Chapter 27: Noob's Doing A Research

She was so pretty, had a good voice, and also kind. Yue was clearly helping him out from the bullies. This would stop Volt from bullying which was actually unnecessary because Volt could never find him anymore.

Shen was grateful though, at least, someone was defending him. Of course, despite her beauty and her kindness, there were always people who did not agree with her or to be more exact, the haters.

Someone with a huge fan base would automatically have many haters too. The growth of fans and haters was relevant, the more fans one had, the more haters one would have as well.

While he could see her fans supporting her view in this matter, many people disagreed with her. Shen could see the hate comments in the comment section.

People started to call her a hypocrite, fake, to the point of calling her attention whore. Of course, such a comment would immediately be flooded by fierce resistance from her fans.

"Let's give a like to the video," Shen could not do anything to support but to press the "like" for the video. He was not in the position that could help her in that regard.

"Tsk, which lucky bastard will marry her?" Shen muttered in a low voice before he closed the forum.

"Now, let's ignore this stupid incident. I have to think of a way to get out of my current predicament," he was not in the position to think about other matters as he was in a dire situation.

If he could not find a way to kill the chicken or get away from that absurdly dangerous area, he would be stuck in level 1 forever. He had to restart his character to solve the issue. That was the last solution for him since he had a Legendary Class.

He was about to type "How to hunt the monster with a big gap level?" Maybe there was a pro in the forum that could help him with that.

The screen flashed as a name appeared on his screen. It was a ringing phone symbol and a familiar name, Dale.

Dale was calling him which was a rare occasion. He checked the time, eight-thirty evening, meaning it was still noon in the UK.

Shen answered the call and he immediately heard the loud and excited voice of his friend.

"Damn, Shen! You are quite lucky, huh!? My Goddess even defends you from the bullies!"

Shen scrunched his forehead as Dale's voice was too loud, "You call me just to say that?" He replied flatly, lacking excitement that the opposite of his friend.

"Just to say that!? Damn, Shen! We are talking about Yue, Goddess Yue. How can you not be that excited? Are you a eunuch? Especially after she defended you from those bastards!"

Shen certainly knew that his friend was talking about the perfect beauty Yue he just saw. He was grateful, but he was not that excited.

"I am going to close the call if you keep spouting nonsense!"

He was in a dire situation, he did not have time to listen to his friend's nonsense. Maybe, if he met with the person directly, it might make him excited a little and worthy of talking.

Now what he desired the most was to get out of his shitty situation without restarting the character. He did not want to lose his Legendary Class, especially since the class was a swordsman and also agility-focused attribute. This was a heaven-made class for him.

"Hah I forget that I am talking to you, Shen. You never get a celebrity crush, damn, you don't even know the name of the actors who play in your favorite movie. It's so wrong to talk about this to you"

Toot! Toot! Toot!

After saying that, Dale hung up. He said that as if not knowing his goddess was the most regretful thing in the world.

Shen shook his head, he was about to continue his search, but his friend called him again. He was about to ignore the call but decided to answer it.

"What's now?" He answered with a rather annoyed tone.

"Shen, seriously, are you okay? Does Volt still harass you?" Dale was joking around earlier, but now he was being serious all of sudden.

This guy was still his friend, after all, "I am okay, that Volt could never find me anymore now," Shen replied as what he experienced was nothing serious. That was the truth as he did not even know where he was now.

"What? Are you restarting your character? Where are you right now? Damn, that shitty streamer! Just wait for me to come back, I am going to shit on him. Ah, I can always open his stream, I am going to raid that guy!" Dale was bursting out as he mixed up his British accent in Chinese. Shen barely understood what his friend was saying.

"I thought you were not allowed to play too much by your father? And I also heard that changing a server is quite troublesome, you don't have to"

Before Shen could finish his words, Dale cut him off midway, "Do you think that troublesome things would prevent me from changing the server? Just wait, I will come back in a few months."

"Alright then, I am waiting. Oh, I actually did not restart my character and I have a secret for you as well"

'Should I tell him about the Legendary Class and the village I am in?' Dale was one out of two friends, the closest one, 'Nah, let's wait until he truly comes back. We will try to figure out together how to reach the village.'

"What is it? Why do you stop?" Dale's voice turned into suspicion as he questioned Shen, "Have you found yourself a girlfriend? What's her name? Can you send me her picture?"

"I will tell you when you come back later," Shen replied mysteriously.

"Tch, you are lucky that I have an appointment with my professor, if not I will nag you to the death," after saying that, the two exchanged a few words before they closed the call.

Shen shook his head after closing the call. He then looked at the screen and now at a loss, "What am I looking for?" He did not remember what he wanted to search for.

A secret mechanic? A quick way to level up?

"This is because of Dale," Shen sighed as he could not remember and opened the forum once again. After something, he decided to search for a mysterious village.

He typed "Mysterious Village" and tried to search it. He hoped that the village he was in was not the only mysterious village. Alas, he could not find the result, there was no single post mentioning a mysterious village.

Shen was trying to find out whether this mysterious village was a special case where a high-level monster spawned around. But he did not find any post that could help him.

"Ah!" Shen then recalled what he was looking for. He immediately typed it in the search.

[How to hunt a big level gap monster?]

When he searched for this, a lot of threads appeared on his screen. There were a lot of guides in the forum.

"This will be a long night for me," muttering in a low voice, Shen opened the first thread. He was not going to give up.
