Chapter 467 The Princess
Chapter 467 The Princess
However, Linda did not approach them. She walked straight to the university building.
Perhaps she was busy and didn't want to be disturbed by stopping.
Whether it was Carla, Bella, or Yukiko. None of them knew Arthur's relationship with Linda.
They were watching her because she was a famous celebrity.
However, they were not excessive fans of famous celebrities, so they did not discuss anything about Linda.
They stopped noticing her the moment she disappeared from their sight.
Then, they stared at the dormitory again as it seemed that Princess Spain had finally walked out of the dormitory.
In Europe, she was indeed the most popular, so people's enthusiasm was very high.
Unfortunately, unlike Yukiko, the bodyguards were directly guarding the door where she was going out.
They were clearly royal troops, looked strong and had very high loyalty.
At this moment, a woman came out of the door they were guarding.
She was young, about the same age as Arthur and the others, of medium height among European women, but her face was very beautiful and gave off a very unique impression.
She seemed to be even more beautiful than Carla and Bella.
Her eyes were bright blue, her nose was sharp, and her lips were curved with a reddish color.
Her hair is bright blonde with a hint of brown mixed in, having a middle parting style.
She wore a short black dress that reached her knees. It seemed to be made of a thick silk fabric that gave warmth to her whole body even though it did not cover her whole body.
What was most attractive was of course her demeanor which displayed a very noticeable aura of nobility.
Even when she was being polite and elegant, people could still feel a great distance from her.
The difference between her and Yukiko was very clear. The latter was the Second Princess while that woman was the Crown Princess. She would be the future Queen of Spain.
Her name is Catalina.
And in theory, she and Arthur are engaged.
Arthur wasn't sure what she thought about this engagement. Did she already know the face of the man who was her fiancé?
The princess calmly made her way to the university, followed by her six bodyguards.
She continued to show the demeanor of a noble though at the same time she smiled at people.
However, she did not even nod her head let alone bow.
Apparently, when passing by Arthur's group, she stared at Arthur, a longer stare even though she did not stop her steps.
From her gaze, Arthur predicted she knew him.
At least she knew who he was.
Of course, Carla and the others' judgment were different.
Elisa said with a quiet laugh while looking at Arthur, "it seems that you do have some charm, the princess is staring at you for a longer time."
"As expected, a princess also has curiosity towards an attractive man, all the same," Bella replied. She was obviously also slightly sarcastic towards Yukiko.
However, the latter did not react at all.
She was not the type who would protest against such an obvious fact.
Since she didn't react, Bella's gaze shifted to Elisa.
"By the way, aren't you interested in Arthur?" she asked her.
"What nonsense are you asking?" Bella's question instantly made David seem to lose his mind, his eyes glaring at Bella. He even shouted so that many people looked at him
Bella stared back at him, as if she didn't care about his reaction.
"What the hell are you? Aren't you open-minded enough if your girlfriend wants to stop with you and start with another guy," she told him, deliberately provoking him.
That certainly increased David's anger, but he still seemed to be able to realize the situation.
If he continued yelling here, he would probably be deemed to be causing a scene so he was kicked out.
In the end, he looked at Elisa, wanting to see her response.
Actually, she glanced at Arthur, but after that she laughed.
"Don't joke, I'm not an unfaithful woman," she said.
"Is that so?" asked Bella, looking deeply into her eyes.
"Yeah, sure, you're loyal, but that doesn't mean you're not attracted to Arthur, does it? It's just possible that your faithful nature is gone and you don't mind."
David, "..."
The young man's face turned red. He pointed at Bella with trembling hands.
If she wasn't a woman, he would have fought with her.
Elisa, on the other hand, rolled her eyes. It seemed that she didn't want to continue discussing this.
Fortunately, at the same time, Arthur took a step into the university courtyard without saying anything.
Carla and Yukiko immediately followed him so Bella had no other choice but to follow them.
Elisa seemed to let out a sigh of relief, perhaps she was happy that Bella couldn't continue.
She didn't dare to follow them in the end.
Plus, David was holding her hand tightly, obviously not letting her move now.
"Elisa, are you really interested in that guy?" David asked before Elisa even looked at him.
"What the fuck are you asking?" Elisa snorted at David's question, looking annoyed.
"Don't take things like that seriously," she said. "That kind of attraction is not unusual, it's natural for everyone, aren't you attracted to those girls too?"
"You? So you're attracted to him?" David's cheeks became redder.
He was between feeling devastated and wanting to cry.
However, surprisingly enough, Elisa suddenly pulled his hand away before hugging him and then kissing him under the gaze of many people, causing an even bigger commotion.
Bella, Carla, and Yukiko saw that. The former chuckled.
"I think it's just her way of soothing her boyfriend's feelings," she said, not taking Elisa's actions seriously.
Of course, the kiss was enough to put David at ease, even proud that he felt like he was the main character.
Even so, back on the university grounds, he took Elisa to a different corner to Arthur and the others.
They were now lined up for orientation.
Of course, Arthur was still very much the center of attention because he was with Yukiko.
The seniors on campus were staring at him as if questioning his identity.
However, it was hard to find anyone brave enough to ask him directly because he didn't give the impression of being an ordinary guy.
When observing the other men, the female seniors found that he was indeed the most memorable.
A stage stood in front of the freshmen who were lining up.
There, a group of seemingly influential seniors gathered.
Some looked intelligent, but there were some who looked more like they relied on a dominant nature to get on that stage.
Most freshmen showed a respectful look to them, perhaps afraid of offending them.
However, for Arthur and a few others, they really didn't care about those seniors.
They unhesitatingly took out their phones, not listening to what the seniors were talking about.
As annoying as this may seem, the seniors apparently chose to turn a blind eye. They are already smart enough to avoid conflicts with people who have big backgrounds.
Fortunately, the orientation this time was not really long, something that is always the case when Gen Z is in charge.
Of course, there were some additional orientations, but those were only for those who wanted to attend. Those who didn't were welcome to go to their respective classes.
Arthur was majoring in law, he wasn't in the same class as Carla and the others, so he walked alone to his class.
Actually, Isabel had chosen that major. Who knows why she chose law, but it was also because Arthur wasn't sure what major he would choose.
On his own, Arthur still continued to get curious looks. Some seemed to want to approach him, but didn't dare because he was indifferent.
Fortunately, when it came to class, there was no rule that one had to sit in a certain seat. Every student was free to choose.
Arthur of course chose the seat in the far corner.
When he sat down, he immediately leaned his head on his chair.
However, he had to admit that something surprised him.
Jane had apparently also come to this class, and she had chosen the seat next to him.
She sat without looking at him at all while placing her bag on the desk.
People wouldn't know that she was one of the young ladies of the Armstrong Family, a family that ruled Europe through the shadows for hundreds of years.
Unfortunately, now she was just an ordinary girl.
Arthur doubts she even has money.
Her life seemed easy just because she was an Evolver.
"Why are you sitting here?" asked Arthur with his eyes fixed on her face.
He rarely spoke first to others, but he would of course still do so if the person pointed out something interesting.
Jane's actions were enough to pique his interest, making him wonder what she was thinking.
Does she have a specific intention? Or a goal?
Either way, it's unlikely that she approached him just because she wanted to.
