Chapter 5073 An Even More Brazen Idea

“Is she your friend?” asked Bai Yingxue, staring at Feng You’s departing figure.

Long Chen nodded. “A very good friend. We once fought alongside each other.”

“You can bring her into the white dragon race if you wish. We won’t let her be bullied,” Bai Yingxue remarked.

Long Chen glanced at Bai Yingxue, recognizing the kindness of the white dragon race. Unfortunately, they often lacked the foresight to grasp the complexities of certain situations. He wanted to explain his perspective, but he found it difficult to articulate. Even if he did explain, it was perhaps meaningless. Some truths were inherent within each race, and no amount of explanation could change that understanding.

“If she wants to leave her predicament, I will help her. But my assistance is limited. If you think of her situation as being trapped in a hole, I can’t pull her out—I can only offer her a rope. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem ready to reach for it, or I would have thrown it to her by now,” Long Chen said, shaking his head.

Bai Yingxue looked puzzled, but Long Chen didn’t bother explaining any further. They continued onward and quickly arrived at an enormous plaza.

As they walked through the gate, Bai Yingxue gasped in astonishment. A vast sacred qi struck them head-on. If the might of a three-vein Heaven Saint was like an ocean, this felt like an entire cosmos. The pressure of a three-vein Heaven Saint seemed as tiny as a grain of sand in comparison.

Even Long Chen felt a tremor in his heart. He had never encountered such immense sacred qi before; it made him feel small and insignificant, as if he could only look up in awe.

Raising their heads, they saw two enormous divine statues towering loftily in the sky. They were like ants in front of it. Divine light cascaded from the statues, illuminating the sky, while countless lifeforms from various races prostrated themselves in worship, their devotion undeniable.

These statues depicted Lord Brahma and Fallen Daynight. Lord Brahma’s statue held a divine diagram, akin to a scholar holding a scroll. Its expression was calm and graceful, with stars seemingly flickering in its eyes. In contrast, Fallen Daynight’s statue grasped a pill furnace in one hand while forming a seal with the other. Though its eyes were closed, a murderous aura exuded from it, instilling fear in anyone who dared to gaze upon it.

The divine statues radiated such an overwhelming sacred presence that even those who didn’t follow their teachings felt compelled to kneel. Their aura instinctively instilled a sense of subservience in all who stood before them.

“Their auras are suffocating; it makes me want to bow down. I feel like I can only find peace after showing my respect,” Bai Yingxue admitted, her voice trembling slightly.

These two statues were truly shocking. She felt that standing in front of them was a kind of blasphemy, and she would only be forgiven after kowtowing.

“If you had consumed the medicinal pill they gave you, that desire would have been even more intense. But don’t worry too much about it. These are inheritance divinity statues, so it’s normal for them to exude such an aura,” Long Chen explained.

“What is an inheritance divinity statue?” asked Bai Yingxue, intrigued by the term.

“An inheritance divinity statue channels the faith energy of followers to their god. When people worship a statue, their faith energy flows to their god. There is another kind of divine statue called a divinity inheritance statue. Through them, the gods could transmit their energy back to their followers, either helping them increase their realm or bestowing them with greater power. However, most god cultivators only take, not give, so divinity inheritance statues are rare. What enters their pocket doesn’t come out for free. These two statues have accumulated countless years of faith energy. Before Lord Brahma and Fallen Daynight take that energy, it will continue to accumulate. Thus, this vast pressure is normal,” elaborated Long Chen.

Bai Yingxue stared at Long Chen with admiration, “I’m amazed by how much you know.”

Long Chen smiled faintly. As he had dealt with them from the mortal world to the immortal world, it was only natural he knew this much. He had even pissed on top of them.

Suddenly, a brazen idea crossed his mind. If he could piss on these two statues’ heads, it might send shockwaves throughout the Sovereign Emperor Heaven, making a name for himself in the process.

“Can’t you think of something better?” interjected the Earth Cauldron suddenly.

“Senior!” Long Chen exclaimed, startled. The Earth Cauldron could actually tell what he was thinking through his spiritual fluctuations.

“Why not smash these two statues and claim their faith energy? That would truly upheave the Sovereign Emperor Heaven,” suggested the Earth Cauldron.

“Alright. As long as you support me, I’ll do it,” declared Long Chen. Just who was Long Chen? He always had guts big enough to do anything. If the Earth Cauldron had the audacity to propose such a plan, then he had the courage to execute it.

“Breaking the statues isn’t the goal. I want their faith energy. I don’t know if I’m being influenced by you, but I also don’t want to walk the normal path anymore,” grumbled the Earth Cauldron.

The Earth Cauldron had always been meticulous and cautious, avoiding unnecessary risks. It secretly considered taking risks to be foolish.

But after being with Long Chen for so long, it found that with Long Chen’s bad luck, only through taking risks could he gain anything. The greater the risk, the greater the gains.

Now, the Earth Cauldron was tired of the sure and steady way of advancing. After drinking only soup for so long, it wanted to eat some meat. As these two statues contained an enormous amount of faith energy, it was equal to the most delicious piece of meat for it.

In comparison to this piece of meat, what the Earth Cauldron had gained in the Long clan was the leg of a mosquito. The main thing was that this piece of meat could be devoured by the Earth Cauldron, making it extremely tempting.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

“Alright. Then prepare yourself. While the people are careless, we’ll smash it,” said Long Chen excitedly, about to attack right now.

The Earth Cauldron hastily interjected, “Hey, hey, don’t be impetuous! You can’t just smash and go! Use your brain! Remember, your target is the Heavenly Flame Devil Domain. If you are going to smash these statues, you have to wait until you are done with the main mission.”

“But I really hate looking at their statues,” replied Long Chen.

“Even so, you have to endure it,” advised the Earth Cauldron.

Bai Yingxue simply watched as Long Chen’s expression changed several times. At first, he appeared angry, then excited, and finally regretful. She was completely baffled, unable to comprehend what was going through his mind.

Suddenly, a beautiful zither melody filled the air. Long Chen’s soul quivered slightly upon hearing it. He hastily looked over and saw a familiar figure atop a large stage.
