Chapter 309: Giving An Offer To The Mayors

Chapter 309: Giving An Offer To The Mayors

Just as Bloom was wondering about this, a loud shout came all of sudden from one direction that attracted his attention at once.

"Reinforcements impressive," he muttered when he saw the large number of foot NPCs army that appeared from the main road of the town.

"So they even cleared the rest of the monsters back there interesting."

He knew that the road was now flooded with monsters and the arrival of that army meant only it was large and strong.

"I like this mayor even more," he couldn't help but laugh. He turned towards the area of his own pets activity and started to move faster and in more enthusiasm.

After all there was no worry at all of getting overwhelmed by these monsters and the town was safe. The fight kept raging wild for the entire four hours straight, during which Bloom kept consuming stamina potions like he was eating candies.

And his forces kept grinding the monsters around relentlessly while the mayor's forces kept killing those who reached the town walls.

As for the reinforcements, as Bloom guessed they had a very large number exceeding ten thousand NPCs, and all seemed elite.

They kept killing monsters from the front, and like this the three forces kept eating up anything thrown on their faces with zero risk on the main town.

"Don't leave a single thing behind," Bloom kept giving instructions for his clones to gather up everything. After the fight ended he stood in the middle of his large army surrounded with nothing but emptiness.

And a large number of loot was still thrown on the ground and his clones were still working their asses to gather everything.

"Sigh, if not for the time needed for this skill to be reused again, I would have gained all by now," he couldn't help but mutter while glancing at the mayor who was now coming fast towards him.

And he wasn't alone, five more were running alongside him.

"Make way for the mayor," he shouted and his pets instantly obeyed.

"Impressive performance player," the mayor suddenly said, "my Blossom town is indebted to you and your forces," he couldn't help to glance at the dark pets all around before another mayor asked:

"How can you get such monsters and be on our side?"

"I've always hated the dark side," Bloom simply said in response, "and one has to adapt. At times of darkness it's best to use their own weapons against them, right?"

The other mayors exchanged glances in silence and no one said anything. They weren't all acceptable like the Blossom's town mayor, and Bloom just needed this man to be on his side.

"May I propose something?" he suddenly said and the eyes of the mayors glanced at him while the Blossom town mayor said:

"Anything, after all you are one of today's heroes."

"I can't help but admire the grand army here," Bloom openly said without coating his words, "and I have a business proposal for all of you."

"Business proposal?" one of the five mayors sneered, "you are speaking like someone who is about to go to war."

"Indeed I'm," Bloom nodded, "and this war is very important. After all, I'll fight against the dark side in their own lands."

The mayors exchanged glances filled with doubt and questions. "Can you elaborate further then?" the Blossom town mayor said, "don't be afraid of anyone here, as you can see they all share the same goal as you, the same hatred towards the dark side."

"Good, then I can speak freely," Bloom said as if he wasn't doing that in the first place, "I've got myself a fort in the battlefield, and I've got a big fight coming up in two days."

"F- Forte?!!" one of the mayors couldn't help but exclaim in shock, "how can a player like you obtain a fort at the outer battlefield so soon?"

"No you are mistaken," Bloom shook his head, "it's in the inner zone."

All of them glanced at him like they were eying a deadly monster. "This" the Blossom mayor didn't hurry to respond while moving his glance over the other five, "it's going to be a massive war, and we will lose a lot."

One of the five mayors picked up the end of the line from him as he added, "and we have to know what's there for us to participate."

"Twenty percent of the fort," Bloom suddenly said, "for all of you, plus one seat in the main council of the forte representing your force."

This time their shock was much deeper than before and even Bloom could see their agreement before even their tongues expressed it.

"That's truly a generous offer indeed," the Blossom mayor said but Bloom suddenly stopped him.

"There's another condition you need to know," he said, "I don't want you to be lured and assume I tricked you."

"What?" one of the mayors said, "I don't care about anything as long as you stick to your words and sign a contract with us."

"There is another war," Bloom suddenly said, "and this one is against one of the traitors."

"Traitors?" the Blossom mayor asked in doubt.

"Don't tell me you think all the mayors here are on our side," Bloom said before adding, "I've caught a group of traitors and they are now arranging a big war against me in one week's time."

"Kid... Don't think yourself the god of this world to judge others without clues," one of the mayors harshly said, before adding, "we all follow the sacred rules of the game, and you should do that as well."

"And it's the same system that asked me to do that," Bloom shrugged, "and I'm not charging others without evidence, I've already the needed evidence to convict them."

"Then why didn't you give it to the game and let our god punish them?" another mayor sneered.

"The game asked me to fight them and win," Bloom sighed, "it all started with finding evidence and now I was asked to defend it and ended up having this big war."
