When they stopped, Qin Xue fell asleep leaning against Chu Molin’s body.

Chu Molin felt Qin Xue slipping, quickly catching her in his arms and looking down, he silently bent down to carry her and placed her on the bed. But her hand still clutched his clothes tightly.

Chu Molin simply skipped dinner and lay down beside the sleeping Qin Xue, feeling somewhat heartbroken. Every time she was overly anxious or frightened, Qin Xue would enter this self-enclosed state.
