Chapter 11: Arrangements

Chapter 11: Arrangements

The sound of the door opening again pulled Coven's thoughts back to reality.

He immediately emptied his mind and turned his gaze empty. Then, Coven turned to look in the direction of the door.

"Oh... poor child." The female doctor walked into the ward and quickly came to Coven's bed, and she looked at Coven with pity in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, doctor." Robert Heimer said apologetically, "My job is too urgent."

"This is a lesson." The doctor turned around and said, and then she turned back and continued to complain, "This child just experienced those terrible things. You should wait for him to recover before you start working."

"Sorry..." Robert Heimer apologized again.

"Give it to the child." The doctor took out a small glass bottle from his pocket and handed it to Coven. "Child, your current mental state is not suitable for thinking too much. Drink this bottle of spirit recovery medicine and continue to sleep."

Coven was like a marionette. With a wooden expression, he raised his hand to take the medicine bottle and drank it.

The medicine was good. Even though Coven had just woken up, he still quickly felt sleepy.

He did not resist. Not long after lying down, he fell asleep...

When he woke up again, according to the light in the room, it was morning. Because he had been in a coma and sleeping for too long, the refreshed Coven reflexively raised his hand and stretched.

However, before he could stretch himself, he saw a figure from the corner of his eyes that made Coven suddenly freeze.

"It seems that you slept well."

On the chair next to the bed sat a somewhat sloppy old man. He had snow-white and messy hair, silver-white eyes, a dark brown old jacket, and a similarly dark brown old scarf around his neck.

"You, you are..." Coven immediately went online and quickly retracted his hand into the quilt. His expression showed vigilance, panic, and fear.

The sloppy old man had a complicated expression on his face. After a moment of silence, he said in a low voice, "I am Ollivander... Garrick Ollivander."

"M-Mr. Ollivander..." Coven replied softly, "I am... Coven Quinn."

"Yes, Mr. Quinn..." Ollivander muttered in a deep voice before falling silent.

A moment later, Ollivander took a deep breath and continued, "First of all... I have to apologize."

Coven did not respond. Ollivander seemed to have no intention of waiting for a response. Instead, he continued, "He is my younger brother. Of course, not a fellow brother. Although he was punished for his death, I still have to apologize for what you have suffered."

"You... are you talking about that person?" Coven was suddenly enlightened, but he responded carefully.

"Yes." Ollivander nodded heavily and continued, "The bad guy who abandoned the traditional skills of the family, the guy who went astray to become a Death Eater! Oh, sorry, I shouldn't have said dirty words in front of you."

"..." Coven found it difficult to answer.

"Let's not talk about that anymore. In short..." Ollivander rubbed his hands on his face to ease the discomfort caused by the long period of depression. He continued, "The people from the Ministry of Magic informed me about you. I am the only relative of that bad guy, so I have decided to compensate you."

"..." Coven was still unable to reply.

Olivander seemed to have never thought about how Coven would respond, so he continued, "I am running a shop in Diagon Alley. I can still live there after cleaning it up. In the future, you can stay there until you graduate."

"And your tuition fees and vacation expenses..." As if his mind was disturbed by so many miscellaneous things, Olivander, who did not want to continue, concluded, "In short, if you agree, come with me to the Ministry of Magic to settle the adoption procedures after you are discharged. Child, do you agree?"

"I..." Coven spat out a word and fell silent.

'I am now an eleven-year-old child. This will decide whether I should be independent or not...'

Noticing Coven's silence, Ollivander finally shifted his attention back. He suddenly realized Coven's age and shook his head slightly. "Well, you will understand when you grow up in the future. So just follow my decision now."

After that, Ollivander turned around, picked up a set of clothes from the bedside table, and handed it to Coven.

"Put it on, child," "The doctor said that you can leave the hospital when you wake up. Now we will go to the Ministry of Magic to register, and then I have to hurry back to the store for business as soon as possible. I can't let those wands miss any of their masters."

"Yes, yes, Mr. Ollivander." Coven took the clothes with some restraint, lifted the quilt, and began to put them on.

The clothes had trousers, small leather shoes, shirts, thin sweaters, and other than the beige shirt, they were all coffee-colored, which showed how much Ollivander liked dark colors.

After putting on the clothes, Coven was led out of the ward by Ollivander and went downstairs to handle the discharge formalities.

In fact, there were no formalities. He just greeted the attending doctor and informed the employees of the discharge department. Obviously, the treatment fees had already been appropriately arranged.

The two of them walked out of a glass door and saw the downtown area of London. Coven turned around and found that the original hospital had become an old-fashioned red-brick multi-goods store. There was a sign of suspension on the door. Overall, it looked like an abandoned haunted house. After looking at it for a long time, one would feel a chill on their back.

Seeing Coven stop and look back, Olivander was not puzzled. Instead, he explained, "Adult wizards enter the hospital through the fireplace. It is easy for Little wizards to encounter accidents when they use the fireplace, so they can only go through this door with their family members."

"The fireplace..." Coven murmured. There seemed to be a vague concept in his memory, but he really did not pay attention to the "Harry Potter" series in the beginning. Moreover, when he checked the information, it was a Chinese version. Now that he said it in English unless he saw the real thing, Coven could only be confused.

"Alright, child, we should go." Ollivander interrupted Coven and took out his wand, and he raised it as if he was calling a taxi and said, "Remember this way of calling a taxi. If you want to walk in Muggle World in the future, do it like me."

Coven was a little confused. He looked at Olivander, who was posing, and then turned to look at the two ends of the street.

Just as he was about to ask, he suddenly noticed something out of the corner of his eye...
