Reborn with Steve Stand

Chapter 78:

Chapter 78:

After Pierce's departure, the cleanup work following the war progressed rapidly and soon came to an end.

Stark stuck to the original plan and invited everyone to a nearby Shawarma restaurant for a meal, with one minor change: Dr. Banner remained in his Hulk form.

Honestly, the taste of the restaurant was average, but Hulk enjoyed the meal nonetheless.

Once they finished eating, everyone started getting ready to rest. The recent battle had taken a toll on them, especially on ordinary individuals like Natasha and Barton, who were exhausted and depleted of energy.

Fang Mo also needed a break, but he didn't mean going back to his destroyed house in the suburbs of New York to sleep. When Fang Mo said he was going back, he meant returning to the Minecraft world.

Having experienced the Battle of New York firsthand, Fang Mo knew that the next plot should be Iron Man 3, which involved the Extremis virus. However, Fang Mo believed that Stark should be able to handle it on his own now.

After all, he didn't have any nuclear bombs, so his inner anxiety shouldn't be as strong.

Furthermore, with the physical enhancement from the Golden Apple and the shrapnel removed from his heart through surgery performed by Fang Mo, the original plot shouldn't have much impact on him.

As for the events after Iron Man 3, which involved the invasion of the Dark Elves in Thor: The Dark World, Fang Mo was prepared. He had given the Enchanting Golden Apple to Queen Frigga, hoping to save her from dying. If he could catch up with the events, great; if not, he could always visit the Collector in the universe and obtain some Aether particles.

In short, Fang Mo's mining addiction had resurfaced, and he couldn't resist the urge to mine something.

After bidding farewell to everyone, he had his Steve Stand retrieve the Linking Book, and he used it to return directly to the Minecraft world.

When Fang Mo opened his eyes again, he found himself lying in his bed in the overworld.

"Familiar ceiling," Fang Mo mused, glancing at the oak wood blocks above his head. He slowly sat up.

The Minecraft world remained as tranquil as ever, unchanged since Fang Mo's departure. The torches in the room burned quietly, emitting a soft orange glow.

Unlike the fast-paced Marvel world, the prevailing tone here seemed to be one of tranquility and calmness.

Fang Mo got up from the bed and leisurely walked outside the house.

Outside, a series of farmland stretched out, with crops neatly planted. Not far away was a fenced area housing various animals. The docile sheep occasionally lowered their heads to graze, exuding a sense of leisure.

Fang Mo took a stroll around, had Steve harvest some crops and feed the livestock, and even picked some berries from the Raspberry Bush added by the Tinker's Construct mod.

Afterward, Fang Mo returned to his room.

Meanwhile, Steve independently made his way to the warehouse and voluntarily organized the miscellaneous items he carried. Then he ventured into the mine to start mining.

In the Marvel world, Fang Mo had unlocked many new mods.

Several of these mods introduced their own ores, creating new mineral deposits in the Minecraft world. For example, Thermal Expansion brought copper, silver, tin, lead, nickel, platinum, and unstable redstone, among others.

Of course, there were some conflicts between certain ores.

For instance, both Thermal Expansion and Industrial Craft featured copper, silver, lead, and tin.

However, Minecraft's mechanics were fascinating. In the absence of related mods or modifications, when different mods introduced overlapping ores, both mod ores would generate in the world.

Using the example of copper ore found in both Thermal Expansion and Industrial Craft, according to Minecraft's mechanics, two visually distinct copper ores would appear in the world, effectively doubling Fang Mo's chances of mining copper ore underground.

If Fang Mo had unlocked mods such as Tinkers' Construct, Industrial Craft, Forestry, Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering, Metallurgy, Galacticraft, Railcraft, Tech Reborn, NuclearCraft, GregTech, and others, it was highly likely that when Steve struck the ground, there would be more copper ore than stone beneath.

But Fang Mo didn't have that many mods at the moment, so he didn't need to worry about these factors.

Compared to the technological side of ores, Fang Mo was currently more interested in the minerals used for Tinkers' Construct alloys.

In reality, metals like copper, lead, tin, and nickel were often associated with technology. However, metals like Demonic Metal, Aurorium, Violium, Tiberium, Tritonite, Vibrant Alloy, and Valyrium, among others, were elusive. Fang Mo wondered if they existed anywhere in reality.

Not to mention Nihilite with its Soul Eater attribute.

What would happen if Fang Mo made them real?

Just thinking about it, Fang Mo found it very intriguing. After all, it was just a magical sword.

Furthermore, there was Imperomite, a metal that caused monsters to lose their sense of self. In reality, would it induce a vegetative state or cause a cerebral infarction?

Fang Mo's curiosity was piqued.

When mining, Steve hardly required Fang Mo's deliberate intervention. It had become almost instinctual for Fang Mo, much like an ordinary person watching anime while eating.

At that moment, Fang Mo lay on the bed, holding a gray book, engrossed in its contents.

Before returning to the Minecraft world, Fang Mo had touched the Infinity Stone, unlocking two mods: More Space and Tinkers' Armory.

The gray book in Fang Mo's hands was precisely from the Tinkers' Armory mod.

Tinkers' Construct had been mentioned before. It allowed players to craft a range of weapons and tools.

However, as everyone knew, mods had their limitations unless supplemented with add-ons.

Thus, the Tinkers' Armory mod was created. It added armor to Tinkers' Construct's original weapons and tools, allowing players to create their own customized armor that far surpassed the performance of traditional diamond armor.

Unfortunately, the mod was still incomplete.

Currently, it only supported players using Tinkers' Construct and vanilla minerals to craft armor.

Fang Mo had previously played on a server that had numerous Tinkers' Construct add-on mods, enabling players to use materials from all mods to create armor. Materials such as Ruby, Void Metal, Terrasteel, Plutonium, Chaotic Core, Red Matter, and even Infinity Ingots were truly formidable.

However, Fang Mo was still far from reaching that stage.

Consequently, he could only select some materials from the vanilla version to make armor.

As Fang Mo flipped through the Armor Guide, a piece of crimson material suddenly caught his attention.

"Hmm? What is this...?"
