Chapter 403 – Title: Did Jiang DeXian post that to the wrong account? (1)

It felt good to always be on someone’s mind and, as such, Fang JunRong would return his favor from time to time. For example, she would send over some fruits to him occasionally.

Her fruits were raved about but, normally speaking, she only saved the ones from the dimension for those closest to her and only gave away those that were grown in real life.

When July came around, Fang JunRong received an invitation asking her to present  China’s Persons of the Year Award.

Per the official guidelines, the winner of this award would be measured by their influence, innovation, and sense of responsibility. The area was not only limited to the world of business but also all other major areas.

In addition to the most eye-catching Persons of the Year Award, there was an almost equally eye-catching Emerging Award.

Fang JunRong had won the Emerging Award a year ago from her Meifang Corporation and became the woman of the hour.

This year, she further received many invitations to present many awards. One could say that she had finally “made it”.

The speed that she had risen up made many envious. Nevertheless, Fang JunRong’s contribution and influence were there for all to see and nobody dared to question her. If she wasn’t good enough for the award, then who was?

As for Jiang WenYu, he had received the Emerging Award a year ago over the accomplishments that he had achieved in various of his researches.

This year, he received the Country’s Second Prize in Natural Science and became the Man of the Year. On the other side, Jiang DeXian, whose company had just sprung up in the last two years, received the Emerging Award.

Fang JunRong was close to both of these men and it was lucky that she did not take up the offer to be the presenter of these awards. It just might have brought about a lot of gossip.

Xu WeiWei cared a lot about this and dragged Fang JunRong to have a few gowns custom made. Fang JunRong finally decided on a purple mermaid train dress.

The color was a big challenge for the wearer’s looks and body. Nevertheless, when Fang JunRong put it on, it made her look white like snow and her waist slender. The small pieces of diamonds used to adorn the dress gave it an even more fantasy feel.

The purple diamond earrings on her earlobes bounced around like fairies and complimented her dress perfectly. Her hair that was done up was held with just a simple white jade hairpin, making her seem more tender.

Looking into the mirror, Fang JunRong was quite pleased with her outfit.

As the guest who was presenting the award, she arrived at the venue ahead of time and did not go with Jiang WenYu or Jiang DeXian. Fang JunRong even saw Zhong Yi there. Award-winning ceremonies like this one usually would have stars there for entertainment.

Zhong Yi, as an agent who had a talented songwriter / singer Ren DongZhi and the highly-popular group “Skip”, had slowly but surely made herself a name in the entertainment industry.

The group skip was formed by the pretty boys that were offered up to Fang JunRong by Wenxia Entertainment. They had become famed overnight with their talent and looks after they had signed with Zhong Yi. Zhang Shuo, the team lead, had a delicate and innocent look but could be very explosive when on stage. He was the most popular one in the group.

Both Ren DongZhi and Skip received invitations today and it was a great opportunity for them to move into the eyes of mainstream audiences. Zhong Yi, as the agent, did not want any incidents at an opportunity like this and, as such, had come in person. When Fang JunRong arrived, she happened to see Zhong Yi communicating with the makeup artist.

“Mom.”

Zhong Yi greeted Fang JunRong when she saw her. Her brows frowning slightly as though something unpleasant had taken place.

Fang JunRong asked, “What’s the matter?”

Zhong Yi said, “The Ren DongZhi’s makeup artist called in sick at the last minute.” Each makeup artist was assigned to their own individuals and everyone that was here today were top-tier celebrities and nobody would give away their makeup artist.

In addition, the venue today was in the countryside and, even if she was to reach out to other makeup artists, they still might not be able to make it in time. As for the two markup artists for Skip, they barely had enough time for the group, let alone another person.

Zhong Yi had wanted to bring extra makeup artists, but the organizer today hated celebrities being too showy and bringing a big team with them. As such, there was a limit on the number of people that they could bring with them.

That was Zhong Yi’s current problem.

Fang JunRong said, “I’ll have my makeup artist come over.”
