Chapter 33 Evolvers
Seeing that, Amanda's worries immediately disappeared. She took a deep breath, then reached her hand into the cage. Her palm landed right on the eagle's head.
"Very soft," she said spontaneously, showing surprise.
People were quite curious, feeling that the reaction was very exaggerated. Considering that she had slept with a silk blanket since she was young, there shouldn't be much that could be said to be soft from her perspective. If she said that, it meant that the eagle's feathers were indeed very soft.
She began stroking the eagle's head, her palm moving down its neck.
"You can take it to your room later and sleep with it," Arthur said.
Amanda knew that she couldn't do that for too long because there was a large audience behind. She withdrew her hand again and then, glanced at Arthur's hand on her waist.
Of course, Arthur really didn't have any bad intentions, he let go of her waist, then stepped backwards.
On the other hand, Amanda let out a breath as if she had just endured extreme tension. She looked at Erick and said, "please move this cage."
Erick who was in a bad mood looked like he wanted to snort. He looked at his subordinates, but did not speak, only gestured by moving his head.
"Hey, look at that, why is there a military car." Someone said. The person was on the side of the ship, by the window. His voice naturally didn't reach where Arthur was, but he still heard it.
Right after that, one of Erick's subordinates who was guarding the entrance approached Erick with hasty steps.
Erick himself seemed to have guessed why he had come. Without asking him anything, he walked to the entrance.
Luke was quite far away from him, seeing where he was going, he immediately followed.
"Who's coming?" Amanda wondered.
Not long after, three people entered the hull with Erick. Two men and one woman.
The three of them have something in common that can be said to be strange, their hair is frizzy.
The one in the middle was a rather short man, quite skinny while the other man was quite tall. As for the woman, her body quickly attracted attention even though she was young. She was slim, tall, had a curvaceous buttocks and boobs that looked like they wanted to pop out of her tight tank top. Plus, she was only wearing shorts, exposing her long, white legs.
Arthur studied the three with an interested expression. At first glance, they were like ordinary people, but with his eyes, he could tell that they were three or four times stronger than the average strong human.
'Evolvers! It seems that science on earth is quite well developed,' he thought, then looked at their hair and continued, 'the effect isn't anything dangerous either.'
They were what Arthur called those who developed through the path of science, having limited paths because they had only developed the surface part of their powers.
However, that doesn't mean it's a completely bad thing. If they then practiced magic, it would make things easier for them in the early parts.
They are also fit to walk the path of the knight. This is a path other than magic, focusing on physical strength and then fighting using weapons such as swords or spears.
Erick probably knew them before this, he seemed quite familiar. Through his conversation with them, Arthur finally learned their names. The short one is Simon, the tall one is Wade, and the woman is Jade.
"See, they are wild lions, since childhood they have lived in fights on the African savanna," said Erick, pointing to the lions in their cages.
Seeing them, Jade clapped her hands where one of her palms were clenched. "This is what I'm looking for, I'm tired of street boxers, it's too easy to beat them," she said.
"Hahaha, I'm sure you will win, Mrs. Jade." Erick said. He kept stealing glances at the woman's ass.
Her face is actually pretty too, maybe not inferior to a model if it weren't for her frizzy hair. Even with her hair like that, her facial beauty was still evident. Basically, no normal man would mind kissing her, moreover her lips are also quite sexy.
"By the way, aren't there some tigers too, where are they, I heard tigers are stronger than lions?" Wade asked because he couldn't find a single tiger among all the cages.
"They've sold out," Erick replied, gesturing to the side. From around the entrance, they were not clearly visible.
"Oh..." Wade looked disappointed to hear Erick's answer.
"So they're still here, who bought them?" This time it was Simon who asked.
"A woman from Vera City." Erick continued to answer and apparently, Simon became more interested in the tigers.
"Can I borrow them from her, maybe I can help her tame them," said Simon again.
"This..." Erick hesitated hearing that.
In the first place, there was no way he could ask his buyers to lend someone the animals they had bought. And secondly, the tigers were domesticated, so there was no need to tame them again.
"I'm afraid it will make you die, your strength is not enough to fight my tigers." Suddenly an answer appeared, surprising the people.
Arthur suddenly appeared in front of them, no one knew when he moved there, including Amanda who had been standing beside him.
When she realized where he was, she hastily walked towards him.
"Hey, Arthur, when are you leaving?" She asked as she got behind him, still not knowing that Simon wanted to fight the tigers she had bought.
Meanwhile, Simon and the others were still shocked, they looked at Arthur doubtfully because they didn't know how he heard their conversation since only the people in their entourage should be able to hear.
"Who's he?" Jade was the first to ask.
She looked Arthur from head to toe. However, she didn't feel anything out of the ordinary about Arthur, the only impression she got from him was that his face was really handsome.
