Chapter 132
The first thing Han noticed when he came to his senses again was that he was still in. City C. He was standing on top of a building overlooking a city. Well, at least it was once the city. Everywhere was destroyed. The houses and roads were cracked and there were even some trees growing inside the city. The skyscraper he was standing on was one of only five skyscrapers that were still standing!
What happened this time!? It looks like some sort of explosion destroyed everything!
Han shook his head and forgot about that for now. He was sure he would have time to figure it out later. For now, he had to find that man. He remembers the man saying that he would be in City C and that if Han wanted to fight he should come here first.
Well, here he was. So where was that man!?
“Ah. Father! You came! I wasn’t sure if it would be in this exact same place!”
Han turned around at the sound of a voice and his eyes widened when he saw Yue running towards him. She jumped up to him and wrapped an arm around his neck.
“Y-Yue! Yue, what are you doing here alone!?”
Han asked Yue this whole looking around to see if anyone else was there. But nobody came out again! This girl was here alone!?
Yue was wearing a large coat that covered her entire body and Han’s eyes widened in shock.
What the hell!?
“Y-Yue? What in the world? What happened to your arm!?”
Yue shrugged and Han’s eyes trailed over to the right side of her body to see that she was missing an arm. The sight of his daughter missing an arm made Han grow even angrier as he thought it was that man that did it. He was going to kill that man! He swore it!
Yue saw Han looking at her hand and she waved his assumption away fervently! This wasn’t even done because of Tyrian! It was something else!
“Father, I lost my arm when something happened after you left. There was an explosion across the entire city and I got caught in it, that was what made me lose my arm. It was too badly injured to salvage so I just had to get rid of it,”
Han’s face took on a difficult expression at how easy it was for her to say this. Did this girl always think about herself like this!? Han sighed as he realized he didn’t have any right to tell her off. He wasn’t here anyway, and she had to do what she had to to survive! He sighed with a smile before he bent down and grabbed Yue in a hug. Yue laughed and tightened her one hand around her father’s neck.
Once they separated, Han began to ask her questions. The first one was about how she knew he would appear here. Yue told him that this used to be his house in the past. Yue moved around a lot and lived somewhere else, but she made sure she came back here after five years to see if he would appear here. It was just her luck that he did.
Han was a bit shocked to hear that she survived on her own, but he understood that if she was one of the chosen then she wouldn’t fear zombies. The next question was why she didn’t tell him about being a chosen sooner.
“Well, I am one of the chosen. One of the first actually. My brother and I were summoned together and when we were told we couldn’t grow we were left with nothing. My brother didn’t ever take it well. He just went mad with his anger and then separated himself from the world. But I didn’t have that amount of anger. I didn’t want you to think that I just wanted to hurt you! I would never hurt you father!”
Han smiled and pet Yue’s head. He understood, but she didn’t have to feel that way. She might have lived for a long time, but her mind was still a child’s own!
Han chuckled internally ashe realized that his daughter was older than him! He shouldn’t think this, but this girl was a lolibaba!! Han laughed even louder!!
But his smile turned to a frown when he realized that she wasn’t smiling at him. She looked disturbed by something.
“Yue. Are you okay?”
Yue couldn’t help the slight pause that she experienced before she nodded. She knew that she shouldn’t be feeling like this, but she couldn’t help it. Tyrian was still her brother even after everything he did.
Han sighed before he looked her in the eye and told her straightforward.
“I’m going to kill that man. Do you have anything against it?”
Yue was a bit conflicted. She didn’t want him to die. The two of them were together for years. Training, laughing, and sometimes, just sometimes, Tyrian tried to take care of her. He was the only person she could rely on for a long time.
But she also knew that there was no saving him now. His hatred for the creator blinded him and made him go into the hands of REACH. The only way to stop him now would be to kill him.
So Yue shook her head and received the head pat that Han gave her with a sad smile.
“Oh, yeah. What about Rin and Lily? Even ping and Rina? Are they okay?”
Yue sniffed and tears filled her eyes immediately! Han didn’t need her to say anything else because he already understood… They were dead. Was it the explosion? Was that what killed them? If Yue was one of the first chosen then she was probably very strong. If even she lost an arm from that explosion, then it wouldn’t be strange for them to have lost their lives to it.
But if that was the case, then Yue has been living alone for the past five years? She was such a strong girl, wasn’t she?
Han brought Yue’s head to his chest whispered.
“Yue must’ve been very lonely, huh? You worked hard,”
Yue grabbed onto Han’s shirt with a shaking hand and buried her head in his chest as she burst out into tears. She was so lonely these five years! It was too cruel! There was no one to talk to and no one to be with! She missed them all so much!
Han waited for her to cry her heart out completely before he let her go and stood up again. He then looked into the horizon as he felt something approaching them at super speeds. Well, at least Tyrian gave them the courtesy of their privacy. It was good that this man was coming to him. Han didn’t have time to go looking for anyone!
“I’m going, Yue!”
Yue cleaned her eyes quickly and nodded while moving away from the building. She knew that whatever fight was going to happen here would cover the entire city. She didn’t have the power to stay near here when it goes down.
Han shot off the building and the entire thing shook under the power of his liftoff. He shot straight for the direction he felt Tyrian coming from.
Yue had to hold onto the floor to make sure she didn’t fall. She looked up and saw Han disappear into the horizon before a great shockwave blew across the sky as two figures collided.
Booom!!!!!
The battle has already begun!!
…
Han and Tyrian were locked in a fierce battle of strength in the air. Their hands were locked and they were trying desperately to push the other one back. Tyrian was smiling as he stared Han in the eyes.
“I didn’t think you would be here so – OOF!!!”
Slam!
Han’s head slammed into Tyrian’s face and Han grabbed him by the hand and threw him down to the ground. Who the fuck was going to talk with you, you piece of shit! If you wanna fight, then fight!!!
Boom!
Han flew down to the ground quickly to meet Tyrian, but Tyrian rose his hand up.
[Frigid Tundra] has been activated.
A giant block of ice suddenly appeared between them, but Tyrian’s eyes widened as Han simply broke through it with sheer force alone!
It was so shocking that Tyrian didn’t even notice as Han slammed his fist into his midsection with a yell. Tyrian flew back into the ground before Han kicked him into a building at the side. Han shook his hand and cracked his knuckle to get the feeling back into them while waiting for Tyrian to stand up again. He knew that wouldn’t be enough to take him out. It would’ve been too easy.
But instead of Tyrian, what Han saw was a great shadow falling over him.
[Roaring Meteorites] has been activated.
Ten large meteorites that were on fire flew down on top of Han and Han quickly flew back to avoid most of them. They slammed into the ground and Tyrian suddenly flew out from the dust cloud they blew up and slammed his fist into Han’s jaw.
Slam!!!!
