Chapter 2254 Theron Vs Ling Tian
2254 Theron Vs Ling Tian
As Heron went on cleaning up the vermin that entered his academy grounds, his companion walked towards a certain direction.
All the bloodshed and the terror stricken people are of no consequence to him. His blank expression told a million words about how he couldn't give two shits about the whole thing. He walked slowly and steadily as if he was taking a walk in a park on a warm summer evening.
After some twists and turns he finally arrived at his destination.
But the moment he stopped there, the blank expression disappeared. His jaws clenched, teeth grinding, forehead wrinkled and fist clenched. He looked at the house with increasing anger every passing second.
He broke through the main gate and looked inside.
The house is empty. Not even a single living being was there. He turned around and walked back to Heron with the same pace. Heron was just breaking the legs of the one of the Poseidon academy elders who almost killed a first grader.
He was planning on holding him accountable and make the Poseidon academy pay for his discretion.
At that moment, his heart froze for a moment as he heard faint footsteps approaching him.
"What happened, Theron?"
He asked in almost shivering tone.
Theron looked at Heron with the same cold gaze one would look at an annoying fly.
"Where is Jade? Why is she not in her quarters?"
"What?" Heron widened his eyes in disbelief. Even he didn't expect this.
"Sh.. She is not there?" Heron asked. With all the bloodshed going on, he expected the worst. Fear and rage gripped his heart tight. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Th..Ther.." The Dean was about to speak, but Theron gestured him to stop and looked at the academy. This is the first time he is observing all the chaos around.
Finally his gaze landed at the Poseidon academy's elder. He stepped forward and held the Elder's throat by his hand and raised him up.
"You have three seconds. Tell me what is happening."
His eyes were cold, sharp and the Elder would have sworn that there is some indescribable energy hidden beneath all that coldness. An energy and power that made him spill the beans immediately.
He told Theron everything. From how the suspicions developed around Sam, how the interrogation went, how Bloody Chariot got involved and how they tried to attack the Gambler academy to force them to give up Sam.
How the information was revealed all of a sudden and how the family forces attacked the academy forces. And how everyone went to kill off their information mules.
"Coul… some elder…" Heron stuttered trying to make a coherent sentence. But Theron stopped his once again and said.
"There are no signs of attacks, nothing happened in that house. If an person of that level attacked her or even tried to forcefully bring her away in any method, the talisman I gave her would have been triggered.
My soul fragment would have being notified. And there is not just one talisman. There is no way for her to be taken away forcefully by someone."
"Then…"
"She left willingly." Theron spoke, his voice sounding eerily calm. But that calmness didn't fool anyone. Even the Elder that was on the verge of death a second ago, could feel that some hidden storm is brewing beneath that façade.
Theron dropped that elder and walked back to Jade's residence once again. He closed his eyes for a moment and took out a special formation disc. He walked to the center of the house and placed the disc there.
Heron calmed the chaos in the academy and called for the elders of the Zeus academy. He tried to contact Bloody Chariot, but got no response. The elders replied and he informed them of his arrival and at the same time asked them to come and take over, before he ran towards Jade's residence as well.
There he saw Theron setting up the formation disc in the middle of the house.
Then he started drawing some inscriptions connecting it to the formations around the house.
Soon, he was done and tapped the top of the formation disc.
*SWOOSH*
The whole place turned into blue colored projection. Within that projection, they saw two people. One of them is standing at the door while the other is standing on the other side.
This side, it was Stone and the other side it was Jade.
Jade opened the door, she hugged Stone and both of them walked out of the residence area.
The projection ended.
"Is that Stone?" Theron asked Heron. The same calmness still full of his tone.
"Yes."
"I thought he was a prospectless cripple." Theron muttered almost as if he was saying that to himself. Not to Heron.
Heron gulped as a million thoughts ran through his mind. He remembered a time in the Olympian region when Stone was the biggest problem they had. But soon it was gone and replaced by so many bigger problems that he practically forgot about him.
Of course, he should have expected that something like this would have happened. After all, Stone is not here is protest and scream. He is here for the love of his life.
"Last time I checked, that cripple left his planet with nothing more than an Astral Plane cultivation, messed up meridians and overly swollen muscles of his upper body.
How did all of those flaws get corrected and he came to his realm?
Did he obtain a Divine Inheritance?"
This time Theron's questions were directed at Heron. The latter came out of hi daze and answered.
"He didn't take and inheritances from the Pocket dimensions, that much I am sure, he actually changed before the pocket dimensions opened. When he first arrived at the academy, he was still like his original self.
Between then and the fresh tournament, this big change happened.
Until then…"
Heron paused and bit his tongue. He didn't want to reveal too much. He can spout all the speculations that he wanted in front of someone like Christos, but he cannot do the same with his brother. He is far too powerful and the consequences would be far too dreadful for him to do that.
Theron looked at the ring he was wearing and started playing with it.
"You better continue Heron. You were about to say something. I am sure you know better than hiding things from me."
Heron gulped down and said.
"When Stone came to the academy, I made the guards throw him out and keep him in the streets not letting him enter. At that time, the person named Sam who was mentioned before by that elder also came to our academy for some reason and was returning.
On his way back, he saw Stone at the entrance and took him along with him."
"So, that kid is the only connection with Stone and this miraculous change? So, in a way the hub could be the reason for the sudden change? Are you telling me that now?"
*GULP*
Heron gulped and nodded.
"Alright."
*SWOOSH*
Theron disappeared from there.
When he arrived at the Gambler academy, he saw that Wharton is fighting with all the other elders and Deans. He directly ignored that fight and tried to barge in. Of course, the defensive formation blocked him.
He appeared surprised.
"Gambler academy. Full of surprises as always."
He mumbled and raised his hand to land a slap on the formation.
*BOOM*
With an explosion, the formation collapsed and the remnant energy of that slap went through it straight towards the next few layers of the formation. The energy only dissipated after collapsing a couple of other buildings.
He finally captured everyone's attention.
Wharton looked at him and exclaimed.
"THERON??!!"
Theron looked at Wharton and smirked.
"Its just as I have heard. You are wasting your life away in this place Wharton."
Theron said and he zoomed in towards the core area where Sam is held.
Wharton wanted to turn around and deal with him, but the Deans and all their tricks are handful. But after a second, he thought of something and just relaxed.
Theron sensed expanded his divine sense without any worries and that is when Sam and Ling Tian felt the sense of crisis and reacted.
Theron waved his hand, slapping the air. The shockwave was so strong that it collapsed everything in between and destroyed the building Sam and Theron was in.
And that brought us to our present situation.
Ling Tian and Theron are hovering in the air looking at each other.
"You are Ling Tian, aren't you?" Theron asked in amusement.
Ling Tian didn't answer and looked at him with a frown.
"What business does an outsider like you have in the Academy realm? Attacking the Gambler academy out of blue."
"Out of blue? It is totally called for. Bring that kid named Sam out. I need to ask him some questions."
"What for?"
"To decide if I should leave him alive or dead."
