Chapter 60 - Unfamiliar Emotions
Tania was sleeping on the edge of the couch in a way that if she moved, even a little, then she would fall to the floor. And she did.
She opened her eyes and glanced around with a confused look on her face, as though she was wondering what caused her to fall and wake up.
She looked at the clock on the wall and saw it was nearly midnight.
"I should go and sleep in my room," she muttered in a low voice.
She could barely keep her eyes open.
She went to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. As she was drinking, Leon's hot venom dripped from her cave.
"I will take a bath tomorrow…"
She touched her cave and muttered, "Is it okay to be horny all the time? And is it normal to have so much sex?"
No, it wasn't normal.
The only reason Leon and Tania had so much energy for sex is that Leon was superhuman, so he hardly got tired. And Tania had OCD, and she was obsessed with something she liked. Tania loved sex, and that's why she wanted to do it all the time.
Tania was the only girl who could sate Leon's libido. Even Layla had a hard time satisfying Leon.
Tania remembered what happened some hours ago.
After their final session, Leon left, and Tania locked the door. She planned to clean the room where Leon was staying because there was blood all over the floor, and it was stinking. But she ended up falling asleep on the couch.
Tania yawned and placed the bottle in the fridge again.
CLANK!
Suddenly, a noise came from Tania's room.
Tania immediately crouched down and grabbed a knife from the platform.
'What was that?! I am sure I locked the door. Did someone break in?' Tania wondered.
She peeked from the kitchen and saw the door of her room was creak-open.
Tania slowly moved forward while crouching and made sure not to make any noises. She reached the door of her room and heard a rustling sound.
She peeked further in from the door and saw someone was looking through her closet. She couldn't see the intruder's face or body because the open closet was blocking her view.
Tania stealthily made her way in and got behind the intruder without making any noise. Then, she immediately dashed and stabbed the intruder with the knife, or so would have happened if Tania hadn't noticed the intruder's clothes.
It was Leon.
However, Tania had already stabbed the knife on his neck, but it was only the tip.
"Oh no! I am sorry!" Tania threw the knife and placed her hand on Leon's wound. "I am so sorry!" she apologized with an anxious and concerned look on her face.
"Don't worry." Leon removed Tania's hand from his neck and said, "I am okay."
Tania's eyes winded after seeing Leon's wound was already healed.
"What are you doing here?! What if I had stabbed you somewhere else?!" Tania yelled.
"You were sleeping, so I didn't wake you up. And I am here to look for something," Leon replied.
Tania gasped and said, "Don't tell me you are here to rob me? I told you, I don't have any cash—"
"No. I am here to get the photo you were talking about."
"Oh!" Tania exclaimed and said, "It's not here. I keep my important stuff somewhere safe."
After Leon left Tania's apartment in the evening, he went straight to the cyber cafe. There, he searched for the police department in the city and later got the information about the officer who shot Leon in the back.
Unfortunately, he couldn't find his address, and it was obvious. So, Leon called the police department using a telephone booth and asked to talk with the officer.
However, they didn't forward Leon's call to that officer. So, Leon had no choice but to camp near the police department and wait for that officer to come out.
Leon waited for three hours, but the officer did not come out. That's why, Leon did something he should have done a long time ago.
He leaked the gas from the nearest gas station and exploded it.
Naturally, the fire department, medical department, and police department went to the scene to investigate.
When the officer was investigating, Leon got into the officer's car and got the address.
For some reason, detective L was nowhere to be seen.
Leon wanted to get detective L's address, too, as he was Leon's must-kill target. But he couldn't find any lead regarding detective L.
Then, Leon remembered the photo he had accidentally taken with him. That was the only way for Leon to get some information about detective L, so he decided to go back to Tania's apartment. But it was locked.
Leon could have easily broken the door with his superpowers, but he didn't want to trouble Tania more than he had already done. So, Leon used lock picking.
It took him a while to pick the lock, but he eventually got in.
The first thing he saw after entering Tania's apartment was his venom on the floor.
When Tania went to close the door, she didn't care about anything and fell asleep. And that was the reason why Leon didn't want to wake Tania up.
When Leon saw Tania sleeping naked on the couch, his snake turned into an anaconda. He wanted to r*pe Tania, but he had something more important to do.
For Leon, killing was still more important than sex.
After that, Leon went into Tania's room. He searched in her closet, and that's when Tania woke up and mistook him as an intruder.
"So, where is the photo?" Leon asked with a groan.
Tania turned around and said, "Follow me."
Tania left the room and went to the kitchen.
"..." Leon raised his brows and asked, "So your kitchen is the safest place in your apartment?"
"No. But psychology says that if you leave something important in plain sight, there is a low chance for someone to find it." Tania said as she handed the photo to Leon.
Leon removed the dirt from the photo and said, "Don't talk psychology with—"
His face turned pale after looking at the photo. His hands trembled with unfamiliar emotions, and his face showed visible confusion.
"Why…"
