Chapter 61: Where Is The Vessel?

Chapter 61: Where Is The Vessel?

"This..."

Sakim, whose consciousness was currently inside the moth, found it hard to believe in what he was experiencing. He didn't know if this was the normal thing that a moth could hear, but if his calculation was correct, he could hear everything in a radius of about 1 kilometer. Was he just imagining things?

At first, Sakim had just let the moth stay on his palm while he put his consciousness in it. He wanted to see how good was the hearing capability of this moth for real.

But now that he was on it, he didn't know if this was the real thing. After all, this hearing range was way too beyond his expectation.

Not only could he hear everything within 1 kilometer, but he could also hear even the squeak of an ant. The sounds produced in the said radius that were inaudible for him before, he could now hear them all very clearly.

Surely, this was not a normal moth usually hears. The moth he created had probably evolved according to his needs as its hearing was enhanced to a certain extent.

Sakim couldn't help but smile again. How could he not if he'd just created something very useful for him? His newly created skill: Blood Servant really didn't disappoint him but contrary to that, it gave him another surprise. This outcome could only make him happy.

But knowing that he already had enough time wasted for his enjoyment, Sakim thought that he should instead focus on his business. That said, he focused his hearing on the carriages ahead as he wanted to know what was it that the knights were possibly scheming. Even so, he really wished that he was just overthinking things.

Just like that, Sakim heard people talking with each other.

"They're still not here?"

"Huh? Why are you acting so impatient? Have you forgotten that this may be a blessing but it is also a threat for us?" Someone replied as if he was talking to a fool.

"Yes, Nognog is right. Although we will receive a bunch of rewards by informing the location of the vessel, we can't be sure if those bandits will go to their words or not." Someone responded grimly.

"Have you forgotten as well that the leader of those bandits is captain's big brother? Why would they go back on their words?"

"..."

There was a few moments of silence before Nognog responded, "Still, it didn't change the fact that they are bandits. And we all knew that bandits are a level above robbers. Meaning to say, trusting them is like hoping for Judas[1] to not betray us."

"..."

Another moment of silence triumphed among them making Sakim who heard their conversation frowned. From what he heard, these people were the knights on the second carriage next to where the captain was. And according to what he heard, these knights had leaked his location to someone likely to be a group of bandits. Just how precious was his location to be sold to the bandits?

And also, why would they do that to someone who saved them? For money? Treasure? Rewards? These knights had no integrity at all. Just by thinking about it could make Sakim deeply infuriated. He was even thinking that he should have killed these greedy bastards while they were still down and took away all their possessions.

But before Sakim could even get more furious, he heard another voice of which it was likely to come from the lips of the captain of the knights.

"Big brother, where are you now, we are about to arrive at the heartstone. You're still not going to show up?"

"I am about to come. I'd just found the exit of this damned Illusion Forest." Someone replied. This was actually the guy who he talked with previously.

"Oh? So you also can't exit that place easily even with your current level?" The captain was taken aback.

"This place is different. The level of illusion here resonates with the level of the player who is inside. That said, the level doesn't matter here." the big brother retorted coldly, annoyed, as he continued, "The others are still trapped inside and frustratingly searching for the exit."

"Alright, alright." The knight's captain chuckled hearing his annoyed big brother. "We'll wait for your arrival."

"Anyway, the two bitches are already out a long time ago. Are they still not there?"

"What? I don't know. I don't see anyone coming though." The captain of the knights drew out his head outside the window to check if someone had already arrived only to see nothing strange. "Maybe, they are still on t..he... way..."

However, to his horror, just after he said those words, and just after he retracted his head from the window, he found two beauties sitting inside the carriage he was in. They were looking at him with an alluring smile making his heart hasten its beat.

The knight's captain then swallowed a mouthful of saliva before he said with a somewhat stuttered voice, "I-i think, t-they are here."

"Oh..." the big brother only smiled upon hearing it. "Alright, give me a moment, I'll arrive there soon. I'll hang up."

The knight's captain only nodded before the hologram screen in front of him disappeared. He then forced a smile at the two beauties in front of him as he said, "You two are?"

Both of them were wearing black clothes that showed how slim and voluptuous their body was. It covered their entire body leaving only their white skin on the head part to be exposed. And the knight's captain could immediately tell that it was the bandit's costume.

One of them had dark blue hair that flowed all the way her back. While the other one had crimson hair that was tied like a ponytail. The same as the color of their hair was their eyes that gave both warmth and coldness. It was as if those eyes were inviting you to stare at them with warmth, but what they could only give was demise that could cause a chill.

The knight's captain shook his head frenziedly. He didn't dare to stare at the two beauties by his side as he was afraid that something bad would happen to him.

Seeing this, the two beauties chuckled softly while elegantly covering their mouth with their slender hand. However, not long after that, the vibes they gave off suddenly changed. The atmosphere became heavy as the two beauties looked at the knight's captain seriously.

With a cold voice, the one with blue hair asked, "So where is the vessel?"

The knight's captain swallowed a mouthful of saliva as cold sweats appeared on his forehead. He felt the other party could kill him easily even with just a flick of her finger.
