"What the hell do you think you're doing to my Aurora?!"
Upon hearing those words, Aurora's cheeks flushed red, her ears twitched at Gray's boldness.
Gray grabbed her by the arm, pulling her away from Axel's grasp before he standing up to him, chest to chest. Even after confirming that she wasn't harmed the expression on his face hadn't changed as he glared at the tower ahead of him.
p
Axel's group had surrounded them. Aurora who had noticed, was just waiting for the signal. But Gray knew better than to underestimate them there was no telling how many had abilities and what kind, especially when they were outnumbered, six to two.
At that moment, felt an intense amount of blood-lust being released out of Axel. He didn't need to look up to tell what sort of expression he was making. He remembered too well.
Axel's eyes grew cold and dark, as the smile on his face faded. "A mere dog… Dares tell me what to do?" Axel asked. "Accelerate."
*VOOOM!*
Axel's figure suddenly faded before Gray felt a series of simultaneous kicks connect at him from the side. His body was able to react as it bent back to dodge the first one, but as for the other two-
*Bo-Boom!*
Sounds aching to that of gunshots resounded throughout the area as Gray's body was sent flying towards a nearby restaurants wall in a burst.
He couldn't react.

'Ah... That's right. I was attacked.'
His ears were ringing, his body was aching and his vision was slightly shaky. Looking up, he could see a crowd gathered around, along with Axel's towering figure ahead of him.
Slowly, whilst Axel approached him, he got up. The temperature in the area spiked down wards as ice lances formed around Axel stopping him in his tracks. A frustrated look could be seen on Aurora's face as she propelled them at him.
But the smile on his face never faded.
"Accelerate."
[Accelerate]
Leaving behind a silhouette, Axel's figure vanished causing the lances to pierce through through the ground, freezing it instead.
At that instant, just as he had gotten up. Gray's eyes widened as Axel's feet came out of nowhere and suddenly sunk into his chest, causing him to crash through the wall into the restaurant in the process.
"What the hell man!? I saved up three days for that burger!" Shouted a customer who's table was flipped over from the burger.
The scene had caused a commotion.
"What's going on?"
"Huh? Are the kids fighting!?"
"Again!? For fuck sakes, can't that handsome fuck go one day without kicking someone's ass? Doesn't he know how much repairs cost!?"
Axel who, at the moment, was currently looking down on Gray, raised his badge up into the air, before saying. "I'm sorry for causing a disturbance. Do not worry, all those affect will be reimbursed appropriately for any losses."
He then proceeded to stomp on Gray's face. Before adding. "Don't worry I'll deal with this bug quickl-"
Axel was interrupted as a sudden kick was thrust at his chin from beneath. Gray had slipped out from beneath his legs, before pushing himself off the ground with his arms, propelling himself and the kick right Axel.
It was fast, however For Axel-
'It may as well be standing still-'
And yet-
*BAM!*
Direct contact. The kick connected, so cleanly that the impact seemed to send chills down his spine. He had moved his body to avoid it, only to realize that it was frozen in place. In fact, not even his eyes could move.
What was most bizarre wasn't the fact that there was no recoil, the fact that he hadn't moved an inch despite being kicked, or the fact that no sound was released but rather.
'I couldn't feel it?'
He felt no pain from the attack. There was no doubt, that this was Gray's ability in action, but for it to not even cause any pain, what was the point?
'This dog… He dare go easy on-'
[Unpause]
*WHAM!*
His body was lifted off the ground, as his head bopped back, snapping him out of his thoughts in the process. His body flew threw the air before he collided against one of the tables.
A shocked look could be seen on his face as he proceeded to stagger whilst getting up. His eyes widened once he glanced at Gray's barely balanced figure. Without a change in his expression, with bloodthirsty eyes, he dragged the words from the depths of his gut as he said. "Gray, I'll kill you."
Gray dropped down from the handstand, his hair covering his expression as he repeated. "Kill me…?"
A slight giggle broke out from Gray's mouth. The giggle slowly grew and progressed into a laugh.
"Hahaha… Ah… My head's finally cooled down… Kill me, huh?"
Gray placed his palm on his face, pulling back his hair as he raised his head.
Axel felt a chill go down his spine as he saw his expression. His cheeks were blushing red, he held the most brightest and innocent smile on his face as he said.
"Then.. Come and kill me if you can."
There was just something about his expression that seemed abnormal. Even if it were just a short moment, Axel felt fear towards him.
'Has he lost it…?'
But rather than that, what bothered him more than Gray's abnormal expression was… The fact that he felt threatened by it.
"You're just Gray…!"
He leaned in forward before shouting. "ACCELERATE!"
*VOOOM!*
