asleep." Strolling near him, she sat beside him on the bench.

Zhang Yuan raised his arm and as she leaned on his chest, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

Hugging him, Mei Yu giggled to herself "My Lord... I feel like I am your wife."

"Oh, did you you forgot? You are my wife..."

Mei Yu raised her head and looked into his eyes "Then, do I need to call you, Husband?"

She cupped her hands and bowed her head, her eyes moistening with tears "Help me once again and I will never forget about your kindness and will definitely repay for that too."

Zhang Yuan helped her and healed her when she was on the brink of death and he didn't do anything to her the first time and let her go.
