Zhang Zian looked at the time and reminded Lu Yiyun again it was about time to rinse off the bubbles. Once the water in the sink cooled down, it would be too cold for the cat.

Lu Yiyun followed his instructions to unplug the stopper in the sink. The water along with some dirt rapidly went down the drain. She then turned on the shower and rinsed off the bubbles on Jasmine using a sponge.

She started to sweat, wiped her forehead using the back of her hand, and didn’t even notice that some bubbles got in her hair. After confirming Jasmine was all clean, she turned off the shower, pulled a towel from the rack, and wrapped Jasmine up. Jasmine’s whole body was wrapped in the towel, with only her little face sticking out. She looked just like a cute chicken wrap that everybody loved…

The towel dried off most of the moisture from Jasmine. It was time for the dryer.

This is another obstacle in cat bathing. Most cats are scared of the huge noise from the dryer.

As a girl, although being a female Otaku, Lu Yiyun was great with dryers. Zhang Zian specially reminded her not to put on high heat, otherwise it would burn the cat’s hair…

In most circumstances, this step required cooperation between two people. One person would be holding a comb with one hand and the dryer in the other. Another person would grab the cat so it wouldn’t move around. If there was only one person, she could only dry the hair without combing. In that case, the outcome would be a lot less pretty, and the hair would be less fluffy. However, in Zhang Zian’s store, it only took one person for this task, because cats would not move around, instead standing still like a model and letting the owner dry their hair.

Tools were also available in all varieties. As drying began, one needed a wide-tooth comb to lift up the hair to make sure the skin was dried. Afterwards, it required a fine-tooth comb to smooth out the hair throughout the whole body.

When Lu Yiyun put down the dryer and comb, Jasmine looked completely different! When she held Jasmine up, her hair was as soft and smooth as cotton. Her hair smelled beautifully, like the fresh body soap.

The whole shower was completed within 40 minutes. If she was familiar with the process, it would’ve been even quicker.

“Thank you, Mr. Manager!” Lu Yiyun had Jasmine in her arms, very satisfied with the result.

“Customer satisfaction is the best gift to me,” Zhang Zian smiled. “If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to let me know.” He was surprised that his first customer in the bathing business went so well.

Aunt Liu kept winking at Lu Yiyun, trying to have her tell Zhang Zian that the pricing was ridiculous and she would never come back.

Lu Yiyun shook her head, “I am very happy with the service here. No comments.”

“That’s great. See you next time.”

She took a second and said, “I would like the same cat bag as Snowy’s.”

Snowy? Zhang Zian searched in his memory and realized she was talking about the camgirl Snowy.

“Oh, are you a fan of hers?” he asked.

She timidly dropped her head: “Not really a fan… I just watch her live show every time…”

Zhang Zian didn’t understand the logic behind her words. How come she didn’t consider herself Snowy’s fan, but she watched her live show all the time? However, he was glad that the advertisement worked. Deeply buried gold cannot shine.

He brought out the same cat bag as Snowy’s. Lu Yiyun paid, put Jasmine in the cat bag, nodded, and said, “Thank you, Mr. Manager. I will come back.”

At this moment, he thought of the girl in the jewelry store and started to understand her feeling. It feels good to have returning customers!

Of course, feeling good is great. However, he was too lazy to show Lu Yiyun out in the same way Su Min had done in the jewelry store.

After watching Lu Yiyun leave, he turned around and spoke to Aunt Liu, “Aunt Liu, it is almost noon. Why don’t you go home and make lunch?”

Aunt Liu pulled a long face. She stomped her feet, walked around the store and was about to leave furiously. All of a sudden, she spotted the golden cat playing with something really shiny.

“Yo!” she suddenly remembered, “A few days ago, my nephew’s daughter came to my house and lost her toy ring. She almost cried her eyes out! Look, your cat found it! She did me a great favor!”

She reached out to Fina as she spoke.

In fact, she wasn’t sure if that shiny ring was a diamond ring or not. It didn’t hurt to try anyways. What if it was a genuine diamond ring? That would be an excellent steal!

If the scene in front was a play, Zhang Zian would’ve been amazed by Aunt Liu’s quick-witted action. Although she was older, her brain acted quicker than many young people.

Of course, Fina had to guard her property. She caught the ring in between her nail, widely open her mouth, and screamed!

That was a sharp and powerful scream. A few kittens who had been playing started shaking immediately. The American shorthair cat in Aunt Liu’s arms was so scared that she urinated involuntarily! Urine sprayed from under her tail all over Aunt Liu.

Cats urinate in two forms. One is the normal way. The other is to spray urine. This happens when cats are in a fight or are frightened. The American shorthair was obviously greatly terrified.

Cat urine smells awful. It is very difficult to eliminate the smell once it gets on garments. In other words, the garment is pretty much trashed once it gets cat urine on it. Even cats cannot stand the smell of their own urine, so they were born to use litter to cover up the smell. That’s why they always covered up after urination no matter, if there is cat litter around.

Zhang Zian covered up his nose.

Wang Qian and Li Kun, the two silly guys, were happily surprised and screamed at Aunt Liu, “Oh no! The cat had the sh*t scared out of her!”

Aunt Liu had made herself a fool in front of those young kids. She was so angry that she slapped the American shorthair’s butt. “Damn cat!”

Hitting a cat in front of Fina? That was intolerable! That was worse than the most serious crime! She suddenly stood up, making a scary sound.

The American shorthair cat bit Aunt Liu’s hand on the thickest part of her palm.

Aunt Liu screamed – the cat bit four bloody holes in her hand. It hurt!

Fortunately, the cat let her go as soon as it bit her. She jumped off Aunt Liu’s arm as she was screaming, trying to escape from the store.

“You Damn Cat! Stay! Come back! I am going to kill you!” Aunt Liu covered up the wound and ran after the cat. Although she wanted to cut the cat into pieces, she would take her back because she had paid for it.

“Aunt Liu, don’t forget to get your vaccine for rabies! Can’t save money on that!” Zhang Zian yelled as Aunt Liu rushed out of the store.

The cat and the woman disappeared at the door. Aunt Liu’s scream was fading out. Many pedestrians stopped and didn’t know what was wrong with that middle-aged woman.

Wang Qian and Li Kun laughed as if they were watching a comedy. Well, they would have some stories to tell on the forum after going home tonight.

It was almost noon. Now having more customers, Zhang Zian could not close the store as he wished. He pulled out the money from Lu Yiyun, had Wang Qian go get some food, and also asked Li Kun to go get some chicken breast and chicken liver.

“I am not tipping you guys today, but you can stay for lunch. Go right back to school after we eat!”

Wang Qian and Li Kun were happily surprised, “Thank you, Master, for lunch!”

A while after they left, the escaped American shorthair quietly slipped in the store from a different direction and laid down right in front of Fina.

“I knew it,” Zhang Zian sighed.
