Chapter 87: Anger Towards The Bandits
Chapter 87: Anger Towards The Bandits
[Julius: Everyone, good news. The vessel has finally appeared. Yes, you guessed it right. It's the same person that I thought was a walking gold mine. I never expected that he is actually the Vessel of the Greed Sin!]
"Oh..." Oso read the message of Julius in the party chat as a smile formed on his lips. "So that enormous Greed Energy came from that guy huh..."
Oso turned to see Gilbert, but it appeared that he still had yet to read the message of their leader in the party chat as he was furiously chasing after Izel. Knowing that it would be hard to stop this guy, Oso then retracted his gaze as he let him play with Izel for the time being. After which, he looked at the black dome ahead as he sped up. His curiosity about that thing was gaining more and more exp as time passed by. That said, he really wanted to know about it and see what could it do. But...
[Oso: Leader are you still fine? What's happening there? Do you perhaps, need any help?]
[Julius: F*ck. Good thing you ask. Where is Pael? When will he remove my paralysis status effect?]
[Oso: Izel sent him flying. So he will probably arrive a little late.]
[Julius: What? That bitch... Then, hurry up and give me some shield here. It's so creepy here. That guy is planning to feed me something. And since I cannot move right now, I can't retaliate at all.]
[Oso: But I don't know where exactly you are...]
[Julius: Just find me through my mana. I will release it now so hurry up and come here!]
[Oso: Alright. I'm already on my way. I'll be there outside of the dome in half a minute. Anyway, how much longer it is for your paralysis to wear off?]
[Julius: There's only more than a minute left. But even so, we cannot be complacent. I don't know if that guy can see me here but I feel that he is now walking in my direction. I can hear his footsteps and the rustle of grasses in the area he passed by.]
Although Julius' eyesight was blocked by darkness, as a High Ranker, even though he was not a hunter, his other senses were naturally much better than Low Rankers. And he could tell clearly that Sakim was already coming at him again.
[Oso: Alright.]
After sending his last message, Oso then dismissed the System. He focused on running as he got more and more closer to the black dome. And the closer he got, the more he got to understand what was that thing. He didn't know how but he felt that it was some kind of space distortion.
In any case, he would get to confirm it once he got close enough. Even though his ability wasn't related to space element, knowing if there was some kind of space distortion around him was still within his capability if he focused just enough. With that in mind, Oso continued to run.
[Agila: So leader, can I run away now?]
Agila sent a message in the party chat. Seeing Oso in the Wide Plains who was rushing towards their leader, and seeing as well their conversation in the party chat, he thought that he wasn't needed anymore.
Julius sent a thumbs-up.
[Agila: How about the Greed Stones...]
[Julius: Just hurry up and scram. Do you think I will go back in my words?!]
[Agila: Yes!]
Agila shuddered a bit reading the furious chat of their leader. He then hurried up and ran away as far as possible. Since their leader had said so, then he should at least trust him again.

"Damn it! That bitch is crazy." Pael gitted his teeth now that he was furiously running alone somewhere amidst the woods that he didn't even know where. He never thought that that bitch would throw him several kilometers away. He didn't even know how many times did he cursed Izel in his heart, thinking all kinds of punishment she must suffer. Even if she begged for forgiveness, Pael thought that she must really suffer this time.
However, while he was running at his top speed, something he didn't expect happened to him. He stumbled upon a group of people that made him stop. From the looks of it, there were about a dozen of them.
But what was terrifying was that this group of people wasn't just ordinary as Pael could tell that they were all Middle Rankers. Moreover, the moment he stumbled with them, they were already too close as the other party had immediately noticed his arrival.
"A bandit!" One person among the group blurted out when he saw Pael. The others turned to look at him with malicious intent.
Many players hated bandits or even robbers, much less, thieves. After all, they had done so many vile deeds in Zone 7: Gem Trader Game. Instead of playing peacefully to trade gems, they would rather rob traders they stumbled upon, causing war whenever they appeared. So even in the real world (Zone 1), many players would be naturally hostile to them.
With that being said, bandits didn't usually wear their costumes whenever they were in the real world. After all, even though it gave a huge buff in their stats, they would be hunted down by whoever capable they stumbled upon.
But this lone bandit dared to come at them? He must really be tired of living! They really wondered where did he get the courage to do so.
So even if they were busy searching for the vessel, that group of players had immediately tried to surround the bandit so to give him a good beating. They cracked their bones on their fists as they walked closer, ready to punch at any moment.
On the other hand, Pael was sweating profusely. Just why in the world was he so unlucky?
So knowing that he might really die if he stayed there any longer, he quickly used Angel's Wing to flee. After which, he was then covered in white light as his figure had disappeared in everyone's view.
"Damn it! He sure is quick at running away." Someone remarked coldly.
"Tsk, just let him be. He is just a small fry. There's the more important thing that we need to take care of." Another one said.
Everyone else nodded in agreement as each of them gave their own opinions. They must hurry and find the vessel because if others found him before them, it would really be a huge pity for them and to their family.
