Naked Sword Art

Chapter 323: Demon

[ 7th floor of the Ancestral Training Ground ]

Before entering the 7th floor of the Ancestral Training Ground, Xiao Fang had wrapped his head and the hilt of his sword in black cloth to hide his identity. He knew Supreme Elder Song didn't go straight to the Ancestral Training Ground like he did, so that gave him a bit of time to figure out what to do.

[ Stealth ]

...

Meanwhile, standing outside of Supreme Elder Quan's residence, Supreme Elder Song waited for her to come out, but her patience quickly grew thin.

"Oi, Supreme Elder Quan, hurry it up!" She shouted.

Eventually, Supreme Elder Quan came out, but she didn't look anything like she usually did.

"What the hell, why are you dressed like that?" Supreme Elder Song said while looking at her strangely.

She didn't look like she was going to fight a dangerous beast but to court a man instead.

"Why what's wrong with it?" Supreme Elder Quan said worriedly.

"Forget it, let's just go," Supreme Elder Song rolled her eyes while turning to leave.

"Wait, before we go, there's someone I need to meet," Supreme Elder Quan said.

"What?! You can't be serious," Supreme Elder Song said, looking as if she wanted to hit her.

"I can meet you in the Ancestral Training Ground in about 30 minutes, no, and hour. Give me an hour, I'll be there."

Supreme Elder Song clicked her tongue 3 times as she shook her head disappointedly. Turning her body, she suddenly shifted then disappeared.

"One hour, don't be late."

With her gone, Supreme Elder Quan finally looked to a direction. That direction being the location of the Nameless Guild.

Coming out of [ Stealth ], Xiao Fang entered the cave he knew his Abnormal Cannibal beast resided in, but before he could get in too deep, he could eventually hear fighting deeper into the cave.

'Did she already find it?' Xiao Fang thought, but when he focused on his hearing, he knew that wasn't the case. It wasn't Supreme Elder Song that was fighting the Abnormal Cannibal beast, but 2 girls he didn't recognize instead.

'It seems someone has already discovered my secret,' Xiao Fang thought before going deeper into the cave.

Even if he was just a [ Solid Clone ], creating one used up too much of his Illusory Qi, so he didn't want the one he was currently in to get destroyed.

*Ching~ Ching~ Paa~ Kacha~*

The sounds of the fighting got louder the closer he got, but Xiao Fang became less tense when he realized the Abnormal Cannibal beast wasn't doing too bad on its own.

"Dammit, Grandmother, why is this thing so strong!?"

"Stop messing around! Wait for it to get exhausted."

Finally reaching the end of the tunnel, Xiao Fang stopped to take a peek at the 2 women fighting. The younger one was wearing a Core Court disciple's uniform while the elderly woman was wearing something that was not from this sect. He really had no clue who they were, but there was one thing he did recognize, and it was the claw-like weapon on one of the Elderly woman's hands.

'These girls are from the Chaos sect,' Xiao Fang thought as his killing intent escaped his body uncontrollably, but he quickly concealed it.

Although it only escaped him for a fraction of a second, if they were really from the Chaos sect, he knew it wouldn't be enough.

[ Stealth ]

Feeling Xiao Fang's killing intent, the grandmother quickly turned around, but there was nobody there.

'Sneaky bastard,' she thought.

In the next moment, she used her observation technique in hopes to quickly find Xiao Fang's body.

[ Soul Search ]

However, since Xiao Fang's consciousness was in the body of a [ Solid Clone ], there was no soul for her technique to find.

'Was I imagining it?' she thought, but in the next moment, she heard her granddaughter's scream.

"Aghhh!" The Core Court disciple shouted in pain as she was suddenly cut from behind.

In the next moment, the Abnormal Cannibal beast sent her flying with a punch, making her crash into the cave wall, knocking her unconscious.

"Yue'er!!" the grandmother screamed.

She tried to quickly jump to her granddaughter's aid, but the moment she did, Xiao Fang came out of [ Stealth ] again to attack her next.

"You-"

Just narrowly avoiding Xiao Fang's sword, the grandmother slashed at him twice, but she just narrowly missed Xiao Fang as well. Not willing to spare another second on him, she quickly ran towards her granddaughter to stop the Abnormal Cannibal beast from finishing her off.

'You think it will be that easy?' Xiao Fang thought.

{"Cannibal, help me defeat this Elder first!"} Xiao Fang said to the Abnormal Cannibal beast through a spirit transmission.

Shocked to hear Xiao Fang's voice again, it quickly turned to see the grandmother closing in on it, and Xiao Fang close behind her. The corners of its lips curled up as it changed its target.

Forgetting about the granddaughter, Xiao Fang and the beast attacked the grandmother together. The Abnormal Cannibal beast was already too much for her to handle alone, but coupled with Xiao Fang's crafty swordsmanship, it didn't take long till she was pushed to a corner.

"Stop! Why are you attacking us!?" the grandmother shouted.

"Who was it that invaded my cave, and attacked my pet? What I do to you is within my right," Xiao Fang replied.

Considering all the pent up anger he had towards the Chaos sect in that moment, this was a pleasant sight to see. He wasn't in the mood for talking, but there were still things he needed to know.

The grandmother couldn't understand why Xiao Fang was being so unreasonable, but since she was in such a hopeless situation, she knew she couldn't afford to offend Xiao Fang any further.

"How were we supposed to know this was your cave? How were we supposed to know that was your pet? Young man, shouldn't you be a little more reasonable?" the grandmother said.

"So what if you had no way of knowing. Crossing paths with me was your fate. You only have your bad luck to blame," Xiao Fang replied uncaringly.

There was a term used in the Chaos sect to describe people like Xiao Fang, the kind of people the grandmother despised. She knew in his eyes, people were no different than ants. No joy would come from stepping on them, but he wouldn't think twice about taking a step if any found their way under his foot.

"You… you're a demon."
