My Virtual Girlfriend Is Actually a Lady From the Richest Family

Chapter 178: United States

While David was silent, Erza showed him the screen of her cell phone.

It displayed a picture of a very beautiful woman, having long white hair.

She was clearly a middle-aged woman in terms of age, but still looked like she was in her early 30s.

Her skin was pale white, clear as snow. She had a face that could not be criticized at all because of its extremely perfect structure.

Her chin was pointed while her eyes were sharp though somewhat round, bright red in color.

She was wearing a luxurious and rather tight yet elegant white dress.

Only, her expression seemed too cold, as if she was a fierce woman.

This was unlike Evelyn who was only cold on the surface, which was really only because she was indifferent to others but gentle to her loved ones. The white-haired woman was not like that. She truly had a cold personality.

"My mother and father are both vampires from the Morgan Family. They were cousins who were betrothed, but divorced not long after I was born," Erza said, explaining about her mother.

"I'm sure you can guess what her personality is like. Besides being very fierce and cold, she's also very conservative. My father couldn't stand her so he divorced her himself. If you can conquer her heart, that would be quite an achievement. Perhaps you can rely on your blood because she must also be very fond of it."

While saying all that, Erza occasionally laughed.

"Do you dare to say all this in front of her?" asked David in response.

This woman spoke without restraint about her mother, which was why David asked her that.

Instantly after hearing the question, she smiled wryly.

"I'm afraid she'll kill me if she finds out that I stole Excalibur for a man, especially if I say that, but I really hope she can become tame, and I'm sure you can tame her," Erza replied, winking her eyes.

She even shifted her ass closer to David now that there was no need to use the seat belt anymore.

Her hands hugged his waist while her face was close to his neck.

"Honey, I'm thirsty," she said with a pleading expression.

"Not now," David replied, immediately refusing, making her smile wryly.

Of course, she still continued to hold him, resting her head on his chest.

For this matter as long as she didn't do anything strange, David didn't refuse. After all, it's quite comfortable.

He was even getting sleepy. Perhaps the game this morning and night had exhausted him too much and he wanted to sleep more.

Since it was like that, he started to sleep. It's a long journey. Just sitting would be too boring.

Maybe Erza also chose to sleep rather than wait without anyone to accompany her.

David didn't realize how long he had been asleep. He woke up when he heard Mery's voice, asking them to get ready because the plane was about to land.

When he opened his eyes and looked out the window, he found that the sky was dark but full of stars.

Below, there was a city that looked very bright.

"Washington DC, I'm finally back again," Erza said suddenly.

The woman apparently opened her eyes as he looked at the window.

Unfortunately, she could not hold him any longer.

She hurriedly moved to the side and fastened her seatbelt.

After that, the plane began its descent.

The landing process was quick and smooth.

At the airport, Erza's plane even had a large garage, so it was not parked outside, but inside.

David even saw quite a few employees inside the garage, from mechanics to cleaning service.

After the plane stopped, Mery came out of the pilot room.

David and Erza stood up when she came.

And apparently, Erza couldn't let go of her yet because her hand held his tightly while her head rested on his shoulder.

"Come on down, baby," she said.

David went down with her, behind Mery.

As he descended the steps of the airplane, he got stunned looks from everyone in the garage.

It was something he expected since she was holding his hand.

Erza did not seem to care about their stares.

She pulled David's hand towards the Mercedez that was ready in the garage.

Mery stepped faster, entering the driver's seat of the Mercedez while David and Erza entered the back room.

After that, they left the airport through the back of the garage which was directly connected to the city street.

Washington DC was more majestic than Paris with its ancient buildings.

There, David saw many skyscrapers.

The women here are more open. Finding women who wear long pants is harder than finding women who wear shorts.

Even the employees who wear skirts raise their skirts when they go home from work.

In addition, David did not only see westerners, but there were quite a few people from other nations such as Chinese or Indians.

However, there was something that bothered David.

Along the way, he saw many drug addicts.

It was obvious from their expressions.

Some of them lay on the sidewalk without caring about other people passing by.

Although he often read about the many drug addicts in the United States, but most news always said that it was only in certain cities. Washington DC is as prosperous as ever with its healthy population.

If even Washington DC was like this, what about other cities?

David chose not to think about it too much because the people in this country had their own way of thinking in taking care of their country.

Mery drove towards the city center which was only becoming more and more crowded.

There were many government offices, including the offices of various social organizations.

After a while of arriving there, David finally got to see the white building.

He was quite amazed that it was bigger than he had expected.

As for their destination, it was a building not far from the white building.

It also had a large courtyard with many men in suits coming in and out.

Unlike most government offices, it had walls surrounding it. Even to enter the courtyard, one had to pass a strict inspection.

However, when Erza's car entered, Mery only had to show her face. After that, the car was immediately allowed to enter. There were no special checks at all.

Shua!

The car sped off, not even stopping at the parking lot, but heading straight for the entrance of the building, as if Mery just wanted to stop it there.

However, the people especially the guards who were obviously military members seemed to be used to the car and the people inside, so they just watched quietly.

Of course, they were surprised when the car stopped and the door opened.

They saw Erza pulling the hand of a handsome young man.

The way she did it looked very romantic. That's what surprised them.

After the two got off, Erza only held David's hand tighter.

"Don't be nervous, dear, my father is a gentle man even though he looks fierce," Erza said as she took a step into the building.

It was as if she was deliberately calling David by the word dear to clarify their relationship.

"Who's nervous, I'll kick your father's ass if he dares to be arrogant in front of me," David replied.

Unfortunately, Erza's words made him look weak. He didn't want to be seen as a weak man, so he spoke dominating words.

Erza smiled wryly at that while the people they passed by coughed unintentionally.

They stared at David with their eyes wide open. Some rubbed their ears, wondering if they had heard wrong.

If it wasn't because they kept going so they were already quite far away, they would have stopped David, asking him for an explanation.

Of course, they couldn't take it if someone claimed to be beating up their boss, the United States Secretary of Defense, a practically all-powerful figure.

It just so happened that when they arrived at the lobby, there was a group of men coming out of the elevator. They had a sharp aura, and that aura was purely due to their gaze as humans.

David and Erza couldn't help but stop their steps when those men appeared.

One of them was a middle-aged man with blond hair and a handsome face.

He stood in the center, looking very authoritative.

He was obviously the United States Secretary of Defense, Erza's father, whose name was Leonardo.

Seeing Erza whom he hadn't seen for several days appear here, he couldn't help but be dumbfounded.

His eyes quickly fell on Erza and David's hands and then he intensely looked at David's face.

His eyes became sharp very quickly.

Even David vaguely felt a fierce aura as if it was ready to explode from the man's body. He only held back because there were too many ordinary people here.

His subordinates who followed him looked at each other strangely.

They also didn't expect to see Erza carrying a young man who was clearly her boyfriend.

"Dad, let's find a place, my boyfriend wants to talk to you," Erza said, looking very relaxed in front of her father.

After saying that, she pulled David to a corner of the lobby.

There, there was a door that led to the cafeteria.

Since it was late, the cafeteria was closed, but the lights were still on, so they could still sit there.
