"What happened?" Darcy asked

"Sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't." the little girl replied

"I want to throw something. Jane, give me your shoe." Darcy asked Jane while Jane picks up her gadget to look at the readings.

"I haven't seen readings like this since..."

" New Mexico?" Darcy said completing her sentence. To which Jane give Darcy a meaningful look before rushing off.

"Don't touch anything!" Jane said before she walked away

Darcy turned to Ian and said "Give me your shoe."

Jane walks away from the others and watches them on the stairwell dropping objects down and watching them disappear and reappear, she sees looks at her gadget and sees the anomaly is nearby and starts walking off; back on the stairwell, Ian drops the car keys down and they watch it disappear but when they look up it doesn't reappear.

"Where those the car keys?" Darcy asked as she turned to look at Ian

Jane follows the readings on her gadget which takes her to another part of the factory, as the readings get stronger a gust of wind pushes her forward and she finds herself teleported in another realm.

"Darcy!" Jane called out she looks around and finds the column holding the Aether, she reaches her hand out when suddenly someone pulls her back. Jane turned to see who it is and found Kenichi looking at her with anger in his eyes.

"Are you dumb look around you do you think it's safe to touch anything when you don't know where you are? Have Thor's dumbness infected you as well" asked Kenichi

"W-what!?" Jane said as she looks around trying to make out where they were but she couldn't.

"You walkled in through a convergence Jane and are not in Earth whatever you were trying to do is nothing short of aging for death. " Kenichi said sternly then as he was ready to pull Jane back to get out of tgere

The Aether comes out of the stone columns and rushes towards them, Kenichi pushes Jane back and throws a kiblast at the Aether but it just absorbs it. And as if it has eaten a delicacy it forgets about Jane and enters Kenichi's body releasing and energy waved that knocks out both Kenichi and Jane; at the same time Malekith is being awakened in his ship, and he understood at once l that the Aether has been found.

" The Aether awakens us. The Convergence returns." Malekith said

Back in Asgard, Thor walks up the bridge towards Heimdall

"You're late." Heimdall said

"Merriment can sometimes be a heavier burden than battle." Thor stated

"Then you're doing one of them incorrectly." Heimdall stated

Thor chuckles and asked "Perhaps. How fare the stars?"

"Still shining. From here I can see Nine Realms and ten trillion souls." Heimdall said and looks at Thor for a moment.

"You recall what I told you of the Convergence?" Heimdall asked

"Yes, the alignment of the worlds. It approaches, doesn't it?" Thor said

" The universe hasn't seen this marvel since before my watch began. Few can sense, even fewer can see it. A world that's infected can be dangerous. It is truly beautiful." Heimdall stated as the two of them looks out into the stars.

"I see nothing." Thor stated

"Or perhaps that is not the beauty you seek." Heimdall said to which Thor laughs.

"How is she?" Thor asked

"She's quite clever, your mortal. She doesn't know it yet, but she studies the Convergence as well. Even..." Heimdall stops as he senses something

"What?" Thor asked seeing Heimdall stop like that.

'I can't see her." Heimdall replied

As Kenichi is being infected by the Aether he regains his consciousness and looks into his body seeing the Aether greedily sucking onto his ki.

"Fuck! This mother fucking reality stone" Kenichi cursed out and closed his eyes rousing his ki to start fighting against. His body glows in red and yellow light as his ki Aether start to fight for the dominance over his body. Blood started to leek out of Kenichi nose, ears, eyes and even from the skin because of how crazy the fight inside his body was going, the Aether also knew that if this goes own that the body will give out and it won't get what he really wants of the host dies so it slowly stop it's assault, seeing the Aether stop the attack on his body Kenichi aslo stops his ki.

As the two of them stopped fighting Kenichi and the Aether knew that they need to make a compromise more so the Aether as it needs a host with ki as pure and strong as Kenichi's but it's not possible to find it and if Kenichi does it will have to eat the low class grass which won't taste good after having a taste of him.

So Aether sent a single by only taking a trickle amount of ki, Kenichi understood what it was trying to do so he also didn't stop the Aether from getting the trickle amount of ki. As the Aether got the ki, he also healed Kenichi from the injuries on his body caused by their fight.

Like that the two starts to communicate and Kenichi sits on the ground and starts to meditate until Jane wakes up while he deals with the Aether. As Jane wakes up she finds Kenichi sitting on the ground beside her on the top floor of the abandoned factory, Kenichi stands up motions her to walk out so she runs out with Kenichi right behind her to find Darcy has called the police

"Jane! Where the hell were you?" Darcy asked them she looks at Kenichi who also walks out of the abandoned factory, her eyes widened in shock, "What!? How! When! Where did you come from!?"

"Tell me you didn't call the police!" Jane said

"What was I supposed to do?" Darcy asked

"Not call the police!" Jane said while raising her voice.

" I was freaking out." Darcy shouted back

" You call the cops they tell the feds, the next thing you know we have SHIELD crawling all over area fifty-one-ing the place." Jane said

"Jane!" Darcy called out her name

' We had a stable gratification anomaly, we had unheeded access. Our only competition was ten years old!" Jane started rambling when Darcy said " Jane, you were gone for five hours!"

"So that's how long it took" Kenichi said

The two women turned their head at looked right at him.

"I was also looking over these wormholes when Jane and I entered through one and ended up someplace else"
