Chapter 1465 Stolen

Chapter 1465  Stolen

It was late at night in Rumgrave city, and Yolan sat in a chair, drinking a glass of fine wine as he listened to the woman next to him give him the report.

"Are you sure he went invisible?" Yolan asked as he heard about the match between the young man and Redfist.

"Guaranteed," the woman answered. "He is said to have shown the same skill as the girl who fought Tiffany."

"How is that possible? Did she help him perhaps?" Yolan asked.

"We cannot be certain, but our man on the inside said that the people in the stand did not help at all. At least that is what it looked like to him," the woman said. "Also, it was said that the young man was wearing Sam's bangle, which we previously saw on the other man in the group."

Yolan frowned. "Is that kid using other people's treasure?" he asked.

"It feels like it," the woman said. "It was said that he used Silvereye's eyepatch back during their first incident where they stopped the Hook from using his treasure."

The man took a sip of his wine. "I swear to god they are not some random people sent here. They are—"

A loud ringing out caught both of their attention. "What's that?" Yolan asked.

"That's the trap you had us set, for the treasure," the woman said with her eyes wide open and immediately darted out of the room.

Behind her, Yolan rushed out as well, going to the room where they had hidden the treasure.

They arrived at the room, with multiple loud bells still ringing, tied to ropes. "Move!" Yolan shouted and walked into the room, pushing the men aside.

The room was dark with barely any light coming into it and was a place that was generally out of commission for everyone. It was a regular room with a bed and a nightstand, and Yolan reached for a drawer within the nightstand.

Within the nightstand where there was supposed to be a large flute, there was nothing.

"No!" the man shouted and started pulling out the other drawers and began searching all around the room.

"Captain, I can't find it anywhere," the woman said.

Yolan's eyes darted in all directions while his mind raced for all possible answers. "Someone stole it," he said. "Someone stole our treasure."

There was only one possibility. "Did you guys see anyone come into our building?" Yolan asked. "Did someone enter?"

"N-no," one of the men who was supposed to be guarding the entrance said. "No one came."

"Someone came because my treasure is missing!" Yolan shouted.

Gasps rang around the room as the many men and women who were part of the Greenskull pirates were shocked to hear that. Their captain had one treasure that he used secretly and no one knew what it was.

All they knew was that the treasure was great enough that he didn't show it to even anyone. It was a precious treasure to the captain, so people began wondering who could've stolen it from him.

In the first place, how did someone even know to look at this room? While this room was a place that not anyone was supposed to come looking at, they were also not supposed to go to many rooms in the entire mansion. There were so many restricted sections that it would be impossible for someone to know that the treasure was hidden there. Most of these people had no idea.

"I only just placed it the day before, captain," the woman whispered into Yolan's ears. "How could someone know that it was here in the first place?" n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Yolan frowned. "I don't know how they knew, but I do know how they came in," he said. "Invisibility. They were invisible. That is how they came in. They were invisible, that's how."

Yolan was more than certain he was correct. There were no other possible reasons. This was it.

Those people living at Stillwater's place had found it and stolen it.

Yolan would die before he let them have the satisfaction of winning over him.

"Prepare the men," Yolan shouted. "We're going on a war."

Ning had come out of the shower and was about to head over to sleep. It was late at night and both Jasmine and Tim had gone to sleep.

Only Tony remained awake, writing something in his notebook about the things he had experienced, mostly related to treasures. He copied what he could remember from the Book of Treasures.

"You gonna go to sleep?" Ning asked him.

"In a bit," he said. "You can go ahead."

Ning nodded. "Good night," he said and walked toward his room. Just as he reached the door, a few loud knocks came from the door outside the penthouse and Ning paused. He looked toward Tony, who looked back at him in confusion.

"Who is it?" Tony called out.

"It's Stillwater," a voice called out. "Is it too late? I have urgent business."

Ning wondered what was up. "Come on in," he said and the door opened.

Stillwater was in her sleeping gown at the moment, her hair in a bun ready to go to sleep. She walked in swiftly and arrived by the couch as she placed something on the table.

Ning looked at what it was and raised an eyebrow. A blue flue with golden rings covering it entirely sat on the table as something that everyone could tell was a treasure.

"I have brought this to you so I can get my coin back," the woman said. Ning sat down by the table while Tony stopped his work and looked at the treasure in awe. "Is this… the 9th treasure?" Tony asked.

"It is indeed," Ning said with a small smile. "How did you get your hands on this? This belongs to Yolan, you know?"

The woman's eyes narrowed slightly. "Wait, what?" she asked and looked down at the treasure. "This belongs to Yolan?" Ning raised an eyebrow. "You didn't know?"
