Chapter 5303 Green Old Sixth

Chapter 5303 Green Old Sixth

The green parrot’s voice pierced directly into Long Chen’s soul, causing sharp pain. His mind-sea quaked, as if it were on the verge of exploding.

The voice wasn’t loud, but it echoed through his mind repeatedly as if it had become one with his soul. It was impossible to ignore.

Long Chen was taken aback. The fact that there was a parrot in such a strange place was bizarre enough, but this was no ordinary bird.

“Eh?” The green parrot tilted its head, sensing something unusual. It stared at Long Chen with curiosity.

“Interesting. I actually can’t see through your soul. You must have some treasure protecting you, or perhaps you cultivate a very unique technique. Little fellow, how did you end up here?”

Though his soul ached from the parrot’s voice, Long Chen had been on guard. Keeping his emotions in check, he countered, “And how did you get here?”

“Brat, do you know who you’re speaking to?! A strand of my divine will could turn you to dust!” The parrot’s eyes glinted coldly, and a sharp pressure suddenly locked onto Long Chen.

“Don’t be afraid! It’s just bluffing. It can only scare you with its aura,” said the Earth Cauldron.

Hearing that, Long Chen looked at the parrot’s fierce posture with newfound confidence. Without the Earth Cauldron’s warning, he might have been intimidated.

“Are you really that amazing?” Long Chen asked, feigning surprise.

“But of course! In front of Lord Sixth, all beings can only kneel! Little fellow, I see that you are blessed with exceptional talent and fortune. If you wish to pay your respects to me—” The parrot slowly rose and crossed its wings in front of its chest arrogantly.

“Fuck off!”

Long Chen swiftly kicked the parrot, his foot moving like lightning. Caught off guard, the parrot was sent flying. However, Long Chen winced as a sharp pain shot through his foot—his toes had broken on impact.

Long Chen was shocked. The parrot was smaller than a chicken but still managed to break his toes. And he hadn’t even kicked it with full force; had he done so, his entire foot might have shattered.

When Long Chen’s foot struck the parrot, six strange divine runes lit up on its body. These runes were what had broken his foot.

Furious, the green parrot’s feathers bristled as it started cursing loudly. “You little bastard, how dare you sneak attack Lord Sixth?! You little bastard, how dare you sneak attack Lord Sixth...”

The parrot’s voice reverberated through Long Chen’s mind-sea, crashing like thunder. It felt as though his head was about to split open, and he grunted in pain, clutching his head.

“You little bastard, how dare you sneak attack Lord Sixth?! You little bastard, how dare you sneak attack Lord Sixth...” The curses echoed endlessly in his mind, but the parrot hadn’t moved an inch. Its voice was like poisonous needles, tearing at his soul and grinding down his willpower.

Throughout his life, Long Chen had faced countless powerful enemies, but never anything like this. The parrot’s voice wasn’t a spiritual attack or an attempt to exhaust his will; it bypassed all his defenses and attacked him directly at his core.

None of Long Chen’s powers could block the voice. All he could do was endure the parrot’s relentless curses. Frustration and rage welled up within him, and he wanted to ask the Earth Cauldron why this was happening. Didn’t it say the parrot was just acting tough?

“Stay calm! This is a clash of wills. You can’t lose to it!” urged the Earth Cauldron.

Long Chen felt like his head was about to burst. After all, the parrot’s curses continued to echo, grating on him endlessly.

“You little bastard, how dare you sneak attack Lord Sixth?! You little bastard, how dare you sneak attack Lord Sixth...”

Unable to hold back any longer, Long Chen shot back, “You ugly feathered bird, do you only know one way to curse people?!”

The parrot immediately snapped back, “Who are you calling ugly?! You little bastard, do you know who Lord Sixth is?! When Lord Sixth dominated the lands, your ancestors hadn’t even been born yet!”

“Fuck your Lord Sixth! You’re Old Sixth, Ugly Old Sixth, Green Old Sixth...” Long Chen cursed in response.

He found that when the parrot responded, due to the distraction, the pain lessened a great deal.

“You’re Old Sixth!” screeched the parrot. “Your whole family is Old Sixth! I’m not old, I’m Lord Sixth!”

“Lord Sixth? Hmph, you’re so small, I couldn’t even make a decent bowl of soup out of you. You’re worse than a chicken...”

“Fuck, you dare to look down on Lord Sixth?! Today, if I don’t teach you a lesson, you won’t understand how great Lord Sixth is!”

The green parrot’s feathers puffed up in fury, and it spread its wings wide. Six glowing runes appeared on it, and a terrifying force blasted toward Long Chen.

Blood spurted from Long Chen’s mouth as the crushing power enveloped him. He felt as if he were about to be torn apart and couldn’t help but be shocked.

However, just as Long Chen thought he was finished, the runes on the parrot’s body faded. The parrot seemed momentarily baffled, then looked down on him arrogantly.

“Little fellow, that was just a taste of my power. Apologize now and kowtow three times, and Lord Sixth will graciously forgive your insolence.”

How could Long Chen possibly not see through this act? The parrot was clearly lacking the power to activate those runes. Yet, it still acted haughty.

Without hesitation, Long Chen stamped on the air and shot at the parrot like a bolt of lightning.

Startled, the parrot spread its wings to flee, but before it could escape, Long Chen grabbed it by the neck, holding it up like a chicken.

“If I don’t pluck all your feathers today, you won’t know who Lord Long San is.”
