Chapter 1410 The Gun

Chapter 1410  The Gun

Galamor saw the world move in slow motion as Braval pulled the trigger on the gun he had pulled out. The muzzle of the gun flashed bright as a solid bullet flew out of the end.

Galamor saw the bullet come toward him, moving slowly as though passing through water.

He was certain he was dead, and this was just time for him to recall everything about his life as the past would flash before his eyes at any second.

Suddenly, he felt a force pulling him back.

"What are you doing? Move away!" Tim's voice came so suddenly that it took Galamor out of his stupor. He was pulled away and that was when he realized that time wasn't moving slowly at all.

The bullet was flying at a very slow speed.

It sped up when he moved away, but only ever so slightly. "What is this?" Galamor asked, watching the bullet start to curve toward where he was.

"Aaah!" a sudden scream took Braval's attention and he looked around, searching for the source of the sound. One of the girls had shouted, but Braval could not see where that had been from.

"There's someone other than you two here?" the man asked, looking around to where the sound had come from. "Why did you come here?"

The bullet still moved toward Galamor, slightly faster now.

Galamor quickly stood up and used the flat of his blade to stop the bullet. When he did, he could feel his sword slowly bending under the force of the bullet. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

He skidded along the floor as the bullet effortlessly pushed him back.

"What is this?" Tim cried out. He tried helping Galamor, only to be pushed back as well. The force behind the bullet was something so incredible that neither of them could possibly stop it.

The girls helped them as well, but even with all four of them pushing on the sword, they could not stop the single bullet at all. "Hahaha!" Braval laughed out loud. "You guys better run away or you will be dead very soon."

Galamor frowned. He did not want to leave, but he also didn't want to stay and die to whatever nonsense was happening right now.

His eyes moved toward Braval and the gun in his hand. He could see the golden revolver with a silver hammer with zero imperfections on it whatsoever. Without a doubt, what he was looking at had to be a Zurin treasure.

Tim had noticed it as well, but he was unable to place a name on the object. He had never read about a gun that could do such a thing. Hell, he had never read about a gun treasure at all.

This had to be one of the more recent treasures born out of the latest inventions in humanity. Guns and gunpowder had only been discovered less than a hundred years ago, so this Zurin treasure was younger than that for sure.

"I can't push it back for much longer," Tim shouted. He stared at the gun and had a thought. "Keep yourself safe, I'll do something."

"Argh!" Braval shouted all of a sudden as he felt something painful around his left leg. He looked down and saw something grab onto his left leg, chomping through the sleeping gown that he had been wearing.

He tried grabbing whatever was there and felt the snout of an invisible dog that he didn't immediately recognize.

Using the moment of distraction, Tim rushed forward and went for the gun in the man's hand. He reached out to grab it and suddenly felt the floor slide right under him as he slammed into the cabinet next to Braval head first.

Pain filled his head. The pain of slamming onto the cabinet was there, but what was even more painful was the nauseating feeling of the world spinning around him as a migraine tried to eat his brains out.

"Hahaha!" Bravel laughed like a maniac as he punched where the thing sticking into his leg was. After a few punches, he heard the whimpering sounds of a dog as it stopped biting. He then looked toward Tim and kicked him in the stomach. "Hahaha! Just wait, you will die soon enough too," he said. Just as he did, he felt something stick onto his head and heard an audible click. He could easily tell that the hammer was cocked at that very moment. His eyes slowly turned at that very moment as he looked at the empty space where he could feel something on him.

"Invisibility? That's a fancy little power," the man said. "Unfortunately, you should not have used it on me."

Braval suddenly dipped downward and with his left hand he swung wildly to hit the person next to him. He ended up touching someone, and as soon as he did, he activated the technique on the gun as well.

A loud thud indicated that someone else had fallen to the ground and had started rolling in pain from the headache and nausea that his powers gave him.

"You bastard!" Galamor said and moved past the bullet to attack Galamor with his sword. However, before he could even reach there, he too fell to the ground with a heavy migraine.

"Hahaha!" Braval shouted. "You are one stupid Paladin, aren't you? You should have realized that I have a Zurin treasure— oh, my bad, a Divine treasure— and started thinking how that works."

"You already saw two of your comrades fail, so you should have known how my powers work," Braval said. Someone suddenly appeared out of invisibility. It was a woman in her late 30s, tall and beautiful with dark brown hair and fair skin.

"How does your powers work?" the woman asked.

"I didn't realize there were more of you," Braval said and suddenly started giggling again. "Stupid, so stupid. You should have already known better than to reveal yourself to me."

The bullet suddenly arced toward the woman and went for her head.
