Chapter 24
Chapter 24
Actually, Feng Sheng did not want to leave. It was just that Luo Yangyang was so seductive when she was standing there naked that he was afraid he would not be able to help himself and devour her once more.
Luo Yangyang blinked a few times in confusion as she watched Feng Sheng walk out from the bathroom with her huge eyes. It was only a moment later that she realized Feng Sheng had not turned back. He really did leave her be.
After confirming that he had left, Luo Yangyang felt her whole body begin to relax. However, her whole face turned red when she recalled what Feng Sheng said to her just before he left. Even her ears were red from embarrassment.
“You bastard! Do you think it was because I wanted to let you see me naked? You only know how to force yourself on people. Will you die if you stopped sending threats my way?” Luo Yangyang’s face puffed up in anger. She turned on the showerhead with a smack.
She only felt at ease when the warm water came pouring down on her body. However, her eyes quickly widened when she saw the bite marks on her body. There were so many of them too.
She ran to the mirror while spouting curses, “Bastard! Bastard! Feng Sheng is a bastard! I still have to go to class. How am I supposed to go out like this?”
There really were a lot of bite marks on her body, but she managed to calm herself down after seeing that there were not any on her fair neck.
“At least he still has some common sense left in him.” Luo Yangyang touched the light bite marks on her collarbone. She figured she could cover them up if she wore a crew neck sweater.
Ten minutes after leaving Luo Yangyang in the bathroom, Feng Sheng went downstairs.
When he got downstairs, his father Feng Qiyue was already sitting at the dining table while reading the newspaper.
“Dad.” When Feng Sheng entered the dining room, his face was as ice-cold as usual. His expression did not change even though the person sitting there was his own father.
Feng Qiyue lifted his head from the newspaper. He looked at the expensive watch on his wrist after looking at Feng Sheng. “Why are you so late today?”
Feng Sheng’s warm eyes looked surprised.
It was 7:10 am. For the past 20 years, his eldest son had never come downstairs any later than 7 am. One can say that Feng Sheng would always appear in the dining room at 7 am on the dot, every day.
When he remembered why he came downstairs late, Feng Sheng’s eyebrows furrowed together slightly. “I didn’t sleep well last night,” he said as he sat next to Feng Qiyue without a hint of emotion on his face.
Feng Qiyue examined Feng Sheng curiously. He did not believe Feng Sheng’s explanation at all. Feng Sheng would never be late because he did not sleep well.
Though looking at Feng Sheng’s calm demeanor, Feng Qiyue could not think of a reason why Feng Sheng would make up excuses. In the end, Feng Qiyue just dropped the subject.
A little while after Feng Sheng sat down, he noticed someone walking out of the kitchen. When he turned around, he saw that it was Luo Ying. He nodded slightly and smiled before greeting her, “Aunty Luo, good morning.”
“Good morning.” When Luo Ying saw Feng Sheng, a warm motherly smile appeared on her face.
Even though Feng Sheng never addressed her as his mother, she could not help but love Feng Qiyue’s son like her own.
When she married Feng Qiyue, both their children had already grown up. It was normal for the children to feel hesitant about changing the way they addressed them. Yangyang did not want to call Feng Qiyue her father, and she understood that. Feng Qiyue was also rather understanding about the matter.
“Why is Yangyang not down yet?” Luo Ying only realized her daughter was missing from the table when she was about to sit down. How dare she let the whole family wait for her? After all, she was the youngest in the family. This child was getting ruder and ruder each day.
When Luo Yangyang reached the dining room, she heard her mother complaining about her. She walked in hurriedly and called out, “Mom.”
“Yangyang, come here. You’re the last one to arrive.” Luo Ying smiled gently and waved at Luo Yangyang, signaling her to sit beside her.
Luo Yangyang stood at the end of the dining table. She did not walk over immediately, but instead, she looked at the two other people who were looking at her.
Luo Yangyang looked at the amiable Feng Qiyue and greeted him, “Uncle, good morning.” Then, she looked at Feng Sheng who was staring at her coldly. She could feel her scalp going numb as she greeted him, “Bro, good morning.”
