"Why are we here?" Jun'er mumbled.

"Just to suffer, apparently," Ah Yin replied softly. They were in the Heaven Dou City. A magnificent city built over a waterfall with its border connected to the lands by sturdy bridges and many points of attraction. Even the largest waterfall of the continent one gazes into from the top during the entrance to the city is a sight in itself.

"Ugghhh..." Hu Lana groaned.

"I think this is a wonderful initiative. Not many like to discuss such personal topics," Tang Yuehua smiled slightly.

"If it was really a wonderful initiative, why weren't the guys called, too? They're out screwing around while we are stuck here... it's not fair..." Erlong mumbled.

"Done?" Bibi Dong coldly inquired and shut every opposing argument with her gaze, "I think that Ka-ul will only make a mockery of this short educational visit..." she looked away and exhaled deeply.

Everyone looked towards the small group of girls gathered on the second floor of the Heaven Dou Restaurant. All of them wore elegant robes and dresses. Light make-up on their faces and they would talk amongst themselves softly, giggling at times.

"I still don't understand why we need to wear these!"

Jun'er looked at herself. Her fashion has always been more outrageous compared to the group. But now, everyone had their hair combed and tied differently. Ah Yin wore a silver clip to pull back her left locks and looked dignified and beautiful in the silver dress opening into a slightly loose and straight frock down her waist. Liu Erlong had her long and dark raven hair tied into a tail while a black corset-like top extended to closely sticking trousers. Her top had shoulder cutouts but unlike usual, the dress's collar reached her neck. And, a silver bracelet could be seen on her right wrist. Bibi Dong had a white dress covering her body with violet gems inlaid. This has been her favorite color scheme for quite a while now. Her pinkish-blonde hair let down and two plaits tied from the sides of her temple and merged into one thicker plait behind, giving her charming appearance.

Yuehua, unlike others, always wore clothes that looked more to the higher sections of society. Even now, two bluish silver locks framed her face and the remainder of her long hair was tied into a spread-out bun. A courtly blue dress with gold linings covered her body and two golden anklets made the fair lady look like an exotic visitor. Jun'er wore a flaming red dress. Compared to other girls with specific charms, she was wild. Not as wild and dangerous as Liu Erlong, but more like a chaotic child that would willingly break the rules because there are rules to break. She looked around curiously and found herself attracted to the food.

On the other hand, Hu Lana had her body wrapped in a black-red qipao 'appropriately' modified for more luxurious wearing. A tasteful cutout from above her chests with a sleek slit from the right portion of the hems a little above her knee for the ease in movement.

"You need to wear this because sometimes, even as a Spirit Master, the norms of society are easier to follow and according ourselves to them is not wrong. These ladies here don't generally accept anyone... because of their statuses and the topic of discussion."

"Yes, when I was planning on setting up the Moon Pavilion, I had researched this group and even thought of trying and recruit them as an instructor."

"You wanted to open a sex center?" Jun'er blurted out and everyone blushed.

"No," Yuehua was speechless, "Only theoretical education about... certain things."

"Ehm, everyone, please take a seat."

A middle-aged woman with a dignified expression stepped up on the temporarily constructed stage and the girls quickly found their seats on the floor as female waiters began bringing in refreshments.

"I still think it's not us who should go through this torture alone..." Erlong tapped her finger.

"Relax, I asked... Xie Xan and Oscar to teach some basic things to Ka-ul," Bibi Dong mumbled, once again feeling complicated.

"I don't think he needs it..." Ah Yin spoke up but as she felt her teammates' gaze focusing on her, she added softly, "Of course, I wouldn't know."

---

"Teach me? Do you know what's 'Uppity Hoppity'? 'Rain Goggles'? 'Toad's Croak'? 'Jimminy Jizz Jazz'?"

Ja Sun calmly set down the mug on the slightly dingy table. They weren't in some elegant and beautiful restaurant. Taking the chance to actually know the city better, they hit the most popular local tavern and as they say, the more popular taverns are, the more destructive and boisterous they look. This was one such place. Men and women laughing with mugs of ale in their hands. Still, this was the capital city of an Empire. Each one of the patrons was a spirit master no matter how weak they were.

Ja Sun stuck to shirts and trousers. They were easy to wear and move in. His hair had grown considerably but it still looked like a buzz cut. His eyebrows grew back, too. But his other bodily hair did not return just the way it was after he had refined his body. It was as if his body refused to be anything less than a hairless chiseled cheese grinder but honestly, Ja Sun was happy about it. Not because of the plague of pubes in buttcheeks. But... hair in his left pits would simply look odd, given how he only had a stump in that location.

The greatest improvement was his eyelids. These had returned.

Xie Xan and Oscar, on the other hand, looked much more like a spirit master than the 'has-been' look Ja Sun revealed.

Xie Xan and Oscar were good-looking, no doubt about it. But Xie Xan with his hair swept to the right and elongated appropriately to act as a lock of combed hair to his right revealed a deeply sated emo presence, no doubt, because of his past and motivations, meanwhile, Oscar's silver hair was short and tame yet he attracted enough attention of his own. Without Jun'er continuously sniffing him, he looked quite a target to the ladies in the tavern.

Hearing Ja Sun speak the names of skillset they had imagined impossible, Oscar and Xie Xan glanced at each other.

"What's... Toad's Croak?" Oscar inquired while gulping slightly. He was afraid and curious.

"It's when the balls are swallowed. The mouth is inflated just like the moment when a toad croaks!" Ja Sun snickered.

"That's bullshit! We are talking real stuff here. Don't tell me little Yin and you didn't have a moment inside the forest alone... but you have to play it safe. You already lost an arm... consider raising a child like this... hghhh!" Xie Xan shivered.

"Why would I raise a child?" Ja Sun inquired. Condoms were a thing in this world, too.

What a joke.

Most of the mundane things of his past life were present here. He could see a manual juice maker on the counter right now!

"No, what Xan meant was... you need to think about Ah Yin," Oscar sighed, "You know. We had to learn from our experiences because we don't have fathers to teach us some stuff. But you don't have to walk blindly... we could teach you a few things."

"So... you both are my father now?" Ja Sun narrowed his eyes.

"I'd beat the shit out of such a son... but hey, that's just me," Xie Xan leaned back and gave a long sigh.

"Thanks, but no. I don't want to hear... your moves. It's weird, even for me," Ja Sun chuckled and waved his arm before ordering some snacks.

Suddenly, he thought of something and inquired, "Are the girls... doing something similar?"

"Teacher took them to someplace for education."

"Wow, a red light district?" Ja Sun inquired curiously.

"No, an educational class. I don't know, it sounded stupid to me," Oscar shrugged.

'Way to go being a sensible man,' Ja Sun shrugged at the hypocrisy.

"So... what's rain goggles?" Xie Xan inquired.

"When the other party presses the balls against their eyes to cover them and act as if they are wearing goggles. The balls need to be wet for the effect of 'rain.'"

"That's horrendous. Don't try it, ever. How did you even come up with it?" Oscar set his mug with a disgusted expression.

"I didn't... I just heard it in my travels. A poet named... Li Feng. I met him before running into Ah Yin. That man was filled with ideas."

{A/N: Li Feng is Ja Sun's first pseudonym during his entrance into a village as a wandering poet.}

"Anyway, Teacher also asked us to... clear the basics with you. She doesn't want any unplanned situations from occurring just because you and Little Yin were not careful."

"Give me a break," Ja Sun rolled his eyes. After that kiss, Ah Yin barely even looked at him in the eye and when she did, she would just stare at him for a few seconds before looking away. He himself was confused. Was this how plants flirt? The signs were confusing and with constant training leaving them tired, they barely had time to find more 'moments' together despite resting close to each other in the tent.

"So, this was a good talk." Oscar shrugged. What else they could say? They tried. Ja Sun said he knew his stuff. They believed him, and that's it, right?

---

"Can you believe her?" Hu Lana rolled her eyes while Jun'er nodded with contempt in her eyes.

Bibi Dong whispered. In reality, she, too, was bored by the lecture. It was hard to admit it, but Bibi Dong felt that this particular luxuriously ranked class would have more of a... view-based teaching. She wasn't asking for an actual demonstration here, but just seeing the middle-aged woman drone and drone about pregnancy, bleeding, being calm, taking deep breaths, well, it was a bit ridiculous in her eyes.

"She's not teaching us anything," Jun'er replied softly. The girls sat around one table so they curiously leaned forward slightly to hear what Jun'er had to say.

"All she is saying is things like to mentally prepare yourself. Or to not let your expectations get a better of yourself. These are just advice. It's not teaching."

"Exactly," Hu Lana nodded, "It's like saying don't die in a battle or be prepared to die to defeat your opponents. This doesn't teach how to fight itself..."

"Ehm, so, you guys know better than her?" Yuehua inquired.

"Given the noises we have heard, I'd say yes," Ah Yin whispered and Hu Lana smiled. She didn't feel embarrassed when Ja Sun, Xie Xan, and Oscar weren't present.

"I'm a little bit knowledgeable. Somethings I picked along the way. For instance, instead of using the wildly popular... I forgot their name... what are those called?"

Hu Lana looked at Jun'er.

"Condoms?"

"Yes, condoms! Instead of using those, I came across a medicinal recipe that increases the immunity from a few 'nasty' things the woman keeps warning about. But honestly, it is only necessary for simple men and women. As spirit masters, our immunity to natural and transmitted diseases increases wildly. Most often than not, only old age or a spirit skill can be our demise so as long as you drink the stuff I recommend once a month, there is no need for any other precautions... but, well, pulling out is safer in the end."

"And less messy," Jun'er nodded, "But I don't recommend less messy... although Oscar is really strict about these things..." she leaned against the table with a sad sigh.

"Then... the stuff you and brother Xie do? Ka-ul told us a little about it... doesn't it hurt when you try it... even more in the back?"

Jun'er looked at Hu Lana with amazement as her lips twitched.

"Ka-ul did what?" She shouted before looking around.

The stern gaze of the tutor told that their journey in the class may come to an unexpected end.

---

"Welcome to the 9 Pleasures Heaven."

Ja Sun, Xie Xan, and Oscar looked at the beautiful woman welcoming them into the archaic structure. The setting was... quite red and glittering.

"Let me handle this," Oscar smiled, "Excuse me," he leaned towards the counter with a smile, "Could we get"

"Oh, you poor thing. What happened to your arm?" The woman wearing the red uniform walked out from the counter and gazed at Ja Sun with a pitiable expression. Sighing deeply, Ja Sun shook his head, "Let's not discuss sad things. I was able to survive my injuries and came out of my house today. My friends here wanted to take me to a relaxing place so that I could forget those bad memories... sigh, but it's hard to forget the loss of a loved arm I mean, one. Loved one."

"Yes, it is," the woman smiled kindly.

"Could we... try and get the most luxurious bath? In the ninth heaven? We need a membership, I am aware of that, but I can compensate for it. It's not like I have anyone to spend my wealth on..."

Seeing Ja Sun's desolate expression, the woman couldn't help but pat his right shoulder, "Hang in there. No man is born destined to be alone. We have met for the first time, but kindness to the stranger is true kindness in itself.

I think I can get you into the ninth heaven without membership but I'm afraid that I cannot wave off the costs. And I can only book it for you three for two hours."

"Thank you so much, Sister."

Ja Sun nodded and gripped his left shoulder.

---

"This sucks! I cannot believe she threw us out!" Hu Lana scowled.

"Why are you getting angry? I was forced out because of your outburst. I've never been forced out of any event before," Bibi Dong glared at Hu Lana who flinched.

"That's it!" Hu Lana suddenly pulled Jun'er and smiled, "Why don't the two of us continue where we left off from? Unlike that woman who still had something giant up her butt, we can answer many things truthfully and directly!"

In the streets of the lively capital, the group of six girls attracted plenty of attention. However, they realized that in this city, they weren't the only group of females who tidied up and hung out in groups. Sights like theirs were common in this city, however, their individual beauty wasn't so common.

Instead of a quiet place like before, Hu Lana chose a boisterous one. There was nothing more awkward than talking to one's friends about private matters in a silent room where even her whispers could be heard. Their drinks were brought in quickly, everyone got down to it with a somber expression. From afar, anyone who saw the girls sitting and had a thought of hitting up to them had their imaginations crushed by the frightening aura around them.

It wasn't like these girls were here to get drunk and have fun but were conducting a very serious business.

"So," Jun'er began, "The first thing you need to realize is what you like. Your tastes, I mean. I'm a simple woman. Oscar's scent is... the strongest I ever came across. So I don't like anyone else other than him. But, I think you need to keep in mind a threshold of compromise. Everyone will have their own taste... if you can efficiently make your partner like whatever you like, well and good but if not... you need to slowly explore the line of compromise and stop where your partner may be pushed off completely by your interests."

"So? If I like watching blood... could I..."

"Nothing with the goods! Are you crazy!" Hu Lana slammed her hand on the table with a look of incredulity while Erlong yelped and hurriedly looked down. Blushing, Erlong snarled, "I meant scratches, you fucking idiot!"

"Oh, I see, hehe," Hu Lana chuckled weirdly as the other girls looked at each other.

"Ehm, that's a good place to start from. Interests," Hu Lana coughed and continued, "Compromise is certainly needed. Even Xan'er and I have our understanding and boundaries. So... I think the second thing you need to be careful about is the boundaries. The most common example would be sleeping. Xie Xan and I love to snuggle but..."

"Oscar doesn't," Jun'er's gaze darkened briefly, "He's all like, 'Oh, I need space while sleeping...' I just can't go to sleep without a good whiff of him..."

"I've been meaning to ask you," Bibi Dong spoke up, "What do you think about our scents?"

Startled momentarily, Jun'er nodded and looked at Hu Lana, "The way my senses work is a bit different. I don't just smell the body, but also the scent of one's martial soul. So, to me, you often have a sweet scent. Like a pot of honey."

Sitting next to Jun'er, Hu Lana hugged her instantly, "That's so sweet!"

"Yes, that's what I said," Jun'er snickered but seeing the lack of laughter from others, she snorted, "It was a good one. Anyway... hmm, Erlong has the scent of"

"Blood and organs and the screeching demise of my enemies, I know," Erlong gave a vicious smile.

"I was going to say roses. You smell like a Cherry Rose."

"Pfft," Hu Lana chuckled and Ah Yin could barely control her smile. With an amused expression, Bibi Dong gazed at the reddened Erlong and then hinted at Jun'er to continue.

"I think Ah Yin smells like freshly cut grass. The one right after a fulfilling rain... it's actually the nicest one after Oscar."

Ah Yin nodded calmly. This was to be expected, right?

"Sister Yuehua has the scent of the oil."

"Excuse me?" Yuehua looked appalled. Everyone got nice scents but her?

"No, I mean like a petroleum. Your brothers had a similar scent, too. But their's was a bit nauseating. Yours is... mellow. Like I could keep sniffing it without getting it to my head."

"I... I see," Tang Yuehua forced a smile. Now this was a night out she wanted to forget, but she wouldn't be able to.

"And teacher has a medicinal scent."

"Medicine?" Bibi Dong looked curious. She expected venomous stench or something similar but this was... pretty good.

"Yes. Like the whiff of the most bitter medicine I can possibly imagine."

There it is.

Bibi Dong's lips twitched, "And the boys?"

"Oh, they don't act similar to their scent at all! Brother Xie has the bloodiest stench I ever sensed but he acts so calmly and collected. Oscar, as I said, has the strongest scent. Like anything that could make you step back in astonishment but attract you so very much... by the way, only I can sniff him, ehm, and Ka-ul... hmm, it's hard to put into words. It's attractive in the sense that... it has many qualities. But it is hard to be confused by it, too. But there's one thing I can say that his scent seems so... deep."

"Wait a minute! I don't have the scent of blood but Xie Xan does?" Erlong scowled.

---

"I'm wondering if using my injury to get this advantage was right or not. Then again, what is right and wrong? Why even categorize our actions in morality?"

It was a large pool with steam surrounding everywhere. The floor was fashioned as an artificial environment of bath with rocks and grass around them. Towels placed aside, the three men with a dark-green patch of paste over their faces and bright cucumber slices over their eyes leaned back.

"Damn... that's deep," Oscar uttered with a groan.

"Best... vacation... ever," Xie Xan blew a relaxed sigh. In the warm water, all of their tensions melted away and the trio felt they deserved every bit of the rest.

"Get me into the Royal Palace and then it will be the best vacation..." Ja Sun mumbled.

"I call shots on any spirit bone with sword-like nature if you find them this time."

"... Wait, spirit bones?" Oscar inquired softly.

"Yeah, it's a long story. You want to hear it?" Ja Sun inquired.

"We have the hours."

"So it all began when I entered the Star Luo City and smelled my Destiny calling me---"
