Prologue: The Man Called Unrivaled Swordsman

There was a man known as Unrivaled Swordsman.

His personality, skill, and sword flowed so naturally that it was said that he didn't need an embellishment at all... just like the 'clothes in the kingdom of heaven'*.

For players, scars and wounds were a common sight on their bodies as living in the Tower was a constant struggle. However, this man was an exception.

From the moment he entered the Tower until now, no one had ever seen him with a single scratch on his body. He was like a noble, a divine being.

Some claimed that he had obtained a legendary defense artifact; hence his indestructible shield could defend against any attack, making it impossible for him to get hurt.

Others claimed that he was a former member of a secret special forces unit in the United States. His overwhelming strength since his first appearance in the Tower was the main reason for this claim.

There were even claims that he was the lover of a legendary warrior. The warrior, wanting to protect her lover, gave him all kinds of elixirs, and as a result, a monster who recovered quickly even after being seriously injured was born.

With so many rumors and bits of truth mixed in, opinions were divided on his true identity, but there was one thing everyone agreed on: Unrivaled Swordsman was strong, unbelievably strong. Although his true skills were hidden in a veil as he wandered alone without forming a party, the stories of numerous rankers further supported this claim.

It was to the extent that some scholars even considered him the true strongest in the Tower. Even now, in some bars somewhere, people still argued about who was stronger between the Unrivaled Swordsman and the Hero.

So, where was the man called Unrivaled Swordsman, and what was he doing right now?

.

.

.

In a forest on the upper level of the Tower that no one had ever set foot in, a man sat on the corpse of a tiger as big as a house, wiping the blood off his sword.

He had a blank expression on his face as he wiped his sword against the cloth.

There wasn't even a single drop of blood on his body, let alone a wound, contrasting with the blood-stained forest, creating a mysterious atmosphere.

It was a sight that perfectly described the title he had been given - “The Unrivaled!”

Of course, it would have been great if everything was as nice as others thought...

The man flinched and stopped wiping his sword.

There was a tiny drop of blood on his hand.

"Ah."

It seemed like his hand was slightly cut while he was concentrating on cleaning his sword.

It was a small wound that an ordinary person could easily laugh at, but-

Status: Injured

Regressing back to the time when you first entered the 44th floor.

"…F*ck."

-the man was in a situation where he could never afford to get injured.

Never.

[TL: The 'Clothes in the kingdom of heaven' is a metaphor that I used to explain the original word ‘Cheon-umubong’ which is a metaphor for the fact that something is very natural and flawless, just like the clothes of people in heaven have no seams or traces of sewing.]
