Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 124 Amanda's Mansion Again

Amanda's Lamborghini is naturally very eye-catching because even among Lamborghinis, it is among the most expensive. Plus, the woman also stomped on the gas pedal while pressing the clutch so that the car's exhaust roared out of control.

It was certainly an act of provocation.

Several youths stared intently at the car, some even seemed to want to chase it.

However, some who may recognize Amanda's car stop them.

"Are they afraid of you?" asked Arthur.

"As long as they recognize my car, of course. After all, the eldest of them is still a university student, they are too small for me and there aren't many richer than me in this city." Amanda glanced at them with a disdainful expression before looking proudly at Arthur.

The latter shook his head, speaking no more.

As the car pulled into the driveway of her mansion, Amanda knitted her brows.

"I can vaguely feel spiritual energy," she said.

"The spiritual energy here is already denser, haven't you been here since yesterday?" asked Arthur.

Amanda shook her head and looked at him doubtfully.

"Well!" Arthur explained what had happened. By this time, another part of the skull had probably already been buried by the beasts in the courtyard of the mansion.

"However, that you've felt spiritual energy even if it's faint proves that your understanding of your spell has increased," said Arthur.

Amanda smiled at that. "Of course, I always train in my free time," she said.

Just as the Lamborghini stopped, the four tigers and the two harpies, they came out of the house, followed by a middle-aged woman and two young women, Aunt Maya and her two daughters, Lisa and Lilly.

They seemed to be familiar with the beasts, which was only natural considering they lived together.

The two tigresses immediately embraced Amanda when they arrived in front of her. On the other hand, the two male tigers were quite calm, perhaps their intelligence had increased so they weren't as spoiled as the tigress.

Amanda stroked their fur and even pinched their bellies so they rolled over. She then asked Aunt Maya, "they've been fed, right?"

"Yes, miss!" The middle-aged woman replied while nodding lightly.

Her tone was very even, but it wasn't because she lacked emotion, but more like because she was too innocent.

Of course, the rough language of her and her two daughters is probably almost disabled.

However, they could still be called great women because they could still work well, taking care of such a large mansion with old men.

After asking, Amanda told the beasts to return to their living quarters.

They were quite obedient to her, even though they still tried to hug her, they still left in the end including the male tigers and the harpies.

"Come on!" Amanda invited Arthur to enter. While walking, she asked Aunt Maya again. "There should be someone sending a wooden chest, where is it?"

"My father has put it in the storeroom," answered Aunt Maya.

"I see!" Amanda took a step in a different direction, into a room where there was a staircase leading underground.

Arthur followed her there. The stairs are not very long. At the end, there was a basement full of cupboards while at the end was a rather large steel door.

Seeing that surprised Arthur a little, he thought it was similar to the anti-nuclear bunker door in the movies.

Amanda smiled faintly as she saw what Arthur was staring at. She said, "There is no certainty in this world, the number of nuclear weapons is enough to destroy thousands of cities, of course I have to be prepared for the worst conditions."

"That's a good thing," Arthur replied.

She couldn't be blamed because every living thing had a survival instinct. If she had money and didn't build something like this, then she could be called a fool.

Arthur's gaze quickly found the wooden chest he had seen in William's office.

He approached it and once he was in front of it, he hit the top of it, causing the lock to open.

After that, he opened it.

"This will take more time because of the numbers, if you don't want to wait, wait outside," Arthur said to Amanda.

However, the woman shook her head. She replied, "how could I leave my little man here, what if an evil ghost suddenly appeared and ate you?"

"You're the only ghost here," replied Arthur while Amanda responded with a laugh.

Then, she walked over to a chair that was a bit old but still very clean. She sat there, crossing her long legs.

Arthur didn't actually look at her as she walked over to the chair, he just pointed his hand inside the chest.

Whoosh!

The force of the wind gathered, sending every branch inside the chest flying into the air and floating there. They kept about 15 cm distance from each other so that overall, they all took up quite a large area.

phew!

Arthur sighed before taking a deep breath. He closed his eyes and at the same time, spiritual light appeared above every finger of his hands. They emitted light before slowly getting bigger. When their size doubled, they halved so that the number of spiritual lights became twenty.

It's a different process from last time because Arthur wants to save time.

However, even at that rate, it still took more than 30 minutes.

Fortunately, this is not something too tiring. Plus with the much greater spiritual energy here, he could replenish his energy in no time.

When the number of spiritual lights reached 97, he waved his hand. Each of them then moved towards each of the branches.

In a split second, they fused with the branches.

After that, the branches emitted light and absorbed the spiritual energy around them, giving off an extremely strong fragrance due to their large number.

That was of course something that surprised Amanda as it was her first time seeing it.

Arthur knew that she would be curious, so he sent one branch to her while another branchs he sent back into the chest. There are still processes they need to carry out, such as turning into independent beings and creating spirituality. However, Arthur didn't need to keep an eye on that. He was sure nothing was wrong.

Pa!

He closed the wooden chest.

Seeing that, Amanda immediately approached with her eyes fixed on the branch in her hand.

"Is it finished, you must be hungry, right? Let's eat," she said.

Arthur nodded. They then came out of the basement. However, instead of going to the kitchen, Amanda walked up to the lift explaining, "we're going to have dinner on the roof. The city is visible from up there and we can see the young people racing too."

Amanda's lips curled as she said that, as if she was giving a hidden signal.
