When Lu Mingshu reached the green jade valley, the doctor that Yu Wen Shi got for her had arrived at the same time.

She led the doctor inside to help her master do a checkup. After he finished, Lu Mingshu let Hui Niang bring him to her.

“Doctor Hui.” She stood up and bowed.

Doctor Hui was in his seventies, but he looked healthy and strong due to him being in the harmonization realm; it was as if he was only fifty.

Even though he was a well-known doctor, doctor Hui was still humble, and he returned the bow to Lu Mingshu.

They then sat down at the table, and Lu Mingshu got Hui Niang to get him a cup of tea. “Doctor Hui, how is my Master’s condition?”

“You can be at ease, miss. Your master is very healthy.” Doctor Hui smiled.

“What about his meridians?”

Doctor Hui observed her reaction before answering. “Miss, your master’s meridians was paralyzed long ago. Due to a lack of proper care being taken back then, it’s impossible to reconnect them now.”

~Don’t tell me she wants to make me reconnect them.~

However, as if Lu Mingshu didn’t sense that his apprehension, she continued. “I hope doctor Hui can help me maintain his meridians in a good state. Feel free to ask me for any cost.”

“Could Miss be more specific on the task assigned to me?” Doctor Hui couldn’t understand.

“Maintain the meridians in a good state which is convenient to reconnect them in.”

“Miss, it’s impossible! His meridians are already crippled!” Doctor Hui stared at her in disbelief.

“I’m just trying to see if there’s any solution.” Lu Mingshu refrained from speaking too much. “Doctor Hui just has to help me maintain them in a good state.”

But doctor Hui didn’t seem to be convinced. “I can maintain them in a good state. However, reconnecting meridians is almost impossible. Miss shouldn’t keep your hopes up...”

“I’m aware.” Lu Mingshu nodded. “I hope doctor Hui will keep this to yourself. Because I’m not likely to succeed, I am only trying my best. I don’t want my master to have false hope.”

Doctor Hui smiled and nodded. ~Good thing that she’s aware.~

“Be at ease, miss. I’m trustworthy.”

“Great.” Lu Mingshu smiled thinly and placed a few items in front of doctor Hui.

“Miss, this is.....”

There were three items on the table. A mystic crystal of a size pigeon egg, a book named <Cao Tang’s diary> and a pouch containing many things.

“Thank you, doctor Hui for your effort. This is a gift from me.”

Doctor Hui noticed the pouch first. As a Pharmacologist, he liked items related to medicine the most. He then noticed the book, which he assumed would be pharmacology related, ~Why else would she give that to me?~ And lastly, the small mystic crystal. ~Even though I am only in the harmonization realm, I’m still a famous doctor. Isn’t it a bit rude to only give such a small mystic crystal?~

~But of course, I should still be polite.~ Doctor Hui kept the gifts and bowed. “Thank you so much. I’ll leave first since I have to run an errand, and I will live up to my promise.”

“If my Master gets better, I’ll gift a heavier reward.”

“You’re too polite.” Doctor Hui shook his hand.

After that, Doctor Hui went back to the guest room.

He didn’t take notice of any of the items as they all looked normal at the start. But when he flipped through the book Lu Mingshu gave, he realized that it recorded all sorts of dangerous experiments between many different medications and the results. ~This is just what I need to improve!~

The herbs inside the pouch weren’t rare, but they were all costly.

What awed him the most was the mystic crystal. It wasn’t obvious, but if one took a closer look, he would realize that it shone differently compared to a normal mystic crystal. It was ten times more precious than ordinary mystic crystals due to its purity. ~If I were to sell it, I’d earn heaps of mystic crystal!~

Doctor Hui never thought that Lu Mingshu would gift him such good items. ~ I’ll thank her the next time I see her.~ Doctor Hui kept the items and make a note in his mind to do his best in treating Liu Jizhen.

Lu Mingshu intended to spend a few more days at the Green Jade Valley to see if doctor Hui was as good as Yu Wen Shi said. In the meantime, she started to craft the spell formation for the green jade valley.

In fact, the Green Jade Valley wasn’t a bad place for cultivation. It was located right next to the Blue jade peak. Because the ley lines of blue jade peak brushed right past the green jade valley, it wasn’t considered the best geographical position. Still, it wasn’t difficult to alter it into the desired area. All she needed was to try and connect the ley lines and put a spell formation in the green jade valley, and she could then solve the problem.

Lu Mingshu started to plan for the spell formation while collecting resources.

After watching Doctor Hui putting his heart into treating her master for a few days and doing a good job like what Yu Wenshi said, Lu Mingshu heaved a sigh of relief.

She packed her stuff and got ready to look for earth spirits.

According to her world, good ley lines needed spiritual items to maintain their quality. And the ley line spiritual roots was no doubt the best option. However, it was extremely rare. Once taken away from the original ley line, it would severely affect the original ley line’s geographical qualities. On the other hand, an earth spirit might not be as powerful as a ley line root, but it could forever maintain the power of the ley line. Thus it still wasn’t something that one could easily get either, even in the heavenly wheel.

The environment in her world was good, with an abundance of resources. But mankind never made use of them efficiently.

For example, if she put the earth spirit into her formation, it would add a perfect touch to the spell formation and upgrade the green jade valley in no time.

Early in the morning, she went to inform Hui Niang before bidding goodbye to her master.

It’s been days since she talked to her master. Seeing Lu Mingshu walk in, Liu Jizhen felt proud yet upset. Proud that she had grown so well but also upset that she’s getting further from him.

Hearing that she was going to look for earth spirits, Liu Jizhe nodded and double-checked some things with her. “Have you gotten the essentials from courtyard leader Qi?”

“He gave me this, saying that if I show this badge to the beast guarding the area, I will be able to get past.”

“Only that?”

“What?”

“The earth spirits might be a plant, but it can take human form and move around freely. How can you find them without a tool? And even if you do, they are all baby plants that have yet to grow.”

The news took Lu Mingshu by surprise. That wasn’t something she expected.

“He’s taking advantage of the fact that you’re uninformed. Go find him again!”

“It’s okay, master.” Lu Mingshu shook her head calmly. “When I went over to the truth courtyard, he was polite and said nothing about the baby earth spirits. What’s the point of going back to quarrel with him when he obviously had the heart to trick me?”

“You’re going to let this go?” ~Who was the one that has a temper? Even I wouldn’t let it go.~

“Yea, it won’t be worth it if I throw a fit again. Leave him be; I’ll make him pay double the price soon!”
