"I can't see Teacher's stats either." He sighed inwardly and moved his eyes toward a brown-haired girl in the front row.

'57 Physical Power. I have a total of 45 but with Devlin Might, I get a 20% stats points boost which brings my Physical Power to 54. It's going to be my first real fight with a human that is also around my level."
He was contemplating the stats points when Milena West's next sentence brought his attention back to her.
"I have received news from the school that Talia has challenged Rio. It's a battle between two young children of the Seven-Silversword's family. There is going to be a ruckus during this match so I have been assigned as a judge for this friendly battle.
Since theory class is over, join the '1 A Golden Seal' private room in the Kingdom of Beast using the VR pods." Teacher Milena instructed everyone.
Students were thrilled and waiting for this duel for a week. When they heard it was going to start, students didn't waste time and started moving toward one of the VR pods.
Some of them even informed the school group to inform other students about the duel time as it was a hot topic for a week.
Talia asked in a requesting tone, "Teacher, can I join using the VR pod at my apartment."
"Okay... but be there within 10 minutes." She allowed her in a commanding voice.
Talia left the class to depart for her room.
Rio also questioned teacher Milena for the same which she answered with a simple gentle nod.
He left the class and traveled toward his apartment.
It wasn't like Rio wasn't worried but he knew Talia wouldn't be a harder opponent than those Emperor spirits he fought before since he had already inspected her stats.
He entered his room and went for the VR pod before laying down on a reclining chair.
Rio put the head mounting device and pressed the start button as his AI watch flashed and a notification rang in his mind.
[You're now connected to the VR Helmet.]
There was an option for login which he picked and a colorful parallel line transition happened before the boy was standing in an empty white room.
He looked for an option to join the private room and teleported to the '1 A Golden Seal' private room.
Rio appeared in a spacious place at the old coliseum where he had his first battle training class.
Other students had already taken a good seat.
His eyes glinted with surprise when he saw there were around 400 students instead of 48 filling many seats.
Rio wasn't a fan of unnecessary attention and crowd but he was helpless to avoid it while being the adopted son of the Havenglow family.
A figure soon appeared beside him, it was the brown-haired girl, his opponent for today, however, she frowned looking at the white-masked guy.
Unlike before, he kept his face covered this time as he saw the crowd.
Rio moved his eyes toward the judge of the match, who was standing a few meters away from him.
"Select the 'Enter Battle' from your menu." Teacher Milena instructed the duo.
She already knew it was Rio behind the mask and his username as Milena received notification that EastWind joined the private room.
They both nodded and appeared twenty meters apart In the middle of the arena covered in grassland.
Students seated around the stadium cheered seeing the duo appearing on the Battlefield. They started discussing in themselves the upcoming duel.
"Why is there so much Crowd for this match?"
"How do you not even know about this? It's the hot topic around the school."
"What are you talking about?"
"The youngest daughter of the Mailon family was insulting her big sister when Nyla's ex-fiance jumped in to save her. It escalated into a duel. Moreover, that Romeo is only at the yellow stage while Talia is at the purple stage."
"Oh, then he has no chance against her."
"Are you forgetting about the event that happened three years ago when one of the Havenglow family members crushed geniuses from the senior years?"
"But She was Lily Havenglow. This boy has only been adopted for less than 3 months into the Havenglow family and I have heard he has no innate talent which was the reason the Mailon family broke the engagement."
"He can't be a nobody while being a Havenglow even if he is adopted. Moreover, Mailon Family is bullying the childhood sweethearts. We want justice for the young love birds."
"That's interesting..."
"I know, right."
"Rio.... go and crush Talia Mailon who dared to insult your girlfriend."
The commotion was going wild with its entertaining gossip as it was supporting both parties.
The audience focused their attention on the battlefield while they kept talking to their friends.
Rio would've been nervous if it was before, but he didn't show many reactions and stayed composed.
"Are you two, ready?" Teacher Milena's voice sounded around them.
"Yes," Talia replied with a confident expression.
However, a voice declined, "Not yet."
Crimson-haired boy's refusal caused a wave of laughter and whisper to transpire in the audience.
"Is that masked guy Rio Havenglow?"
"Yeah...he is looking cool with that white mask and black armor."
"But Why did he decline?"
"Haha...Mama boy is scared."
"As expected of the Trash son of the Havenglow family."
"Shhh...Don't go to a conclusion on your own. He must have another reason."
"Yeah, let's hear what he has to say."
***
Teacher Milena waited for his response as she stared at him from the spacious place at the higher location in the arena where seats were located.
"You're forgetting to declare the wager for this battle." He spoke in a stiff voice.
Hearing his response, Talia's face flickered with a hint of bitterness.
Teacher Milena also raised her eyebrows, but she calmed down and nodded as she really skipped to announce the stake of the duel.
"This match was proposed by Talia Mailon on a basis of a bet. If she wins the stake, Rio Havenglow would apologize to her but if she lost, Talia Mailon would ask for forgiveness from her older sister. Do you both agree to this wager?" She asked after announcing the wager to the audience.
Talia nodded with an annoyed expression along with Rio who had a calm look.
"Ready?" Teacher Milena asked again.
This time no refusal came against it.
"...3"
"...2"
"...1"
"...Begin." Teacher Milena announced the commencement of the battle.
