Rise Of The Hoarder

Chapter 264 Satisfaction

“I don’t… I don’t want to die! Save me, you bastards! Jeremy, you little bastard! Melissa, you bitch! Save me! I don’t wanna di—”

Before Daniel could complete his sentence, a Demon chomped off his head, causing his lifeless body, what was left of it anyway, to collapse in a splosh.

The pool of dark blood had already formed a pool underneath, and the lump of meat that once represented the Camp’s Trump Card, Daniel… was no more!

“He’s dead…” I mumbled, seeing as the Demons even scrambled for the last parts of him.

I turned my vision to the girl who simply watched in cowardice. Her expression was full of horror and disgust, but she had no choice but to keep looking.

“You could have helped him, but chose not to… it shows what kind of person you are, Melissa.”

I heard her sniff and whisper something akin to a ‘no’ once I began barraging her with guilt.

“You may look at me now. Speak your mind.”

“I-it’s not my fault!” Melissa’s head sharply turned as she looked at me with crazed eyes.

They were bloodshot, thanks to the tears that flowed from her eyes and the immense concentration she used up in watching Daniel. From her rushed speech and bulging eyes, the once pretty girl resembled a person drowned in insanity..

“I-I just want to live! I can’t die, not yet! I’ll survive, no matter what!”

Saliva poured out of her lips and her face became distorted, transforming into her ugly and absolutely self-centered persona. Just watching as she gave millions of excuses made a gleam of amusement emerge from my observant eye.

“It’s too bad… this is the end of the line for you too.”

The moment I said this, her words ceased and she looked at me with surprise written all over her face.

“E-eh? B-but you said I’m free to do as I wish… a-and that—”

“Oh? That still hasn’t changed. But, you see… I want to end things as soon as possible. This is the last phase.”

Melissa’s face was still showing me that she couldn’t completely comprehend my words.

“Undo your barrier.”

Instantly, the girl obeyed my voice and the pink layer around us vanished.

“You’re free to do anything from here on out… except using your barrier. You can run, fight, cry… it doesn’t matter.”

Finally, the girl began comprehending her situation.

“God, no! Please… please don’t!” She begged, looking at me frantically as we could both hear the growls of the Demons who were already finished with Daniel.

“Come on. You should be celebrating… you’re free from me! Isn’t that what you wanted?” My sadistic grin curled up even more.

“N-no! No! I don’t want that! Please let me remain by your side!” The girl shamelessly clung to me.

It was as if she had forgotten how I had just violated her not too long ago.

Her face now screamed of nothing but her desperate drive to survive.

Unfortunately for her… I didn’t care!

“Why should I help you? What’s in it for me?” My hands pushed her away as I started creating some distance between the both of us.

“I-I… I will… I will do anything! Please!” Melissa’s voice began growing even more desperate as she seemed to notice the pack of monsters already approaching her.

She couldn’t use her Gift thanks to my domination over her too.

“Y-you can have your way with me anytime you want! Please! I’ll do anything! I’ll endure anything! Please, I’ll bark if you want me to! I’ll be your bitch, just please!!!”

Tears and snot run down her face now and the beauty she once had was nowhere to be seen.

“That indeed is a tempting offer…” I smiled, giving a sadistic gleam in my eyes.

I could use her as a sex toy to carry out whatever twisted fantasy I had in my head. Healing her was going to be simple, and I could just keep her in [Subspace] was I was done with her.

It wasn’t a bad idea. But…

“… No! I really want to watch you die instead.” I gave her my sweet, innocent smile.

“Jeremy, you bastarrr—” Melissa screamed, her hands outstretched as she seemed to desire to rip me to shreds.

Unfortunately for the girl, the Demons had already caught up with her.

>CHOMP!< Her legs were consumed in an instant.

“Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!” A deafening scream proceeded from Melissa’s mouth.

She didn’t even get the luxury of completely feeling the agony of losing one of her limbs when the other bite came to tear off her arm.

“Guarghhhhhh!!!”

More screams followed as the Demons dragged her squirming body to their group and feasted on her body, causing her to lose her mind, and everything else in the process.

Blood splattered everywhere, and soon after, the girl died.

“They’re both dead now, uh?” I muttered, looking at what little remnants of their bodies remained.

Satisfaction and closure played in my heart and I nodded at the expected end of the whole thing. I had achieved the desired result!

Viewing the sight below, I could see the Hobgoblin Champions walking aimlessly, like Zombies. Using the <Recall> Skill, they returned to [Subspace], except the ones atop the penthouse with me as well as the ones within the Camp building.

After watching them get their fill of satisfaction and entertainment, I had to at least kill them in return for providing them with this much.

Of course, saving some for later was good, but I already had more than enough within [Subspace]. The rest just had to die and prove to be extra EXP for me.

“Well, I probably don’t need to stress too much. I can just use <Automatic Summon> to take care of them.

All the Gifteds in the area had been killed, I could sense that much, so there was no worry about killing my fellow humans.

‘Haaa, I’m in quite a good mood after that round of entertainment.’ A smile formed on my face, and my body felt so relieved.

I might as well take a stroll around with my automatic offensive capabilities active.

“Hooo, let us begin…”

I took a step forward and watched the Hobgoblin Champions state at me in hate, fear, and reverence. They would soon be dead, though.

“… <Automatic Summon>!”
