*treek* With a flesh-tearing sound, Long Yue's teeth ripped a chunk of flesh from Zhang Yuan's arm as Ming Yuelin pulled her hair.

Long Yue's face twisted in a wild grin, her mouth dripping with blood as she looked down at the flesh between her teeth.

Ming Yuelin's heart sank in despair seeing her Master's flesh being ripped and she clenched her fist in anger.

*SWOOSH* Crimson flames burst out of her body as fire condensed into her fist and she twisted Long Yue's hair slamming her down to the ground. *thud*

Without holding back, she raised her fist, giving a powerful punch to Long Yue's face.

*treek* Blood spurted from Long Yue's nose as the punch landed, splattering across the floor.

Her head snapped back, her eyes rolling as the force of the punch rattled her skull.

But Ming Yuelin wasn't done.

"HOW DARE YOU! MY MASTER!"

Ming Yuelin screamed, her voice cracking with fury and she raised her fist again, flames swirling around her hand as she smashed it down onto Long Yue's face once more.

*thud* *thud* *splash* *thud* Blood splattered across the floor as Long Yue's nose and mouth were broken under the relentless assault.

Her once beautiful face was now a bloody mess, her eyes unfocused as Ming Yuelin continued her merciless barrage.

Seeing her daughter's face, Long Xian tried to rush there, but at this time, a powerful pressure fell on him and he instantly kneeled on the floor.

"MASTER YUAN?"

Zhang Yaun stood up and hurriedly grasped Ming Yuelin's hand stopping her from giving another punch.

Tears moistened her eyes seeing this and she frantically tore strips from her robe, hastily wrapping them around his wound, trying to stop the blood that poured from the bite marks left by Long Yue.

Her voice choked with emotion and tears streamed down her cheeks like a dam as they slipped down her cheeks and splattered against Zhang Yuan's robes.

"Master.. Master.. Master..."

With trembling hands, she quickly wrapped the cloth around his wound and Zhang Yuan also quickly healed his injury.

"Don't worry... Lin'er, I can heal myself."

Looking at her teary eyes, Zhang Yuan's heart softened and he reached out with one hand, his fingers brushing lightly against her tear-streaked face, gently wiping away her tears as they fell.

"Forgive me... for making you cry."

As she glanced at his tender smile, she hugged him, burying her face into his chest "MASTERRR!! uwaaahhhh MASTER!!"

She continued crying, her tears staining his robes "Do you know.. how scared I was to see your blood... Huh? Why are you doing this?"

"Master!! uwaahhhh! MASTER!"

Zhang Yuan's heart ached as he felt her sobs shake her body against his chest.

He held her closer, his arms wrapping around her tightly, his hand soothingly running through her hair as he tried to calm her down. "Lin'er..."

His voice was filled with regret as he spoke. "I'm really sorry... please, forgive me..."

He pressed his cheek against the top of her head, his breath warm against her hair as he murmured apologies into the air between them. "I didn't mean to hurt you..."

Ming Yuelin clung to him, her arms around his neck as if she feared letting go of him would make him disappear. "Uwaaahhh... Master... please don't do this again... please..."

Her cries came in hiccupping gasps, and her tears soaked through his robes, and his hands gently stroked her back, comforting her as much as he could.

"I am really sorry... Lin'er."

As he spoke, he glanced at Long Yue, who lay unconscious nearby, her once-beautiful face now a grotesque mess of blood and broken bones, all thanks to Ming Yuelin's furious assault

Her crushed face began to heal and quickly returned back to normal.

He didn't expect Ming Yuelin to go on a rampage and crush Long Yue... but there is an indescribable feeling in his chest making his heartbeat get faster.

His hands around her waist got tighter as he thought how mad she got just seeing him bleed "I love you so much.. dear..."

Ming Yuelin's sobs quieted, and she lifted her tear-streaked face to look up at him, her eyes wide and shimmering with fresh tears. "Master..." she whispered, her voice trembling as she processed his words.

"I love you so much, dear..." Zhang Yuan repeated, his hand moving to gently cradle her face.

Her arms tightened around his neck, and she buried her face in his chest once more, but this time, her sobs were quieter, more subdued. "I love you too, Master..." she whispered against his robes.

"I love you so much..."

As Zhang Yuan removed the pressure from Long Xian's body, he hurriedly stood up and rushed to his daughter "Yue..."

But Zhang Yuan's words stopped him "Don't get close to her..."

Hearing his words, Long Xian gritted his teeth and stayed silent, her fists clenched in frustration.

Xue Hua also walked to them and kneeled beside him on the floor "Master..."

Zhang Yuan glanced at her and softly patted her head "Are you alright?"

Feeling his gentle pat, Xue Hua closed her eyes and nodded her head "Yes.. Master..."

Zhang Yuan looked down at Ming Yuelin who was hugging him and mumbled "Lin'er..."

Knowing his request, Ming Yuelin pulled herself back from the hug and Zhang Yuan stood up walking close to Long Yue to check on her condition.

Zhang Yuan glanced around at the blood spilling and his flesh splattered in the terrace.

A soft sigh escaped his lips as he turned to Long Xian who was visibly crying "Xian... don't worry, go and bring someone to clean this place."

Then he turned to Xue Hua and called "Hua... come here and get Yue."

"Yes, Master.."
