Minister Zhang had an equally troubled expression. Getting into the second year wasn't a problem. There were several transfer students that did that.

Rong Yue smiled gently, "that must have been question 15 in the physics section, right? I already suspected that this was something out of our syllabus, but with the way he had phrased it, it would  make a person think that it's just some slightly harder question."

Hearing her reply, the other three were even more shocked while Dean Gao Chun nodded repeatedly.

"You are indeed a good one! A genius!"

While the five people were discussing on the second floor of the imperial restaurant, Feng Yan had a different reality.

Her aim was to get into QianXin University. Not only was it the top school, it was also the school that the rich and elite groups usually attended.

Feng Yan knew all of this and wanted it.

She had one goal, and that was to stand beside President Qin or, at least someone from the four top families. If she wanted to be useful enough for him, getting into that department was the best thing.

"Madame Feng, originally, it is rare to see a Dean writing a recommendation letter for a student to another university. Also, even with the both of us, it is still not enough.." one of the two deans said.

The four of them had eaten their meal first, and while waiting for the dessert, the conversation started.

"How can it not be enough? You are both highly revered." Madame Feng asked, a little agitated.

"It's like this, both of us can be considered Deans of Second rate schools, but our recommendations don't mean much to a first-rate school. However, if the both of us send, Gao Chun might want to give us face…"

"For us to send a recommendation letter for a major like that, your daughter needs to have at least 650 in her entrance examination."

She scored 620. For other courses, that was quite good and was more than enough. But for finance, it was nowhere close.

Feng Yan's face fell, and she pursed her lips.

"What do we do then?" If she told her husband that they hadn't been able to make it work… she couldn't bear to imagine his reaction.

"My only advice is to find the Deans from other schools and, most importantly, let her choose another major!"

The two Deans exchanged a knowing glance at each other. They had received benefits from Madame Feng just by coming here, but even then, they wanted her to fork out some more.

Madame Feng gritted her teeth but still pulled out two brown envelopes from her designer bags.

"The both of you would surely know the best way to go about this. Please help my daughter!"

The two Deans received the envelopes eagerly and smiled at her.

"Madame Feng, you are a very determined person, but this matter is very tricky."

"If you are really determined to enter the Department of Finance in QianXin, the next available solution I can give you is that she takes a major in that faculty. After that, she can then change her major in the second year."

Madame Feng was not much of an educationist, she had married into the Feng family because of her good looks and her ability to handle men.

For something like this, she was a little lost. However, Feng Yan understood what the men meant.

"Is that really possible?"

"Hmmm, if you pick the business faculty, you can take any major that your score would work for in your first year and work on building connections with the professors and seniors in the finance department. When you come out with a good grade, asking for a transfer would be easier…"

Feng Yan nodded in understanding and then thanked them.

Her mother felt that the matter was settled, and she also smiled with relief.

"Thank you so much for helping Xiao Yan. We will make sure to thank you when she eventually gets in."

The four of them chatted for a while before the two Deans left.

As soon as they left, Madame Feng turned to her daughter, "Is everything resolved already?"

Feng Yan's eyes dimmed, "Mom, let's keep finding someone. The admission process would come to an end soon enough."
