Chapter 2315: Zeus academy students



The silence is so loud.

The silence that is backed by the fear, it is so loud and apparent on everyone's face. More than ninety percent of the people there have higher level cultivation than Sam. Among them there are barely any in late stage.

Sam has already plucked the lives of most of them. Only mostly peak stage members are there.

If it is a group fight, maybe they might have attacked him. But the moment one of them attacks, they would be locked with Sam and he is dealing with them relentlessly. The means he used didn't look like much to them.

He spammed the spatial blink, he overly used that Katar, maybe to use that blade opening or something else, but he is reliant on Katar.

Then he used some weird inscriptions that they have never seen and they could sense that he has been applying curses as well. If Sam didn't have that speed and space element, then they wouldn't have been worried much.

Even if he wanted to use the curse, they could overcome with their speed, since his cultivation is low.

But he has that speed. Even in that situation, if he didn't have that curse power, then they would have risked taking a couple of blows to capture him. But, he is locking them down with those curses and who knows the severity of those curses?

They could attack their wounds, flesh and even the mind, they didn't understand them enough to risk it.

As if all of that is not enough, he is good at combining that's spatial element with the inscriptions making them immobile. The shadow undead added to that... he is just not ideal person to combat like this in such a space.

They need time to plan out and figure it out.

However, what they don't know is that Sam has given all the time they needed before that day. After all, he never took initiative in the previous days and just focused on the contests.

Now, things are different. He is going after them and there is nothing in this world they could do stop him.

*SWOOSH*

Sam activated the blink and everyone immediately made their move. Some of them activated transference tokens. The ones that didn't have them, ran in different directions. But Sam appeared near someone.

*BANG*

When he was about to land the attack, the opponent channeled his metal element into the armor he was wearing. The attack was blocked and instead the opponent was pushed forward by the unexpected force.

However, when he charged forward, he felt like something blinked past him. Before he knew it, there is a deep gash in his torso.

Sam looked at the void hopper that came to him and smirked. Before the opponent could realize, he is swarmed with the shadow mice and the shadow undead, Sam just landed the final blow and went after another target.

As the solo combat contestants screamed and ran through the streets of the Norse city, Sam used various elements to take them down.

Of course, he didn't go after anyone. Because he knew they will soon be desperate enough to reduce the numbers on their own.

So, he just picked a destination and hunted down the candidates on his face.

Hours passed as Sam slaughtered the targets in his way. By now, the news has spread to various elders and they are all frantically searching for their own candidates. The Zeus academy candidates, at least what is left of them are gathered in the quarters arranged for them.

There are three people left.

The three strongest that they could offer in their current situation. They also have a very high kill count behind them.

"Why have you asked us to come now? We just managed to nab one of the Gambler academy guys. He is almost done for. We could have killed him."

One of the candidates said out loud in frustration.

The elder gritted his teeth in frustration and said.

"While you are off to target the Gambler academy students, one of them is slaughtering everyone else. Sam killed the remaining two candidates. He is now coming here. I want you guys to be together and think of a plan to deal with him."

*BAM*

As they are talking, they heard some noise outside. They ran out to check what is happening. Sam is on his harbinger as he chased after his opponent. He threw a green wooden spear that seemed to have been made from a freshly harvested bamboo.

*SWOOSH*

The opponent barely dodged it and the spear went past him. Before he could heave a sigh, the spear stopped moving and vines grew out of it while still in mid-air.

The vines coiled around him, blocking his path.

*BOOM*

He exploded with flames, to burn them down. However, the vines are generating faster than he was burning them. Before he could do anything more, Sam already reached him.

*STAB*

He stabbed the Katar into his back and twisted it before opening the blades. The man is once again cut in half like most of Sam's opponents. The spear fell along with the vines and the coiled parts of the body.

Sam's breathing is rhythmic, with slight panting. With every second he is recovering his breath bit by bit. The harbinger brought him down slowly

He looked at the remaining three targets.

Even with all the damage Sam has done, these three strongest second graders of the Zeus academy still managed to survive till today.

He did feel like he should have killed them a long time ago. Things would have become easier for him at the moment. But them being alive now did have its own benefits. He could land a blow to Zeus academy so big that they will either try to kill him with all the pretenses torn down or they would be beaten like dogs by the other academies.

He needs to see what outcome it would be.

His glasses are activated, his Katar is raging with the sharp spiritual energy. Several metal objects flew out of his harbinger and landed at different spots around them, while a lot of

them floated around him as well.

He is ready to deal with these pests.
