Chapter 319: The Angel Is Summoned
Chapter 319: The Angel Is Summoned
As Bloom kept running and evading the mayor's fierce retaliation, he totally neglected the map for quite some time.
"Damn! When did they appear?!!"
Yet after ten minutes of this relentless run, Bloom finally managed to create enough secure distance between him and the mayor's remaining few forces.
Since the mayor lost most of his forces, he started to act with more caution. This gave Bloom the opportunity to breath and check on the status of the caravan and the remaining part of the road.
But when he did so he noticed the sudden appearance of many white dots that were gathering in large numbers on the end of the road.
The road led to a very wide space before a giant forest appeared there. His caravan was almost about to get there and he was only five minutes apart.
"Are they reinforcements?" he couldn't help but turn his gaze towards the mayor and there he found a very irritating smile over his face. "Screw you!" he cursed, turning his steed around as he shouted, "retreat, all retreat at full speed!"
There was no time to be entangled with the mayor anymore. He even doubted he got the chance to get to his caravan in time. "Damn! So you were acting as a decoy," Bloom turned to glance at the persistently pursuing mayor while hearing his enemy's laughs echoing all around the place.
"I was fooled," he bitterly admitted to himself how nave he was. "As you are using your full force then I find myself obliged to do so."
Bloom was already about to lose everything and at this moment he found himself in front of one bumpy road and nothing else.
Instantly he opened his inventory and glanced at all the items he had. He also opened his profile and checked in a hurry every single thing he could use.
"The auctions," he didn't hesitate to open the two auction interfaces at the same time. Like a madman that was betting everything over a single number he started to place bids over anything he faced in his way.
Dark agent tokens, light agent tokens, even special items anything that could help him to conquer this ordeal he didn't hesitate in bidding and amassing inside his inventory.
"Come forth!"
And as he started to get near the end of the road and his own caravan he started to finally summon everything.
"Master!"
"Master!"
"Master!"
Beautiful girls stood alongside many agents covered in dark and white coats. There was no time for such greetings and the next moment he took out all the horses he stored so far. "Got on," he ordered, "and all without steed can start running now."
He had hundreds of dark and fallen agents, plus a hundred light agents gathered all around. His horses weren't enough for them, but at least some of the beautiful girls jumped over the horses.
He noticed the doubtful looks every side gave to each one but he didn't care. "Keep up, we have a fierce fight up ahead,"he said before returning to examine the map.
"At least five thousand are there," he narrowed his eyes and felt he was cornered in a place with no return. "Damn! Even if it costs me everything I won't leave here without that damned vault."
He closed the map as the end of the road was already looking from far ahead. He spotted his caravan stopping at the end of the road, while many dark silhouettes appeared far further.
"They are waiting," he noticed that despite his unsecured caravan reaching them, the forces there didn't attack. "Are they waiting for me? Or for the mayor?"
He turned to the back where the mayor was trying to catch up like crazy. He clenched his fists and made a rash decision. "Cut the head of the general and the soldiers will be powerless."
The mayor never stopped running even once. Despite having only less than twenty NPCs now guarding him he wasn't a bit less worried.
His enemy was finally cornered and despite having no power to kill that thief he was confident in his allies.
"Go and secure the caravan," Bloom ordered before suddenly turning his horse and started to run towards the incoming mayor and little guards beside him.
"Hahaha, are you going to die?" the mayor laughed before a scroll appeared once again in his hand. Bloom felt threatened but he never thought of turning back.
This was a do or die situation for him. "I'll kill you here," Bloom promised while opening his inventory and hurriedly took something out.
"Angel summon token: unique token that will summon lord grade angel NPC to fight alongside you. The angel will follow you for one hour per day, and you need to provide a hundred thousand light points to use it every time
"Ding! Are you sure you want to summon the angel?"
"Hell yeah!" he shouted before crazily yelling, "come forth my beloved angel!"
The next moment a very intimidating summoning circle appeared to his right where it flew ten meters off the ground.
It was made of twelve circles interlinking together. Red, golden, and silver white circles hovered on top of the ground for a couple of moments while following Bloom in his run.
"Rumble!"
The next moment a light pillar descended on the ground shimmering in golden, red, and silver white light.
Then a very stunning piece of beauty appeared in front of Bloom's eyes, hovering few meters above the ground.
She was ten meters in height, with an hourglass body that seemed to be curved so professionally with a passionate sculptor.
She wore a soft armor made of silver white tiny metallic circles. Her golden cape was so long that it even extended for meters beyond her on the ground, creating a very eye catchy contrast with her silver wings
Her silver golden hair kept waving in the air without the presence of any wing, but Bloom felt like a storm was there at her side.
