Chapter 30
Chapter 30
Luo Yangyang could only manage to shift her gaze from Feng Sheng’s stoic face after much difficulty. Facing Hua Yifei, she tried her best to sound as if nothing was wrong when she said, “He’s my bro.”
After hearing Luo Yangyang’s introduction, Feng Sheng scowled at her. It seemed as if he was not happy with how she introduced him.
Feng Sheng’s scowl was too overbearing for Luo Yangyang, causing her heart to tremble in fear. She pursed her lips and looked into his eyes. She even glared at him bravely.
What was he scowling about? If he was not her bro, then what was he?
Of course, she would not say that she was his sex partner. What a bastard.
Feng Sheng’s eyes darkened. He did not expect that the quiet and obedient Luo Yanyang would actually glare at him.
“Your bro?” Hua Yifei was sitting lazily. He was not intimidated by Feng Sheng’s menacing aura at all.
His decadent yet insightful eyes wandered between Luo Yangyang and Feng Sheng. He was doubting that the two only shared a sibling relationship.
Hua Yifei was a director. He was all too familiar with the expressions of actors when they were in front of the camera.
No matter how calm Luo Yangyang pretended to be, Hua Yifei could still see the nervousness in her eyes when she looked at Feng Sheng.
“Are you done talking?” Feng Sheng did not even look at Hua Yifei. His attention was on Luo Yangyang.
“Yes. We’re done.” Their conversation was ending anyway, but Luo Yangyang did not dare to go against Feng Sheng’s cold tone, so she could only nod subconsciously.
“Let’s go.” Feng Sheng’s face was expressionless. He turned away immediately after saying that. He did not want to stay there a second more.
When Luo Yangyang saw that, she grabbed her backpack from the chair and said goodbye to Hua Yifei apologetically. “Director Hua, I’m sorry, but I need to go now. If there’s any problem with the script, we can talk about it on another day, okay?”
Hua Yifei looked at Feng Sheng’s departing figure with an unreadable expression on his face. When he shifted his gaze back to Luo Yangyang, he said casually, “Of course. Off you go.”
Luo Yangyang had no idea that she was the only one who dared to leave early when in a meeting with the genius director. When screenwriters, actors or investors talked business or discussed movie scripts with the director, none of them dared to leave before him.
Feng Sheng was walking too fast, so Luo Yangyang had to jog in order to catch up to him.
Feng Sheng’s business partners were watching Feng Sheng and Luo Yangyang walking away with shocked faces.
This was their first time seeing Feng Sheng walking so close to a woman.
Luo Yangyang was half-skipping next to Feng Sheng. After they got downstairs, Feng Sheng dismissed the chauffeur. He wanted to drive himself. Lou Yangyang hesitated for a while before silently sitting down in the passenger seat.
After the car started, the car rocketed forward as Feng Sheng stepped onto the gas pedal. It was so fast that Luo Yangyang had to take in a huge gulp of air. She promptly grabbed onto the handle.
After five minutes of driving, Feng Sheng was still going extremely fast. Luo Yangyang’s face was pale. She asked weakly, “C-Can you slow down?”
They were in the downtown area. What was Feng Sheng thinking driving so fast? Even if he wanted to die, she did not want to be in an accident with him.
“Okay.” The speeding car did a sudden sharp turn. Luo Yangyang looked at the SUV that they almost crashed into and her grip on the handle became tighter. Her eyes almost popped out from her skull. “Feng Sheng! Do you want to die?”
There were so many cars on the road and yet Feng Sheng was still driving so fast. She was really afraid that they would actually get into an accident.
Luo Yangyang looked at Feng Sheng angrily. She looked at his side profile that exuded the same icy feeling as his aura. She calmed down immediately after.
Was Feng Sheng… mad?
