193 Chapter 192
*Slash!*
[You killed a Kessho!]
[You gained 130 XP!]
Gray slashed at the head of a tied up Kessho, instantly decapitating it in one swift swing. The Kessho's beside him all trembled and shivered in fear as they were the ones who Gray placed his sights on next.
Currently Gray was going from the top of one Airship to the other, decapitating the Kessho's which had yet to be killed.
He had decided to put going to visit the Angel opposition after killing them.
Why, you might ask?
'Look at all that EXP...' Gray thought to himself as he star ed at them.
To level up.

[You killed 3 Kessho's.]

[Level: 10]
[XP: 1980/2000]
With his blade soaked in the blood of his enemies, the horned ones watched as Gray [Pause-Stepped] and [Fast-forwarded] from ship to ship, killing the Kessho's before they could.
His face was covered by a mask making it so that they couldn't see what sort of expression he was carrying on his face.
But they could hear it.
The quiet giggles which resounded after every few kills.
[You killed 3 Kessho's!]
[You earned 400 XP!]
[XP: 2380/2000]
[LEVEL UP!]
[LEVEL: 10 ----> 11]
[XP: 380/2200]
[LEVEL UP OPTIONS!]
'Mute.'
[Muted.]
All system notifications and tabs disappeared.
Gray continued to go around killing as many Kessho's as he could whilst focusing on the task at hand.
THe longer he took, the more the horned ones one kill without him getting even a single bite.
What Gray needed the most right now was to not get distracted by any minor inconvienience.
[You killed a Kessho!]
[You killed a Kessha!]
[Kill count: 7 -> 8 -> 9 -> 10]
The kill count was slowly rising, Gray slashed and slashed, tearing through them without stopping for not even a second.
He was moving so fast through the countless ships that some horned ones mistook him for an enemy and attacked out of fear.
But before their attack was each close to reaching him, he'd appear on the next ship and repeat.
"Oi... Did you... See that?" One of the horned ones of Lara's crew asked her.
He was covered in blood... Rather it suddenly splashed at him as one of the horned ones he was about to kill dropped dead.
"See what...? You killing the enemy?" Lara asked, wondering if he was trying to brag about killing someone who had already given up on fighting.
She narrowed her eyes in disappointment.
"Well, not exactly. I wasn't the one that killed them... Didn't you see it?" He asked.
"I saw it." Said Kylo as he slowly got up.
Lara was both confused and surprised.
'Wasn't he asleep just now?' She wondered.
"Something flashed by just as you were about to kill them, killing it before you could." Said Kylo with narrowed eyes, as he looked to the left.
He was sat down, leaned against Lara and thus couldn't see where whatever it was had gone to but he had a good idea of what it might have been.
"Any idea what it was...? The other horned ones just now thought we were imagining it." Said the horned one.
Kylo went back to laying down.
"Don't worry about it, it was just Gray." He said with a yawn.
'What? Gray? But when did he?'
Lara had so many questions, but she put them aside as to not interrupt his rest.
"Gr...Ay? Who's that?" The horned one asked.
"...He's the one who gave the speech alongside Ru- The Empress."
The horned ones one the fleet suddenly shivered in fear as they heard her.
"So, you're acquainted with him?"
Lara nervously nodded.
'Why do they look so scared all of a sudden?'
"S-So not everything related to him is a monster... That's good..." The one closest to her replied with a relieved sigh.
Lara laughed nervously in response. 'Just what did Gray do to them?'
-
[Incomplete Time Stop.]
Everything became black and white.
All sounds subsided.
Gray had once again entered the world of frozen time.
Whilst panting to catch his breath he looked around making sure he didn't miss any on his way.
"Going through them individually is taking forever. I can't just blow up the ships because the horned ones are also here."
"Isn't there an easier way to kill them?" Gray asked himself.
He looked over at his hand, gripping tightly onto the Katana.
"Pause Level 5..."
[Authority Over Frozen Time]
"..."
[State your command.]
Gray wasn't sure of what to say. The only command he knew was break.
He could try out other commands but if he used the incorrect one, not only would it pointlessly waist his energy but it would also immobilise him, resulting in him losing the extra XP he could gain.
"Cancel."
[Cancelled.]
"Let's just do it the old boring way." He muttered whilst gripping the sword tightly.
He kicked off one of the ships, leaping rihgt towards the next one with his sword and arm raised overheard.
Upon reaching the nearest Kessho, he swung it down slashing right through.

[The flow of time resumes.]
Gray suddenly appeared seated back right beside Lara whilst staring up at the sky.
"Unmute." He muttered.
Not only Lara but all the horned ones on the fleet were startled by Gray's sudden appearance.
None of their reactions reached him however as his head was being bombarded with notifications alongside the countless screens which appeared before him.

[Level Up Options.]
[1 - Full Body Recovery.]
[2 – 300 Coins.]
[3 – Two stat points.]
[4 – Mystery Wheel Roulette.]
-
Gray's eyes flashed through the screens. Two roulettes and one mystery box. Other than that he could check in five stat points in total.
He wasn't sure what to pick. The mystery wheel was high risk, high reward.
The stat points were decent and safe.
The coins on the other hand, they wouldn't really amount to much of value in the shop other than consumables.
And there was no need to recover his body.
"What are you thinking about?" Ruby asked as she approached him.
Gray made sure to wipe the blood of his sword and since time was stopped, none of them had gotten on him so he was relatively clean.
He didn't look like someone who had just finished massacring over 50 people.
"Just thinking about what option to pick." He muttered.
"Option?" Ruby repeateded, slightly confused.
"Yeah, the sys-"
Gray's eyes widened as he realised, he had dropped his guard. He almost talked about the system.
"O-O-Options of where to go from here..." He muttered nervously, stuttering as he avoided eye contact.
Ruby tilted her head to the side while she continued to stare at him with narrowed eyes. He looked like he was hiding something.
But since he didn't want to talk about it, she decided to leave it alone.
"Well if that's the case... I understand."
Gray sighed in relief.
He had yet to talk to anyone about the system nor did he have any plans to. He just felt like telling them would be a bad idea in itself.
It was a crazy conept on it's own, but there was little doubt that they wouldn't believe him. Rather, knowing them, they would.
This all didn't mean he didn't plan to tell them.
It just meant he didn't plan to tell them now.
Especially with Charlotte staring daggers at him from the distance.
"Well.. I'll be off then." He said.
"Don't just run off-"
Gray vanished.
"Again..."
It was already too late, he was plummeting down towards the ground whilst kicking off platforms in the air.
He was propelling himself in the direction of the base like a cannon.
"That guy... He always does things like this..." She muttered with a dejected look.
"Is that one the reasons you like him?" Charlotte asked as she approached Ruby with the fan covering her mouth.
"I-I-I do not like... Like him!" She responded, her face blushing red.

*Sneeze*
Gray soared above the the buildings whilst repeatedly kicking himself off the Platforms.
He was approaching the outskirts of the city and had just about almost reached the base.
"I haven't been able to make up my mind on what options I'll pick yet, but I'll most likely go for the wheel spin."
"Let's spin it when I get there in case I'm unfortunate enough to roll 'Teleport to a survival zone' or something similar."
"I still need to check up on them."
