"Tony this is Maya Hansen our lead researcher, I hope you will be able to help us in her research" Kenichi said as he introduced Tony to Maya.

"Good to see you again Mr. Stark" Maya said

"Yes, you experimentd on the plants with it and I left a formula to decrease the volatility of it" Tony nodded his head.

"Well it's more now, Extremis enhances the user's physiology by rewriting their DNA. It harnesses the body's bio-electricity and uses it to activate parts of the brain that govern repair and chemically recode them. This can allow Extremis to hack into the basic operating system of living organisms. If the user's body chooses to accept it, they will gain regenerative healing abilities, enabling to heal all wounds, including previously amputated limbs or even physiological damage. When regenerating lost body parts, the wounds take on the appearance of burning embers while growing back the limb in a matter of minutes, and then cools into regular flesh, blood, and bone. Extremis also enhances physical performance, granting superhuman strength, reflexes, and overall higher resilience." Maya explained, "Additionally, normal Extremis users gain the ability to generate extreme amounts of heat through a complex metabolic process, with temperatures of up to several thousand degrees Celsius. Extremis users are able to consciously control the amount of heat expelled from their body, causing the area of their body generating it to glow intensely, superheating their tissues, blood vessels and nerves, while outlining them inside the body. This effect has been shown to be unstable in the event of an Extremis overload, burning the flesh and causing an explosion. Trained Extremis users can focus and conduct heat through a single area of their body such as their arms or hands, and even emit fire from their mouths, though it would seem that only the most disciplined of Extremis users can perform this feat. Certain users also demonstrated the ability to conduct heat through other objects with physical contact, allowing them to superheat targets by touching them."

"So you basically created a much stronger version of Captain America " Tony said after listening about Extremis and watching the data Maya showed him

Maya nodded her head then sighed and said "Yes, but it's weaknesses are big as well, Extremis users can be easily recognized through thermal imaging as they have a much higher heat signature. They can also be identified when their pupils glow while using their powers. Extremis does not make its users entirely invincible, as direct wounds through the chest, such as a uni-beam, will be lethal, destroying the victim's heart and therefore cutting off blood flow to the brain. When the body is regenerating, it is fragile and can be destroyed with a powerful enough force such as your repulsor shot. Destroying the users' brains and major organs through incineration has also been shown to be fatal. The main weakness of Extremis is the possibility that its user's body will reject the serum upon initial injection, or that the serum may become unstable within the user if they fail to properly regulate their usage of it. Extremis users are able to consciously control the amount of heat expelled from their body, but this effect has been shown to be unstable in the event of an overload within. If the virus is not accepted by or regulated in the human body, the metabolic process which causes the user to generates excessive heat and the bio-electricity harnessed by Extremis will overload. As a result, the users will rapidly build up energy and force, cumulating in a massive explosion and powerful shockwave. The resulting explosion is an excess of 3,000°C and instantly vaporizes the Extremis user's body, along with anything within a certain proximity, leaving behind shadow-like marks. A.I.M. created several terrorist attacks on United States soil to cover up the explosions caused by Extremis test subjects."

"What? So you were behind all those terrorist attacks?" Tony said his eyes hardened

"No, not me it was Killian who did that he created Mandarin and used the terrorist attacks to gain more money. It was Reaper who took care of them and he was going to deal with me as well but Kenichi saved me, because he believed in my research." Maya hurriedly explained while raising her hands to stop Tony to suddenly attack her.

"I didn't wanted to do what I did Tony, but Killian cam be quite persuasive " Maya said

"Your Extremis virus It's a bio-electronics package, fitted into a few billion graphite nanotubes and suspended in a carrier fluid right" Tony asked to which Maya nodded her head hurriedly

"I need some time to think" Tony said and he walked out of the lab leaving Maya alone.

After getting out of Maya's lab, he walked out of the building to get some fresh air when he saw Kenichi standing outside as well.

"What are you doing here?" Tony asked

"I am waiting for you, I know after Maya told you everything, you would come out to clear your mind and think about it" Kenichi replied with a smile and added, "You are to predictable Tony"

Irritated by Kenichi's comment Tony grumbled "Shut up!"

"Even if we not think about anything else just the healing ability of the Extremis is strong, Maya Hansen wanted to use it to help people but her luck was bad that she met a partner like Killian, the guy was a psychopath and had extreme hatred towards you" Kenichi said

"Me! What did I do?" Tony asked

"You met him once and even scheduled a meeting later but than you didn't go and the poor bastard waited for you the whole night " Kenichi said

"This- Is this really true how do you know about it?" Tony asked

"It was because of you that Maya and Killian met Tony, you slept with Maya when you had to meet him and then you left while she was sleeping "
