Chapter 664: Little Momo

Chapter 664: Little Momo

Accompanied by a sudden burst of pink and purple light, Fang Mo could vaguely see the body of the small Ender Dragon changing continuously within the glow.

The dragon's massive form, comparable to the Milano spaceship, gradually shrank. Its dark, hard scales began to fade away, and it slowly stood up on the ground. The once huge, sturdy dragon claws transformed into small hands, with the sharp, silver nails disappearing without a trace.

Soon, the scales were replaced by fair skin.

The majestic and imposing dragon head turned into a tender, baby-faced visage.

As the enormous wings that could block out the sun began to fold and vanish, the small Ender Dragon completely transformed into a childlike human figure.

"…Hmm?"

Seeing this, Fang Mo immediately looked up to scrutinize the creature.

At this moment, the small Ender Dragon seems curious about its new body and was observing itself.

It was a very young girl, so young that calling her a "loli" would be premature. She had long, smooth black hair that reached her waist, and her eyes sparkled like amethyst.

Notably, despite her fair and tender humanoid appearance, she retained several "dragon" features, such as vertical pupils, a thick dragon tail covered with a layer of black scales, and bright silver dragon horns on either side of her forehead resembling a crown.

It was clear to any normal person that she was not human.

"…Mom?"

Perhaps sensing Fang Mo's gaze, the small Ender Dragon looked up at him with a puzzled expression, seemingly not understanding her current state. She instinctively asked, "Mom…what's happening to me?"

"Good child."

Fang Mo's face immediately softened into a kind smile. "Come, let Daddy hold you."

"?"

Although the small Ender Dragon found it a bit strange, her affection for Fang Mo was overwhelming. Without thinking much, she immediately walked towards him upon hearing his words.

However, being newly transformed into a human shape, she was evidently unaccustomed to her new body.

Like a child learning to walk, she stumbled clumsily towards Fang Mo, her fair feet pattering on the floor, leaving warm little footprints behind.

Seeing her approaching, Fang Mo took the opportunity to pull out a piece of cloth from his storage space and wrapped her in it.

After fashioning some makeshift clothes, Fang Mo finally lifted her off the ground with satisfaction, cradling her in his arms like a daughter.

"Mom…"

Just then, the small Ender Dragon seemed to remember something, turning to look at Fang Mo. "Mom, do you prefer me like this? Like that bad cat before?"

"Bad cat?"

Fang Mo was puzzled. "What bad cat? Are you talking about Shoggoth?"

"No, not the sticky one." The small Ender Dragon shook her head and then pondered. "Hmm…that black cat. Oh, right, Aunt Yoruichi."

"Oh, that one…"

Hearing this, Fang Mo realized what she meant.

Yes, during his first visit to the world of the Shinigami, he had interacted with Yoruichi a few times, which the small Ender Dragon must have seen. Yoruichi, shifting between cat and human, had evidently left a strong impression on the young Ender Dragon.

"What are you thinking, child?"

Fang Mo said, patting the small Ender Dragon on the head. Her hair was smooth and thick, with a surprisingly good texture. "Aunt Yoruichi and I are just friends."

"Murrr…"

The small Ender Dragon seemed to enjoy this, closing her eyes in comfort.

"Master, the room is clean."

Just then, Ah Xue approached from a distance. Fang Mo turned to see that, true to her role as head maid, she had made the guest room spotless.

"Well done."

Fang Mo nodded, continuing to tease the little girl in his arms. "Keep dinner simple."

Ah Xue smiled warmly without speaking, humming a tune as she headed to the kitchen. Seeing this, Fang Mo followed her. This guest room hadn't been used in a long time, and the refrigerator was empty. If they wanted to cook, they'd need to procure some ingredients.

Even though Fang Mo had requested a simple dinner, Ah Xue still prepared a meal of four dishes and a soup considering the number of diners.

As for dinner, there is nothing much to say. It was just a family sitting at the table eating and drinking—daughter, maid, and even the cats and dogs. Yes, Fang Mo did not forget Shoggoth and took advantage of a free moment to bring it out.

If there was anything unfortunate, it would be that the mistress of the house was absent.

Yes, Xiao Yao was once again engrossed in her machines. Previously, Fang Mo had been preoccupied with how to make her stay, so he agreed to her request and found her several mines.

But he forgot that Xiao Yao had originally come out of the Minecraft world to take a break because there were no more mines.

Now that there are mines at home again...

She has once again entered a workaholic mode, not even eating meals.

Fortunately, Fang Mo and Xiao Yao have been partners for many years and are used to each other's personalities. So, he didn't bother her and instead lay in bed with his daughter, telling bedtime stories.

Fang Mo has always been a rather vulgar person.

Even after becoming the God of Blocks, he still subconsciously judges people by their appearances...

And this little Ender Dragon, after eating the feminization core, became incredibly cute, just like Kanna from the anime "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid." She perfectly fulfilled Fang Mo's fantasy of a "daughter." If he ever had a daughter, she would probably be like this.

Fang Mo used to say that he treated her like a daughter.

But after all, she was a dragon. When she was young, he could barely hold her and dote on her, but as she grew, she became larger than Star-Lord's spaceship. How could he possibly dote on her then?

But now everything is different.

The giant dragon has truly turned into a soft-spoken little child.

Fang Mo's fatherly instincts instantly overflowed. He held her in his arms and doted on her, even materializing two bookshelves to find a bedtime story to read, trying to truly experience what it felt like to be a father.

And the little Ender Dragon was clearly very happy.

After all, from her perspective, Fang Mo hadn't been affectionate with her for a long time.

Because she was so excited, the little Ender Dragon was a bit reluctant to sleep. In the end, after Fang Mo finished reading the bedtime story, he looked down to find her blinking her big eyes, happily staring at him.

"Momo... why aren't you asleep yet?"

Putting down the book, Fang Mo looked curiously at the little girl in his arms.

Momo was the name Fang Mo gave her. She inherited his surname, making her full name Fang Mo, just like Ah Xue is Fang Xue. But Fang Mo usually prefers to call them by their nicknames.

"I'm afraid that when I wake up, Mom will be gone again."

Upon hearing Fang Mo's question, Momo blinked and shared her thoughts, even reaching out with her little hands to grab Fang Mo's pajamas: "I want to stay with Mom a little longer."

"I see."

Hearing this, Fang Mo smiled: "Don't worry, this time I won't leave."

"Really?"

Momo's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Yes, really." Fang Mo affectionately patted her little head: "So go to sleep if you're tired."

"Then..."

Momo hesitated for a moment before saying, "Mom, can I listen to one more story before I sleep?"

"Of course."

Fang Mo nodded with a smile. However, since the bedtime book was already finished and he didn't have any more bookshelves at hand, he decided to come up with a story himself: "How about I tell you a story from the Four Great Classical Novels?"

"What are those?"

Momo asked curiously.

"They are 'Journey to the West,' 'Dream of the Red Chamber,' 'Water Margin,' and 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms.'" Fang Mo looked affectionately at his little daughter: "Which one would you like to hear first?"

"I want to hear 'Water Margin.'"

Momo tilted her head and randomly chose one.

"Alright then." Fang Mo nodded: "The story is set during the Song Dynasty, where 108 stars of destiny descend to earth, each possessing incredibly strong magnetic powers..."

However, before he could finish.

Fang Mo faintly heard a familiar scream.

"Ah!!!"

"?"

Upon hearing the sound, Fang Mo and Xiao Mo simultaneously looked up at the ceiling. The guest room they were in was on the first floor, and the noise seemed to be coming from above.

"Mom, there seems to be some noise upstairs," Xiao Mo said proactively.

"Yes, I heard it too." Fang Mo instinctively turned to glance at the clock on the wall and frowned. It was already past two in the morning, and the sudden scream was quite odd. It would be understandable elsewhere, but this was the X-Men's headquarters, where such things shouldn't happen.

Before he could think too much, there was a scratching sound at the door. Next, their dog, Cheems, started barking.

"Woof... Woof!"

While others might not understand, Fang Mo could communicate effortlessly with any creature, so he immediately understood what his dog meant.

"You say this noise was made by Rogue?"

Hearing this, Fang Mo got up from the bed and opened the door. Outside, Cheems nodded weakly and whimpered.

"Alright, let's go take a look."

After some thought, Fang Mo decided to go upstairs to check. His nightwear instantly changed into casual clothes with a mere thought. At that moment, a small hand tugged at his clothes.

Fang Mo turned and saw Xiao Mo looking up at him. "Mom, can I go with you?"

"Alright then," Fang Mo agreed, not refusing his daughter's request.

"Come on, let's fly."

Fang Mo cheerfully lifted Xiao Mo, letting her ride on his shoulders like a horse. He then led Cheems and walked towards the stairs. Xiao Mo was delighted, cheering and laughing as she rode on her mother's shoulders.

Her joy was simple; having been carried by her mother before, she now enjoyed the novelty of riding on her shoulders. Her tail wagged even more energetically than Cheems's.

Seeing his daughter's happiness, Fang Mo couldn't help but remember the time Nick Fury played dragon with Xiao Mo in the basement, making fun of him for being a horse riding a horse. He sighed, "Everyone laughs at Nick, but everyone is a Nick..."

Muttering self-deprecatingly, Fang Mo quickly made his way to the second-floor corridor. He immediately noticed a room with its door wide open. The earlier scream had not only attracted Fang Mo but also woke many mutant children living in the dormitory. They were gathered outside the room, looking inside with confused expressions.

Apart from the children, the X-Men's administrators, Storm, Cyclops, and Jean Grey, had also arrived. Unlike the children, they were calm and immediately rushed into the room.

As they entered, Fang Mo heard Jean exclaim, "Oh my god... Scott, get a pillow quickly!"

Curious, Fang Mo approached the room. At the doorway, he saw a terrified Rogue explaining to Storm, "I didn't mean to; it was an accident!"

Storm seemed equally shocked and momentarily speechless, as on the floor beside them lay Logan in just his shorts. His once strong body appeared drained, his muscles shriveled and withered like dry tree bark, convulsing uncontrollably. Jean and Scott were frantically trying to treat him, but to no avail.

"Damn…"

~~~
Damn Logan got drained gahhaahh
