Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 450: Wish

Chapter 450: Wish

Apparently, Shane and others had never heard about the existence of world bridges because the dimension portal prevented them from traveling to other planets.

This was quite interesting, but even more so was the fact that the planets were connected through world bridges!

They were just like his Space door, with the only difference being that they were mostly naturally generated by planets whose planetary core was overflowing with energy.

In order to balance out the massive amount of energy that could damage the planetary core, planets naturally generate world bridges and connect them with others.

However, those world bridges could be created artificially as long as one had the necessary materials and energy to do so.

The Dimension portals were one example of an artificially created world bridge, only that every Dimension portal was connected with each other and the Primordial dimensions.

Because of this, the profoundness of Dimension portals was much higher than ordinary world bridges as they had a set destination to and fro.

To achieve this level of working mechanism and complexity, the entire overflowing mana of certain planets would be required.

At the same time, in order to prevent unnecessary difficulties, dimension portals were mostly placed on planets that had yet to awaken a cultivation energy.

This was important to prevent the emergence of world bridges for as long as possible.

With that thought in mind, Shane tried to summarise everything for himself.

‘Without the dimension portals on Igra, the planet might have already created world bridges, connecting extremely dangerous planets with it, is that how it works?

Well..that is under the condition that Igra would have been able to awaken its mana heart without external help..

Furthermore, with world bridges that are not as severely restricted as the Dimension Portal,  strong beasts would have easily emerged on Igra, and mankind might have been eradicated long ago, ain’t that right?’

Somehow, this made sense, but at the same time, Shane felt overwhelmed by the sheer mass of information flooding his mind.

Sighing, Shane nodded his head before he looked at the Creator, who seemed less of an omnipotent being the more he looked at him.

If the Creator had been omnipotent, he would have easily gotten rid of other existences from outside the universe, let alone those beings inside their universe.

Scratching the back of his head, Shane pondered about something.

He was curious about the place Megane had been teleported to because it sounded like a good planet to colonise without being too restricted by the lack of resources.

However, at the same time, Shane knew that mankind would be too weak to fight for those resources.

At least, they did not stand a chance with their current strength.

But was that really something they should be afraid of?

‘If we stay lowkey while using the surrounding energies to cultivate properly, it might be possible to fight for resources, and maybe even establish a connection with other races and trade for goods….or is that too far-fetched?’

While he was pondering about certain things, Shane didn’t even realise that the Creator had used nothing but his words to influence the young man.

This was exactly what the Creator wanted, but at the same time, it caused him to shake his head.

‘He is still too naive, and doesn’t seem to know what betrayal is…. It looks like both Megane and Shane will have to fix their respective problems while growing up before they will even have the ability to face those monsters…’

Knowing that both Shane and Megane were far from perfect was only obvious, but the flaws the two youngsters had could kill them if they were to encounter the wrong people.

Megane had to learn how to trust others once again, and Shane had to learn the exact opposite; to question who to give his trust to because he was too trusting.

There were other things the Creator noticed too, but they were not so important.

‘If they meet, everything would become much easier…’ The Creator just thought, only to shake his head.

Both had their individual paths to walk upon, and he could only give them a small push towards the right direction.

It was not his task to create a forced encounter as it would most certainly backlash.

Out of a sudden, the Creator’s heart thumped wildly as several voices resounded in his mind. This caused his eyes to widen for a short moment, but he quickly regained his composure once again.

At the same time, the entire domain shook as the sound of several dozen beings reverberated through the domain, shocking Shane to the core.

Lifting his hand, the Creator flicked it and the divine palace around them disappeared, revealing the white clouds they had been standing on as well as the golden-silverish hue that permeated the air.

The Creator looked into the sky, and it was only after this that Shane noticed that something was off.

At a slow, yet steady pace the aura around the domain turned firmer and purer, enveloping the Creator.

Shane’s eyes quivered as he looked at the Creator, whose calm and nonchalant demeanor transformed completely!

Several bright shining halos manifested behind him, with the outermost having a black glow while one was crimson red in color.

His hair color was slowly changing to a silver-tone, while the color in his eyes turned a faint crimson, only for the Creator to sigh as he averted his attention to Shane.

The simple move of his head was already enough to manifest strong gusts of wind that made Shane retreat while the Creator’s naturally released pressure forced him to kneel on the ground.

“I’m sorry to say this, but I will have to leave now. There are a few unwelcome guests, and my soulbonds are unable to hold all of them back.”

Shane just nodded his head, without realising the Creator had just said ‘my soulbonds’ which would have shocked him because the roars and other noises originating from the beasts had been terrific!

Rather, Shane could only hear the Creator’s next words as he handed him a sapphire-colored stone with small engravings.

“Take this! Once you know your wish, insert mana into it while thinking about the content of your wish. Remember, I cannot do too much, otherwise, you’ll have to face even more problems than what you have right now…and those problems are more dangerous too!

Choose wisely, don’t die, and make use of the information you’ve received!”

Turning around, the Creator’s serious expression vanished as a faint smile caused his lip to curl upwards, only to mumble.

“Artemis, don’t be so restless, I’m already on my way…”

After that, he vanished, leaving behind a dumbfounded Shane, who was not sure how to return home.

Fortunately, only a few seconds passed before a system notification popped up in front of him.

[The host will be teleported to his previous location in |24 hours|. If the host wants to leave earlier, please utilise the system’s function properly!]

[Remark: Primordial Dimensions and System will cease to exist in 30 days.]
