Chapter 354
Taurus decided to go into the Temple and try to cultivate there. The air in the Celestial plane was saturated with so much Mana and yin energy and it would take years for the meridians to properly clean and purify it before the Xian can start using it. That was what Taurus figured out when he can to the Temple. When he came here five years ago he was still at the GrandMaster first stage but in just five years he was able to move to GrandMaster stage two! That was an insane level of cultivation!
This was the first time that any Xian was ever cultivating outside of the Celestial plane so Taurus was the first person to figure out this trick. He decided that it was time for him to also shine! He has been living under his father’s shadow for years and now it was time for him to become even stronger than his father! Taurus has been the second in command of the Xian for more than ten thousand years. He has watched his idiot father place restrictions on them and prevent them from leaving their home. Why would his father not allow them to cultivate outside the celestial plane when it was obvious that the Qi in the celestial plane was corrupted with Mana!? His father was so afraid of other races and he would always avoid fighting with any other race even though they all knew that fighting would allow them to grow stronger!
This was one of the reasons why the Xian weren’t actively involved in anything in the temple. Even during the subjugation and death of the binaries, all his father did was watch instead of join! They were just wimps in Taurus’ eyes! His father was a wimp and it was time for him to change the leadership position! His father was in the fourth stage of the GrandMaster realm so Taurus would have to break through to the saint Realm if he ever wants to take over his father’s position. Taurus’ secluded training is supposed to last for a thousand years and if he can get into the saint Realm before then, then he will surely be higher than his father.
Taurus needed Qi energy for his secluded training. The celestial plane had a lot of unpurified Qi for him to use in his training but it lacked yang energy. The temple, on the other hand, was swimming in Yin and Yang energy, and the only thing he needed was purified Qi! The best way to get that was through living things!
And that was why Taurus summoned people from the planets he was in charge of and put them in the temple! Taurus also had the planets that he was watching over and it was easy for him to call some of them here. Taurus summoned five hundred thousand people from various planets. It wouldn’t be good to summon too many at once since that would make the other celestials curious about what he was doing. Taurus didn’t want anyone else to know about his training for now. If he only summons these many then the other Celestials will just think that he was punishing some people and they won’t bother to look in his direction.
As Taurus look out at his kneeling attendants, he had a frown on his face while counting them for the fifth time in the last one hour. One of them was still missing. He sent all five of them out a few hours ago to collect Qi from his cattle, like always, and they were supposed to be back an hour ago, but what is this? Why is one of them still not here? Is she trying to rebel?
“Where is your stupid sister? Don’t tell me she decided it was a good idea to run from me,”
The four girls shivered as they immediately tried to deny that fact. Their sister would never run away. The eldest one there was a beautiful auburn-haired woman that had a bountiful chest and smooth face. Her figure was perfect, and her posture as she knelt made her seem like a dignified princess. She immediately spoke up before their master could get any angrier.
“Our sister must be running late master. She will be back very soon, I assure you,”
“Will you take the punishment for her crime if she does not arrive in time? You know that I need that Qi before the hour is over. If I do not cultivate at the perfect time then I will be taking all your heads,”
The eldest went silent as Taurus said this. She knew that he wasn’t joking. If her sister doesn’t come back soon, then it will be easy for him to kill all of them and get new slaves that would help him to absorb the Qi from the cattle out there. But where could their sister possibly be? Did she really run away? No. Their master would easily catch them if they try to run away and their sister knows this. That means something else must’ve happened for her to be this late.
There was a sudden jerk from Taurus as he stood up from the rock elevation he was sitting on! He looked out into the horizon with furrowed brows and he felt shivers traveling through his body. What is this power? There is someone dangerous coming here! Someone strong enough to make me notice him! What is a person like this doing here? Don’t tell me that the other celestials already figured out what I was doing!
The girls kneeling down were all surprised by Taurus’ behavior. What could have made him react like this? Taurus immediately told the girls to stand up now! They stood up obediently and he told them that a dangerous person was coming in their direction! The girls couldn’t feel Han’s power because they were not up to his level so they had no idea what their master was talking about!
Taurus ignored them as he immediately sat back down and told them to give him the Qi that they absorbed. It didn’t matter if they can feel him or not! Taurus has to cultivate this Qi as quickly as possible to see if he can match this person! He didn’t know who it was but if it is a Celestial then this is bad. I can’t have them know what I’m doing here yet! My father can’t find out about this cultivation method yet!
The girls didn’t understand what was going on but they obeyed and put their hands out to pass the Qi they absorbed to their master. Once they passed the Qi, Taurus told them that they should go out and try to delay the person coming as much as possible.
“If you cannot kill him then try your best to hold him back. I don’t care if you lose a limb or if you die. That person must not reach here in the next five minutes!”
All the girls took to the sky and flew away from Taurus while Taurus started to absorb his Qi. He sent the Qi through his meridian and then he started to pass it through his body. Taurus was able to cultivate much faster now since what he was absorbing was the natural Qi of the world that wasn’t tainted by Mana. This Qi didn’t need to be purified so all he had to do was pass it through his body and allow it to strengthen him.
Taurus was sure that all the girls would die against this person that was coming. But he hoped that they would be able to hold him back for at least five minutes. Taurus can get more servants to help him absorb Qi later, but for now, let these useless servants serve as a meat shield for him!
Boom!!!
A loud sound echoed through the surroundings as a massive soundwave blew across the air! Taurus had to open his eyes immediately and stop his meditation as he looked at the person standing in front of him. What the actual fuck!? What happened to my servants!?
Han was looking at Taurus while flicking his hand to remove some blood. Han had been flying at supersonic speed and he couldn’t stop himself when four people suddenly appeared in front of him! His speed was so great that he flew right through them and they died as they burst into blood puddles! Some of the blood got on Han and Han was trying to get that off him. What a mess. He didn’t even see them before they died. Why did they just go and stand in front of him like idiots? Why were they even trying to stop him in the first place?
“Y-You… You’re not a celestial?”
Taurus was shocked once he saw that Han was a mortal. He knew that his servants were dead and yet this man didn’t look tired at all! His servants were all geniuses at the Peak Foundation stage! They were chosen personally by him since they would not die easily in a fight! But a mere mortal killed them this quickly, and he doesn’t even look like he exerted himself!?
Han was still holding the woman that he dragged with him and he threw her to the ground as she rolled to a stop at Taurus’ feet. She was groggy and she looked like she would die at any moment now. The speed that Han was flying at was so intense and she was barely able to keep herself conscious through all that.
Blergh!!
She quickly moved up to her knees and puked out the food in her stomach! Fuck! I-I feel like I’m going to die!
Taurus grimaced at the disgusting show. So this is where this stupid girl was. She was showing the enemy where to find me?
“Hey, you said you’re a celestial right? What exactly are you doing here? Are you the one that made all those towns and trapped the people in there?”
Taurus released a deep breath as he stood up and fitted his clothes properly. He was dressed in a long thick robe that really made him look like a cultivator and he put both hands behind him as he spoke. Han couldn’t deny that he looked sharp, like one of those young masters in xianxia novels.
“I am indeed a Celestial. One of the greatest of the Xian race. If you know this, then why are you not bowing before me? You, a dare mortal dares to come here and attack me? Do you not know that I made his floor into my personal cultivation grounds!? Are you courting death!?”
Han felt his hand jerk before he had to put his palm over his mouth to stop himself from laughing! Oh, Lord! It’s a young master! It’s a real young master! I can’t believe that there are people like this even in the celestial plane! I think this stuff is universal!!
