Chapter 871: National Unrest
Chapter 871: National Unrest
While the Yao Family were suffering inside the cells of their own dungeon, the world outside was proceeding as normal.
At least, that was how it looked at first view, as many people and organizations were getting worried and dubious about Huaxia.
After all, their spies and trained cooperators seemed to have changed mind in but one night, and every bit of information at the highest level was blocked.
It looked like one fine morning all these spies, cooperators, and moles had woke up and decided to become fully loyal to their country.
Even the second rank spies and moles they sent were either captured and killed, or lost all contact with, and this made a lot of people mad.
After all, in these dangerous times where wars could erupt at any moment, and when the whole planet was just like a pressure cooker, something like this was a great happening and situation.
No one could ignore something like this, because it looked like Huaxia was actually becoming one and was showing its teeth to the rest of the world.
While most of the peak organizations were multinational, their genesis was still from one country, and they still held a special intention, thought, and ideal for their country.
Seeing how Huaxia had suddenly turned hostile to all of them, they couldn't allow something like this to happen.
The problem was that the cut of the information was a big blow to their fight before it even began, so they would have to look through all the previous information they had to come up with a theory.
This was all they could do at the moment, as Huaxia's blockage of information was just too good! It seemed like their spies, moles, and cooperators didn't have a good time either.
There was one point in common that all of these organizations' leaders thought though, the figure behind all this was thought to be the ex-Leader of Huaxia.
That guy was not only capable, but also extremely greedy, and talented in politics. While they didn't understand how he had pulled this off, it certainly hadn't been easy.
None of them could doubt a shady and smokey figure like the Patriarch of the Shadow Clan, Tianlong Yun.
All their thoughts, ideas, and theories were built with that in mind, as they started thinking about countermeasures next.
A head-on fight was the most foolish choice of the moment, as it would most certainly work counterproductively at them.
Not only would they be hitting a plate without knowing of what material was made, but they might even force the Families in Huaxia to join and unite against the enemies.
Their only choice at the moment seemed to be empowering the people they backed in the country and trying to cause unrest.
Using them as cannon fodder to find out about the enemy's strength, and at the same time understand a bit more about the current situation.
In the worst-case scenario their Ancestors would make a move, and either kick Huaxia down a notch or destroy them once and for good.
The ones to feel the pressure and burning the most were no other but EITS. After all, they had sent quite a few of their own experts to take advantage of the situation through the Yao Family.
Yet not only wasn't there any news from them, but even their parasites had died, meaning that they had died as well.
Knowing the power of the people they had sent towards the Yao Family, and also the power of the Yao Family itself, they couldn't help but find this even weirder and difficult to handle.
Their first thought was to send more of their experts to investigate, search, and understand what had happened, but the problem was that no one seemed willing to help them out.
They needed to pay quite some money, and time in order to finally find someone that was willing to take them in and was no one else but a long forgotten son of Second Master Yao.
Even though he had no idea what had happened back home, he felt that with the identity of the Young Master of the Yao Family things would be pretty simple.
Not to mention that his family was already in cahoots with the organization, and his work would just put him in more perspective, and he might return home.
Not only that but he would even have more standing and importance when he did, and he might even be able to teach those other bastards a good lesson.
As this guy quickly took this path, whole Huaxia started burning in rumors and conspiracy theories.
'The Leader is trying to take full control!'
'The Leader wants to become the Emperor!'
'The Leader treats people's lives like grass!'
'The Leader wants to start the Third World War!'
'The Leader is a lunatic vying for World Domination!'
That and many more rumors started spreading all around the country, and the world, as more and more people were thinking of making a stand.
With the advance in science and technology, and especially the internet, Huaxia and more accurately the rumors about the Leader of Huaxia became trending.
The whole world seemed to be discussing those rumors, and every one had their own ideas and thoughts on the situation.
One thing was in common though, normal mortal humans seemed to be screaming about peace, and democracy.
It was a world outrage on the internet, and on social media, and was being discussed on all national TVs and news.
The most surprising part was that this had happened only in less than 3 days. The whole world had started boiling in three days, as many countries were threatened with sanctions.
One could see the means and influence of these organizations throughout the whole planet, and their firm grip on it.
Unfortunately, these plans were bound to get thwarted, as on the fourth day a piece of news that completely destroyed all rumors was made public.
The Leader of Huaxia had been assassinated!
The assassin was a foreigner, and due to the quick-acting of the guards, he had been captured alive, and thwarted in his suicide attempt, and was currently being interrogated.
The citizen would be kept updated with every information regarding the assassin, and its collaborators.
There was no longer a Leader of Huaxia in place, as the big Families, and the Parliament members would gather as soon as possible to select another one.
With the great attention stacked up on Huaxia, the whole Earth planet was thrown into another drama and plot.
The same people that were cursing and intending to stand up the previous days, started feeling pity for the guy, as they discussed who might be the ones that sent the assassin.
They weren't the only ones, as even the leaders of the powerful organizations weren't able to understand, or have any information about who did it, and could only speculate.
One thing was for certain though, as their original work, and intentions had been completely thwarted, and they no longer had an idea of what was going on.
Of course, they wouldn't believe the rumor without evidence and even more so without a body, but when the body appeared in front of the whole country, and no one was able to call it fake, they had no choice but to accept it.
They had been bested this time! And what was more important, was that they still had no idea who was moving behind the scenes and made this happen!
With this complex and shitty situation in place, they could only choose to wait up and see what would happen next, before they made a decisive move.
Just because they didn't have any intention to fight though, it didn't mean that Tianlong Yun had no intention to fight also.
In fact, he was rearing to return the courtesy and start a fire in the enemy's backyard as well, as he released a pirate video of the 'Assassin' admitting to the deed and giving information about the employer.
The information wasn't much though, as he just said these exact same words,
"When the eye wants to see someone dead, then he will die!"
Of course, most people would think that this 'assassin' guy would be some sort of lunatic or psycho who had killed their Leader due to his perverted views.
But for the people on the top, those words were like a big bomb, as they all understood what the 'eye' meant, and moreover, they were only some of the few who could pull this off.
After all, who didn't know about the strength of Huaxia and its protectors, even if the Leader wasn't at the peak yet, he was still a great expert.
So, only something like this could actually justify his death, and the attention of all the big organizations were directed towards EITS.
Of course, EITS had no intention of accepting to the crime, but the problem was that there was extra backing evidence.
There was a video of the 'assassin' entering Huaxia illegally, and more importantly, there were images of him wearing an EITS uniform. Worse he was the son of a great general of EITS.
He was sent to Huaxia as part of the experts' team they sent to investigate the matter with the Yao Family, only to end up in this situation.
While the whole planet was boiling under the newest tempest, Tianlong Yun was enjoying a relaxing tea while he played with a few of his bastard father's women.
He had found out that while these weren't the best, they weren't bad either. At least they could help him keep his lust under control
