Second Marriage: My Strongest Bodyguard

Chapter 22 - Still A Play

Bryana immediately took her arm around Dean when Tania, the boutique owner, was choosing a tuxedo for her bodyguard.

"Sorry, Dean, I was so presumptuous about acting without asking for your consent," she then said with an awkward look.

"It's okay, Jill, but was that man your ex-husband?" asked Dean while remembering Alex.

Bryana sighed, then sat in the waiting chair which was available on four chairs that were neatly lined up near a window.

"Yes he is my ex-husband, he wanted to take Calvin away from me on the pretext that he already has a new wife who can take care of Calvin, he will make my job an excuse not to believe I can take good care for Calvin."

"But you're not like that," said Dean with a look of pity at Bryana.

"What do you mean?" Bryana frowned.

."You are a good mother and there is always time for Calvin even though you are very busy," explained Dean with a warm smile, wishing that the woman in front of him would be the mother for his daughter.

for a moment Dean was lost in the delusion and then he felt as if he had been hit by a reminder hammer so that he would not get too far with his mistress.

Bryana sighed and then heard Tania's footsteps from the right in the boutique. She immediately took Dean's hand back then glanced and winked at her bodyguard. "We have to play again, because we have already," she whispered.

Tania smiled at Bryana and Dean. "Ah, Bryana. You won't even let go of your future husband again after wearing this tuxedo, the colors and fabrics are very comfortable and guaranteed by ORIGINAL. "

"Really? Then let him try on." Bryana took an black tuxedo with a very soft and thick cloth, then gave it to Dean saying, "Honey, try this one. It seems, it meets your taste criteria."

Dean smiled stiffly then took the tuxedo. "Okay, I'll try to wear it."

Dean immediately walked to the locker room carrying the tuxedo with a feeling of chaos and he smiled amusedly remembering Bryana's sudden ridiculousness made him like a future husband.

'What if I become a real husband for her? Ah, it was probably just a dream because I was so unequal for her. Even the price of this tuxedo is double of my salary,' Dean thought as he stared at the tuxedo he was going to wear.

Dean immediately took off the tuxedo suit he had been trying on before then replaced it with the tuxedo the boutique owner chose. He was shirtless watching his stocky body in the mirror while wearing the black tuxedo suit.

Bryana, who was waiting outside with Tania, was chatting about her relationship with Dean. She did not expect to be trapped acting with the boutique owner as well, even though it was not important, but it was already done and would be embarrassed if she revealed that she was only acting.

"Is your future husband from among the nobility? He's more handsome than Alex and muscular. You are very good at finding a replacement for Alex." Tania smiles praising Bryana.

Bryana only responded with a chuckle. "Ahahaha ... don't overdo it. I just happened to bump into him during a CEO meeting in Bali and he was very interested in me. "

"You are very lucky and Alex is not. I just saw him here with his new wife who turned out to be just a model who is good at looking for sensations, "said Tania sarcastically imagining when Alex and his wife had just come and chose clothes but didn't buy them.

"Ah yes, I also saw it earlier. They're a great match," Bryana replied with a wry smile. 'Match because they're both traitors,' she thought irritably.

While still chatting, Bryana and Tania's gaze diverted to Dean who had just come out of the locker room wearing a tuxedo of her choice. the man really looks handsome, dignified and looks so respectable like a conglomerate.

For a moment Bryana was amazed to see Dean who really looked different from usual. 'Is this really my bodyguard? No wonder everyone said he deserves to be my future husband. He's very handsome and muscular, ' she thought with admiration, imagining that maybe underneath the tuxedo there is a six pack stomach.

"Is there something wrong with me?" Dean asked, raising his eyebrows as he looked at Tania and Bryana who were fascinated by him.

"Oh God! You have to buy this tuxedo, because it fits perfectly in your body, " Tania exclaimed and then glanced at Bryana, who was still stunned by Dean's good looks. "Even your future wife didn't blink just to see you wearing this tuxedo."

Bryana snapped out of her reverie and immediately walked over to Dean. "You look perfect, Honey. I'll buy this for you."

Dean shook his head saying, "No need because I don't ...."

"It suits you so well, honey, you should wear it when we go to Soraya's wedding, and let me buy this for you because you bought me a luxury bag yesterday."Bryana interrupted before Dean said he couldn't afford that expensive tuxedo or he'd be found out if he was just a bodyguard and for sure Tania would sneer down on him.

Dean sighed, staring uncomfortably at Bryana as if her heart was saying, 'don't be too nice to me or I'll like you even more.'

Bryana immediately approached Tania again to ask for the price of the tuxedo and then immediately paid for it. He asked Dean to put on the tuxedo and asked for a paper bag to wrap Dean's bodyguard clothes that had been worn earlier. Incidentally when he just arrived and was still wearing bodyguard clothes, Tania didn't see him.

Bryana and Dean immediately came out of the boutique holding hands together until they had to be separated when they got to the car. They went up and returned to the office because it was time to get back to work.

During the trip, Dean glanced at the paper bag containing his bodyguard clothes and felt uncomfortable because wearing a very expensive tuxedo. he really feels bad and doesn't deserve to come back to the office wearing different and so classy clothes, surely the employees will misunderstand and think he is taking advantage of Bryana's kindness.

"Jill," Dean called while turning his head to look at Bryana who was daydreaming while staring at the view from behind the windshield.

"Why?" Bryana asked, somewhat surprised.

"Em, we better stop for a moment. I have to change these clothes to my uniform clothes earlier," said Dean a little doubtfully.

Bryana sighed and rolled her eyes. "Why do you have to change, wearing that alone won't be a problem because the tuxedo suit is yours."

"But, the employees will misunderstand," said Dean with an uncomfortable look as he continued to focus on driving.

"Huh, just take this as an order. You have to keep that tuxedo because there's no time to stop just to get changed."Bryana chuckled irritably at Dean's being too innocent and uncomfortable with his attitude.

"But, Jill ...."

"Never mind, just use it. don't refuse or we're not friends anymore!" Bryana exclaimed a little harshly and then looked away. She was still thinking about Alex taking Calvin away from her. 'If I don't have a husband and keep busy working, Calvin will be taken by Alex. if I get married maybe everything will be safe, but with whom?'

Bryana felt confused and turned her head to glance at Dean, who was now focused on driving without daring to argue with his rules again.

Bryana smiled while biting her lower lip when she realized that his bodyguard already looked like a big boss who deserved to be side by side with her. Okay, is she going to propose to Dean?

"It's impossible," Bryana muttered very softly.

"What's impossible?" asked Dean because he heard what Bryana said.

"Nothing," Bryana replied and then looked away again by staring at the window.. 'There's no way a woman proposes a man, I have to make you propose to me and fall in love with me!' her mind began to admit the desire to get her bodyguard.
