Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 458: Convinced

Chapter 458: Convinced

Hearing Shane, the deamon spatial treant didn’t hesitate as he stepped through the portal Shane had manifested.

Even after disappearing from their sight, Shane left the portal open, while looking at the Hidden Paradise from a birds eye’s view.

After the deamon spatial treant had asked to enter his soul world, he knew that it was only a matter of time before it would return with confusion.

There were only a few trees and the only thing that could be compared to nature was the Agri department’s fields of Nightshade flowers consisting of all kinds of vegetables they had planted.

His soul world also had a few fruit trees, but that was essentially everything about it for now.

As such, there was not much to see.

Shane had also informed those inside the Hidden Paradise that they would receive a visit by a treant who was a guest.

This made everyone curious, and it didn’t take long before hundreds of faction members glanced at the treant in astonishment.

It was extremely rare to see plants, trees, and other lifeforms that gained sentience. Thus everybody had momentarily stopped their work to take a good look at it.

However, after their curiosity was fulfilled, most faction members returned to work, and only a few remained.

The deamon spatial treant was astonished about the buildings, structures, and number of beings that looked similar to Shane, but that was about everything interesting it saw.

Meanwhile, Shane didn’t really care about it. Instead, after reading several books he had learned that treants were said to be eager to revive nature in barren lands.

As such, the soul world that consistently increases in size as long as Shane’s strength increases, should be extremely suitable for them.

Furthermore, he had already dropped the hint about the world tree seedling and magi tree seedlings, which was the most important information the treants couldn’t simply ignore.

In the end, Shane was relatively sure that the treants had already made their final decision, in favor of Shane, his soul world, and most importantly for themselves in order to reap the benefits of being around a world tree, and nurture it!

Thus, he only had to wait for the deamon spatial treant to return before it would share his experience of Shane’s soul world with the others.

After that, it was likely for the treants to discuss their next steps, only to come to the conclusion Shane was eagerly awaiting to hear.

He was excited, but Shane knew that he had to remain calm on the outside.

As such, he gave his best, and in the end, Shane even began to cultivate, trying to show the treants that he was confident.

At the same time, it showed the treants that he wouldn’t be affected by a negative answer and was only giving them a chance to survive.

However, Shane cared about the treants’ decision because he required their distinct abilities to nurture the tree seedlings the Astral Starlight factions would purchase.

Additionally, he would also require the ancient magi trees that would hopefully be moved to the soul world after the secret realm would be devoured.

The ancient magi trees were the only thing Shane was truly worried about because he needed the vast amount of mana they generated, while the rest was something he could simply ignore for now.

While he cultivated for a few hours, the other treants had to impatiently wait for the deamon spatial treant’s return that took way longer than they had initially expected.

However, the moment it returned, the other treants immediately dragged the deamon spatial treant away from the portal and Shane.

Noticing this, Shane closed the portal before he simply continued to cultivate.

Only after a few more hours passed did he notice the return of the treants that were patiently looking at Shane.

Opening his eyes, they gleamed brightly as he saw that the treants were ready to depart.

Yet, even more interesting to Shane was the fact that they were extremely vigorous, with overflowing life force seeping out of their body.

The old treant noticed Shane’s gaze and thinking that the young man was uncomfortable about the treant’s sudden change in vigor, it explained the situation.

“Please do not worry. We absorbed the excess energy from the secret realm’s soil. This is necessary to let your world bloom!

We accept your offer and are grateful to receive the opportunity to revive a barren world!”

At that moment, the treants released strong mana fluctuations filled with their ambition and determination, which caused Shane to lift his right eyebrow before he smiled lightly.

Opening a portal to the Hidden Paradise once again, Shane directly messaged the Astral Starlight faction’s echelons.

[Prepare to purchase the world tree seedling and magi tree seedlings. A few hundred treants filled with life force and the ambition to turn the Hidden Paradise into a flourishing world are coming over!]

Shane couldn’t help but smile at the message, visualising how their expression would be upon reading it.

However, at that moment, he recalled that his system would disappear in a few minutes which made him smile dryly, thinking that it was quite sad that he couldn’t enter the Primordial dimensions after today.

‘Well, I did more than enough. Using the remaining time before we leave Igra to cultivate is also important. Who knows how large the Hidden Paradise needs to be!’

Consoling himself, Shane closed the portal to the Hidden Paradise once every treant had emerged through it.

After that, he was completely alone in the secret world.

This caused goosebumps to appear on his body, and to be sure that he didn’t miss anyone, Shane circulated a large amount of mana through his body while exerting the Light steps movement technique.

Utilizing every ounce of strength within his body, he ran through the secret realm, taking a look if someone had been accidentally left out.

Shane felt that this was not the case, but being certain was better, and he needed to let off some steam either way.

In the end, he didn’t find anyone, and without any hesitation, Shane entered the small cavern tunnel that led him to the silver soul world core.

At that moment, his soul world core started to vibrate lightly, showing its desire to devour the silver soul world core.

Yet, in comparison to before, this desire seems to have increased over time, showing Shane how important the silver soul world core was.

Approaching it slowly, he loosened a faint thread of his soul from his soul world core and grasped it with his mind.

Leading it through his body, he directed it further until it reached his hand smoothly.

Taking a few steps forward, Shane stood right in front of the silver soul world core that began to vibrate slightly as well. Meanwhile, a familiar set of crimson-colored notifications appeared right in front of him.

[Soul world shows signs of desiring to devour the realm core! Does the host want to allow the ‘Hidden Paradise’ to devour the secret realm and grow?]

[System warning! The moment the soul world devours the realm core, the host will lose his ability to use the system, and possibly the ability to access the Primordial dimensions too!]

Instinctively, Shane’s body wanted to step back, but he readied himself to devour the soul world core.

Not only did his gut feeling tell him to do so, but his own soul world core’s reaction was more than enough to make this obvious.

As such, he released the soul thread from his hand as he touched the levitating silver core in front of him.

This caused a severe reaction of the silver core as it released a bright shining light, filling the entire room they were inside.

The silver soul world core clearly denied Shane and disagreed with his wish to devour it, which caused him to feel like the devouring process might not be as easy as he had imagined.
