Chapter 322
Shen Weiwei clenched her fists, gritted her teeth and held back. She then fled in a hurry.
But in the empty elevator that was about to close, she couldn’t help but blush from anger.
“Wait–”
Someone was shouting outside the elevator.
Shen Weiwei remained motionless. Just as the elevator doors were about to close, they clanged. Seeing a sturdy man wearing a black hat come inside the elevator, Shen Weiwei took two steps back.
When the elevator doors closed, the man couldn’t stop looking at Shen Weiwei who was behind him. After looking at her for a while, he smiled with unabashed happiness. He turned around and excitedly asked, “Are you Miss Shen Weiwei?”
Shen Weiwei was slightly stunned, then a professional smile quickly appeared. She knew in her heart that she had probably met a fan of hers as she nodded her head.
“Hello, Miss Shen, I’m an avid fan of yours and I have liked you for a long time. Can you…” He fumbled and stuttered due to nervousness. Realizing he forgot to bring a pen and paper, he took out his mobile phone. “Can you take a picture with me?”
Shen Weiwei saw the color of her eyes on the reflection shown on the elevator and said, “Sorry, It’s… It’s not very convenient right now.”
The man glanced at Shen Weiwei and finally noticed her flushed eyes. His eyebrows narrowed dangerously. “Miss Shen, what’s the matter with you? Did someone bully you?”
As he said this and thought about its possibility, he became angrier.
Shen Weiwei pursed her mouth and shook her head.
“Miss Shen, don’t be afraid. Tell me who bullied you, I’ll make him regret it!”
When Shen Weiwei was caught off guard, the man became inexplicably excited.
Shen Weiwei frowned and glanced at him, then raised her eyebrows slightly. After contemplating, she said, “I… I’m really fine.”
She purposely said this with a choking voice.
The man became anxious when he heard it. “Weiwei, don’t be afraid! I know that many people have said some slanderous things to you during the recent period, but I know you aren’t such a person. Tell me, who bullied you?”
Shen Weiwei smiled sadly and said after a moment of silence, “Actually, no one bullied me. It’s just that when I was re-auditioning upstairs just now, the role of the female lead which was supposed to be mine was snatched away. However, this kind of thing has long been seen in the entertainment industry. So, it’s no surprise.”
“Someone snatched it away from you?”
When the man heard this, he became indignant and took a step forward excitedly. “Who took it away from you? Who dares to grab your TV show?!”
If Shen Weiwei had taken the time to look closely, she would have noticed that he looked crazy and insane.
Shen Weiwei shook her head. “It’s all over, it’s boring to mention it again.”
“No, please say it! You must tell me! Maybe there’s something I could do to help. Tell me, who took it away?!”
Shen Weiwei remained silent for a moment, then turned her head and looked up to wipe away a tear.
“Ji Qingqing.” Her eyes were red and swollen as she reluctantly smiled. “But it’s no wonder… her fiance is Lu Lixing, the head of the Lu family – how can I win against her? Forget it, I’ll just work harder next time.”
“Ji Qingqing? As long as she gives up the show, can you…”
Ding——
Before his words were finished, the elevator door opened.
Three people entered from the fifth floor, talking and laughing. They didn’t care to notice the people in the elevator.
The man knew that there were too many people now, so he couldn’t talk anymore. He could only quietly watch as Shen Weiwei stood in the corner wiping her tears away. As he saw her pitiful appearance, his fists clenched in anger and his whole body trembled.
When she arrived on the first floor, Shen Weiwei gave him a bleak smile and briskly walked out of the elevator.
The man stood alone in the elevator. Looking at Shen Weiwei’s disappearing back, he had a hideous expression on his face.

Ji Qingqing talked with Director Ren about the script upstairs for a while before getting up to leave.
Director Ren and Lin Zhen sent her out. Smilingly, they shook hands with Ji Qingqing in front of the actors waiting for the audition outside the door and bid goodbye. Director Ren said, “I’ll contact you again after things have been finalized. Miss Ji, happy cooperation.”
“Happy cooperation.”
After the work was settled, Ji Qingqing became refreshed. The blankness in her heart was gone and she felt at ease. Ignoring the curious and inquiring gaze of the people around her, she took the elevator and went downstairs.
When she got to the parking lot, Ji Qingqing went toward her car. But the moment she opened the door, her smile froze on her face.
At her co-pilot seat sat a man in a black hat, holding a short knife in his hand, looking at her with murderous eyes.
Ji Qingqing turned around subconsciously to flee, but the man held her wrist forcefully and pulled her into the car, closing the door behind her.
Ji Qingqing looked at the vicious man alertly. “You… what do you want to do?” Ji Qingqing cautiously asked, trying her best to make herself look less nervous.
The man looked at her with a gloomy face and said, “What do I want to do? I should ask you – what do you want to do?! Why did you snatch the role from Weiwei? You already have a good husband yet, why do you still want to grab Weiwei’s role? Do you know how hard it has been for Weiwei?!”
As the man asked her, he became excited due to anger. The short knife in his hand was forced on Ji Qingqing’s neck. His eyes were flushed and he looked desperate.
Ji Qingqing leaned against the car door. She tried to pacify the man as much as possible. “Grab the show? How do you know?”
“It turns out that all of this was true, you really robbed Weiwei’s role! Weiwei… her acting skills have always been good! What tricks did you use to squeeze her out?!”
Ji Qingqing frowned, stared at the knife held by the man, and told herself to stay calm.
She touched the phone with her hand behind her back and unlocked it sneakily while talking to the man. She said, “Since you said that Shen Weiwei has good acting skills, she will definitely encounter a more suitable script in the future. What are you worried about?”
“You fart! Even if Weiwei encounters a more suitable script, it will be snatched away by you again!”
The man became more and more excited. “For someone like Weiwei, it’s not easy to be in the entertainment industry. She has no backer. You’re such a shameless person, bullying her like this!”
The tip of the knife was about to strike at her. Ji Qingqing subconsciously turned her head and yelled. Holding the mobile phone behind her back, she hurriedly pressed the button which led to the contact list.
