"Shhh…, watch and learn". Legolas smiled at his student.

After struggling for a bit, the enormous Python slowly calmed down as Legolas's hand remained on its head. After listening to a lot of his stories, Christensen finally asked for a demonstration on taming a beast.

On discovering a random massive Python on the woods, Legolas decided that this was the perfect target and he went to tame the Python.

From the eyes of the Python, it was still angry and was struggling but Legolas's enormous soul power pressed against its own, suppressing it.

This continued for a few seconds.

"It'll be done soon". Legolas smiled at his student. "I think in 3…, 2…"

"Roar?" Predator roared inquisitively as he looked at kiddo's chocolate-stained mouth curiously.

On noticing the Nightmare Beast's stare at the residual chocolate on its mouth, Kiddo's hair stood on end. "Roar?!"

"Roar!" Predator went closer, spooking kiddo.

The Chefron was quick as he controlled his mana impeccably to form human speech. "Legolas! Predator is stealing!"

"…"

"Legolas!!!"

"…" Legolas sweat bullets as his concentration wavered.

The next moment, what he was doing was disrupted by the 2 bickering beasts, he turned with an irritated look on his face. "You 2 f*cking…"

 "Hisss!"

Legolas paused and turned just in time to see the rage-filled eyes of the Python that were now glaring at him with no intention other than to kill.

Whoosh!

Legolas dodged just in time to save his life from the Python's lunge.

He was grieved. "F*ck you Kiddo!"

"F*ck you Predator!"

"This is all you 2 motherf*cker's faults!"

It took Kiddo's intervention before he was able to successfully escape from the Python that was out for vengeance.

"Phew…" Legolas heaved a sigh of relief.

Without hesitation, they continued their journey.

Kiddo left a long trail of dust in his wake as he sprinted.

For the past 2 days, they traveled. Of course, Christensen and Legolas always had one urge or the other to stop during the journey to do different silly things like Christensen's sudden pleading for Legolas to demonstrate taming a beast.

Sometimes, it was their own urge, sometimes it was the urge of their beasts.

Despite all the delays and distractions, after 2 days of traveling, the massive Chefron finally succeeded in taking them to their destination.

Kiddo stopped just before stepping into the gold sand, it threw its passengers off its back before turning to look at Legolas with puppy eyes.

Legolas palmed his face. "Ugh…, your obsession over chocolate is legendary".

He fulfilled the Chefron's wish though as he brought another lollipop chocolate from his storage ring that he prepared ahead of time and threw it.

Crunch!

Chefron jumped and devoured the lollipop chocolate in the air.

"So, another lollipop chocolate to take us deeper?"

"Roar!" Kiddo roared as he ran around Legolas in circles.

He wanted another lollipop chocolate but he had no intentions of going deeper into the desert, Chefrons hated heat and deserts.

Though Legolas already knew this, he still wanted to try his luck if kiddo's love for chocolate could overcome his fear of heat and deserts.

Unfortunately for him though, the Chefron knew exactly what it loved and hated, it would not compromise one for the other.

Kiddo rubbed its fur against him but Legolas was not having it.

"Take me inside or no lollipop chocolate for you".

"Roar!"

Kiddo ran around him in circles again.

While the Chefron and Legolas bickered about the lollipop chocolate, Christensen walked to the edge of the desert as Leo and Predator accompanied him. Predator sniffed the desert sand before jumping away.

Christensen laughed. "It's not harmful, it's just normal sand".

"Roar!" Predator roared doubtfully as he went closer to sniff again.

Of all the beasts though, the one who was most terrified of the desert was Leo. Though Christensen already described the desert for it during the journey, seeing the real thing was more terrifying than stories.

As a Frost Wolf who loved cold and snow, a desert was the last place that a Frost Wolf like Leo wanted to go to. He looked at the desert then at his master, then he whimpered.

Christensen laughed and rubbed Leo's head. "It'll be fine".

Crunch!

In the end, Legolas could not resist kiddo's cute act as he gave him the 2nd lollipop chocolate. He cursed before looking at kiddo suspiciously. "Before I forget, who's been teaching you how to act cute these days?"

Kiddo looked at him cluelessly as it blinked its eyes the next moment.

"Don't even play dumb with me, it's Lucky that's teaching you right?"

Kiddo blinked again innocently.

"Ugh, never mind, it just doesn't fit you".

Kiddo blinked again.

"That's excessive blinking". Legolas laughed and palmed his face.

"Anyways, bye, since you're too scared to follow me in, I guess this is where we separate speed boy".

Kiddo looked at him with puppy eyes again before rubbing its huge mane against him. The next moment, Legolas's virtual interface lit up a notification.

----

'Damn, is he really missing me already?' Legolas was stunned.

At first, going after kiddo was just for his greed to get its breast milk to perfect his Ultimate Man Potion formula. He never expected the effects of giving kiddo lollipop chocolate to be so OP though.

Through the lollipop chocolate luring, Kiddo stayed with him for such a long time helping him as their relationship grew.

Now, their favorability already increased to friends.

Legolas rubbed its head. "I'll miss you too kiddo".

"Stay safe, I'll meet you sometime again when I finish business in the desert".

"Go on!"

Kiddo was reluctant at first but after being urged repeatedly by Legolas, the Chefron finally turned around and sprinted away.

Kiddo was off back to the Blue Sea where its freedom was.

"Now, let's go!" Legolas turned to face his student and his beast.

Christensen brought out a paper. "This is the map that Altan gave to us, according to it, we'll first arrive at a desert village called Conor".

Conor was the village closest to human civilization outside the desert.

It was not too developed but being the closest to the world outside the desert, they had some specialties exclusive to the outside world that others deeper in the desert didn't have.

Legolas and Christensen ate their last familiar meal at a restaurant in this small settlement before making their way deeper into the desert.

Like Altan said, most of the desert villages were friendly. Due to their small scale, they hardly had any warrior army, just enough warriors to help the village fend off animal attacks and to hunt and provide for the village.

Apart from the friendly villages though, the major tribes were the real problem. Unlike the villages, the major tribes had more rules and restrictions.

To avoid any unnecessary troubles, like advised by Altan, Legolas and Christensen avoided the first 2 major tribe settlements that they encountered.

After moving through the desert for 6 hours, they finally arrived at the territory that they were looking for, the settlement of the Audun tribe.
