Senior Sister, Shut Up!

Chapter 15: Boss, Help!

Jiang Miao raced down the stairs to the fourth floor.

But to his surprise, he couldn’t catch up to Chen Haoshang. Is he rushing to reincarnate or something? He just dropped his suitcase and left without making a sound. What’s the matter with him?

Fortunately, when he arrived at the lobby on the first floor, he saw Chen Haoshang’s slender and dark figure.

But it wasn’t because he ran fast and caught up but because Chen Haoshang was stopped.

And it was by a girl.

The girl was petite and looked even younger than Senior Sister Qi. Her entire body seemed tense, and her two small hands were tightly gripping the hem of Chen Haoshang’s clothes, her clean little face showing a determined expression.

“Haoshang… we don’t need to rush…” The girl’s soft voice and petite appearance gave the impression of a timid yet brave little antelope in front of Chen Haoshang. “The military training starts tomorrow. Your body won’t be able to take it… We can wait until after the military training…”

“Why are you so annoying?” Although Chen Haoshang was dark and thin, he was very tall, especially in front of the small antelope-like girl, whom he was almost two heads taller. His face was full of impatience.

“Um… Chen Haoshang?” Although the atmosphere didn’t seem right, Jiang Miao still interrupted. “If you have something to do, can you join the class group chat before leaving?”

Chen Haoshang ignored him and effortlessly grabbed the girl’s slender wrists with one hand. With a little force, she let go in pain. He then pushed her aside, strode over to an electric scooter, and started it.

The girl lost her balance and didn’t even have time to stabilize herself before she watched Chen Haoshang speed away.

“Oh…” The antelope-like girl’s eyes were brimming with tears. She blinked, and her gaze landed on Jiang Miao. As though something had occurred to her, she ran over and asked softly, “Excuse me, are you Haoshang’s classmate?”

“Oh, I’m his roommate.” Jiang Miao scratched his head helplessly as he watched Chen Haoshang’s departing figure. “What’s the matter with him?”

“He… he…” The girl, possibly running out of courage, stammered as she tried to speak. She finally held her breath and managed to say, “He’s actually a really good person. It’s just… it’s just…”

Just what? Jiang Miao didn’t know, but what he knew was that Chen Haoshang, who had already driven off, suddenly turned around and rushed back on his electric scooter after seeing them talking.

“… You’re not his girlfriend, are you?” Jiang Miao asked curiously before Chen Haoshang arrived.

“Huh?!” The antelope-like girl blushed at the sudden question, feeling as though she was about to die of embarrassment. Her small hands flailed wildly in front of her chest, and her head shook vigorously. “N-no, I’m not…”

With a reaction like that, even if she says no… Jiang Miao laughed as he watched Chen Haoshang pull up his electric scooter behind the girl. Without a word, he picked her up and plopped her onto the back seat.

“Ah!” The antelope-like girl yelped in surprise and closed her eyes in fright. After seeing who it was, she immediately hugged Chen Haoshang tightly. “Y-you scared me to death…”

“You’re holding me too tight,” Chen Haoshang said coldly.

“Oh…” The girl reluctantly loosened her grip, but she still held him tightly, unwilling to let go completely.

“Um…” Jiang Miao took out his phone and handed it to Chen Haoshang. “Let’s add you to the class group chat first?”

This time, Chen Haoshang didn’t refuse, but he still couldn’t be bothered to talk to him. He quickly took out his phone, scanned the QR code, and then rode off on his electric scooter.

An aloof guy and a shy girl… Jiang Miao held his phone, clicked on his notes app, and typed with relish. And it’s the cutest height difference. Defintely a lock.

As for whether Chen Haoshang was polite or not, it didn’t matter much to him.

As long as his roommates didn’t hinder him from writing in the room, it didn’t matter what their personalities were.

“Brother Jiang, where’s that guy?” Xun Liang, walking in front of Wang Xin, also came downstairs. Seeing Jiang Miao waiting alone at the door, he asked curiously, “Didn’t you catch up?”

“I caught up, but he seemed to have something to do with his girlfriend and left again.” Jiang Miao spread his hands. “Looks like it’ll just be the three of us for dinner.”

Xun Liang: “???”

Girlfriend? How can that kind of guy have a girlfriend?!

Xiuye Commons was quite far from the school, but it was only a street away from the bustling Baolong Commercial Street in the south.

Jiang Miao and the other two found a restaurant nearby and ordered a table of dishes. They each downed a can of beer, and under Xun Liang’s lively atmosphere, their relationship became closer.

Although Wang Xin didn’t say much, under Xun Liang’s lead, he was forced to fight back by calling him “dog” in return.

“Do you guys play any games? PUBG, Honor of Kings, LOL, Overwatch, or CSGO?” Xun Liang asked while munching on a piece of pork rib.

Wang Xin shook his head. “I don’t play games.”

“Boring guy.” Xun Liang pushed him playfully and then looked at Jiang Miao. “What about you, Brother Jiang?”

“Sometimes I play Honor of Kings, but I don’t really play the others.”

“What about other things? Do you follow any dramas or anime? Or read novels?”

Jiang Miao was a bit surprised. “You read novels?”

“What’s wrong with reading novels?” Xun Liang replied casually. He took out his phone, opened the Xidian reading app, and showed him his book list. “Look, I’m following more than ten books, and that’s not even counting the ones I’m waiting to finish.”

Jiang Miao leaned over curiously and saw several different categories.

[Long and Satisfying], [Farming], [Xianxia], [Angst], [Romance], [Supernatural]…

Because he wrote romance novels himself, he was particularly sensitive to this. He reached out and clicked on Xun Liang’s [Romance] category.

And there it was—the fourth book was My Girlfriend Is a Content Creator!

Fuck! Jiang Miao’s expression changed drastically, and he started coughing, feeling his heart beating wildly.

“Hey… why are you having such a big reaction?” Xun Liang was speechless. “What’s wrong with guys reading romance novels?”

Even Wang Xin looked over and glanced at Xun Liang’s romance reading list.

“My Wife is a Movie Queen; Wife, Please Take Care; When I was Secretly Kissed by a Goddess During the Time Freeze; My Girlfriend Is a Content Creator…” Wang Xin read out the titles one by one in all seriousness, but his expression gradually became more and more strange.

“Stop, stop, stop!” Xun Liang quickly cut him off. “Why are you saying them out so loudly?”

“Didn’t you say there’s nothing wrong with guys reading these?”

“Yeah, but you can’t just go around announcing the titles!” Xun Liang turned his head to look around and heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that no one was paying attention. Otherwise, even with his thick skin, he wouldn’t be able to handle the embarrassment.

Wang Xin shook his head. “Dog Food, this nickname isn’t wrong. It’s very fitting.”

“True.” Jiang Miao nodded in agreement and barely recovered from his horror. The way he looked at his roommate changed a little.

While their relationship was not that deep, he should find a chance to deal with Xun Liang…

Otherwise, if his identity were ever exposed, he would be the one to die…

Just the thought of it sent shivers down his spine.

Too terrifying.

[Peach Jam]: Boss, help! I can’t live happily anymore… My roommate is actually reading my novel!
